    Chicken curry
    Naveen R.

My eternal quest to feed my momo appetite continued as I hit up yet another spot in the area serving food from the Himalayan region. I got my usual order of steamed chicken momos in addition to the fried variety that I don't normally opt for. The steamed momos were delightful - perfectly chewy and delicious dumpling wrapping with a great shape, with a flavorful and tender filling. Served with some great tomato-chili sauce, which was perfect for dipping. The fried chicken momos were a disappointment. They had been fried so long and hard to the point of losing any suggestion of moisture and like a hard brick on the outside with a very unpleasant aftertaste bordering to burnt/charred. How the filling managed to escape the same fate I will never know. The dumpling wrapper seemed to have sacrificed its life (It was cooked beyond any remaining semblance of life) to save the filling. Despite this valiant effort, I couldn't bring myself to eat more than a couple, with or without the dipping sauce. Chicken fried rice was done with strips of meat. tossed with rice and veggies. The dish could have done with a bit more seasoning - a few grains of salt would've taken this dish far. Chicken curry was nothing to complain about, pretty standard fare.

Chicken momo They don't have BUFF MOMO I want , take a while to get my orrder ( 20mins) the chef need to speed up or hire more chef pls,

Good Indo Chinese food at a reasonable price. Have been visiting this establishment for several years and the food has been consistently good.

Ordered to go egg biryani and chicken dum biryani, they were both so flavorful and such huge servings. The service was quick and everything in place.

This was my first time ordering from her. I absolutely loved it. Right amount of seasoning, good portions and the container of sauces was great. Can't wait to order from here again.

Their mango lassi is absolutely yummy with and without the boba so I absolutely recommend that for drinks. It tastes more like lychee than boba, which is yummier. The music is surprising, thought I'd hear more Asian culture. They have the best mixed fried rice, and the portion sizes are amazing. They have the best goat curry, the goat was succulent. The chicken in their Biryani was also succulent.

This spot really hit my Indian food crave. Although it was located at a small part of a big square, their food is well made and delicious. I ordered some chicken dumplings, butter chicken masala, and chicken biryani (added some extra garlic naan as well). The chicken dumplings weren't bad, but it tasted repetitive after the 5th one. I wish they made the skin more chewy and softer to bite into (although I did order take out due to COVID, so maybe it would have tasted better in person). Butter chicken and chicken biryani were my favorite! Huge portion size and paired well with their naan. Highly recommend! The butter chicken masala was extremely tasty and I used my naan to dip into it as well. The chicken biryani is a hidden treasure. Based on the physical appearance, it looks like it's purely rice and onions, but once I started to dig in, hidden chunks of chicken started appearing which helped balance the whole dish. I do wish the place was more welcoming - it had a dreary and slightly depressing atmosphere (if I did eat there)

Chicken Tandoori, comes with Biryani rice, lettuce and a side of masala which is delicious!

First time here...and the food was delicious! Restaurant is not open for dine-in due to COVID, so order ahead or be ready to wait 10-15mins. I will be back for more!

Had the beef dumplings a friend brought me back to try. AMAZING! Will definitely eat from there again! Super spicy but worth it! Loved it!!!

Of course, I ordered the chicken steam momo, which is consistently good as always. I also tried the Timur chicken for the first time, and it was really good...so good that I ordered a second one. The presentation and flavor were great. The first order was slightly crispier than the second, so the flavor profile felt a little different. Both were good, but I do wish the texture was more consistent. I also got the Badel Sadeko (marinated wild boar sauté), which I always order. It was excellent as usual, consistent in both presentation and flavor. Definitely one of my favorites on the menu. Now for the disappointment: the chicken thali. Unfortunately, it did not meet expectations. The rice tasted like it was a day old. It came with a cauliflower and potato curry, which was okay. The dal (lentil soup) also tasted like it had been sitting for a while, almost as if some ghee was added right before serving to freshen it up. The biggest letdown was the chicken curry. It was flavorless and watered down, very disappointing compared to the other dishes. The thali also came with saag (mustard), achar, and a gulab jamun (probably canned) for dessert. Those were fine, but nothing special. p.s. The service was perfect! Our server was the sweetest!

This time I went a bit all out and ordered the butter chicken momo, creamy Sichuan momo, tandoori momo, steamed momo, and the Delhi masala momo. Honestly, this visit was way better. Last time the biggest issue was the sauce, it just wasn't enough and everything felt pretty dry, but this time they really fixed that and the sauces actually showed up, which made a huge difference. Everything tasted solid overall, though it really depends on what you like since the flavors are pretty different across the menu. The momo wrappers are on the thicker side, so if you're someone who prefers a thinner skin, just keep that in mind because that was the case with all the ones I tried. My favorite ended up being the tandoori momo, even though it was a bit salty, the flavor was really good. I usually don't go for butter chicken momo, but that one surprised me, it was actually a hit and everyone at the table liked it. The Delhi masala momo was vegetarian and still packed with flavor, and the creamy Sichuan momo was also pretty good. The place was pretty busy when we went, but the service was quick, so overall this time it felt like a much better experience.

I tried... after a long wait of it telling me it was "working on it", it finally failed. When I called, I encountered the expected language barrier, so I decided I'd just go to the place and show them the order on my phone to avoid any confusion. Ambiance was just as expected. Inside a gas station convenience store. No frills. Perfectly fine by me. The first guy that showed up to help me was too busy cooking and sent some woman over. I tried to place my order with her. When I said "pork" for the momo, an option listed on the menu, I was told "no pork". Apparently only chicken. Then I tried ordering the chicken biryani. Pretty sure I pronounced it correctly--or at least close enough since it's worked just fine at other places. She had no idea what I was wanting. I showed her the order on my phone. I think she was telling me it was also not available; I really wasn't sure. Unfortunately, I had to leave. I wasn't feeling the "friendly 5-star experience" that other reviewers mentioned as well as what I've always experienced at the other Nepali restaurants in the area that I've been to. I see "under new ownership" mentioned on the website. Perhaps the 5-star reviews were for the previous owners? Disappointed.

My daughter lost her first tooth at that pub, such good memories of years past. There are still Guinness signs hanging behind the bar. Seeing those old signs brought a single tear to my eye. One door closes and another opens. The restaurant that now calls the old pub their new home is great! All is good with the new place, you might even say great. The interior is not that of a pub anymore. It has been completely redone and the dining room is quite nice. I wouldn't call it a quiet cozy little romantic restaurant, but it could be if that's what you need. I would be willing to take my kiddos to the new restaurant, as long as the six-year-old boy is acting like a human on the day we decide to go. There is a full bar too. I feel that anyone can stop in for any occasion a fit right in. I don't remember the names of the dishes that my wife and I had for dinner but the food was very good. We kept it simple and we both had chicken dishes. If you want to step out and explore culinary culture they offer many appealing options. The food was fresh and light.
