Dear O'Reilly employee, You had just come back from the bank when I was patiently waiting for someone to help me. All the employees were outside helping different clients with different needs. I recognized you as I had just seen you getting change at the bank. You told the teller you kept running out of change because everybody kept paying in $100s. I said, "Hi!" as you approached the cash register but you just stared at me for a minute and then ignored me like I wasn't there. You then told the employee that came in that you had run to the bank to try and get change, explained to him that you couldn't process something for him and then took off. I want you to know that the polite thing to do would have been to say hello back and acknowledge me. I would have understood if you said, "I am sorry, the next employee available will come and help you momentarily." It really sucks to be ignored by the people employed to help you. I hope you read this and realize you shouldn't work in customer service if you lack the capacity to even speak to the clientele. I was there to buy a part for my car that my mechanic asked me to go and get it for repair. It was called Ignition coil, I paid 80$ for it, the seller there was very informative and gave me advise to complete the buy. He was caring and did the transaction very quickly after finished the phone call. I recommend that branch. He also told me I have lifetime warranty on the part, even without asking him. I am happy. So we went inside and he checked the warranty status and I was still covered. Even though I didnt have to pay anything, they changed it out for me at no cost. I was looking for summer sun shades for our car but I didn't find the kind I wanted to buy. I looked for radiator coolant and found the one I needed for our Camry. Purchased a multi function switch lever to replace an old one since my mom's low beams weren't turning on but her parking lights and high beams were. Turns out I'm an idiot that didn't know I had to pull the lever forward instead of back to change high beams to low beams. Came back later that night to see if I could return it and he helped me out with the return even though they don't typically do return on those types of parts. It was greatly appreciated. read more

BEWARE DO NOT COME HERE!!! No wonder why this place has a low rating on yelp and on google this place sucks and is rude!! Recently I went there to get my battery replaced that I Bought there brand new with warranty. My car was sitting outside dead and I needed a replacement battery. They couldn't even take my battery out cause they said "it was difficult to take off" so I had to take it off. It was so easy to take off like 2 minutes and all it had was plastic clips. They then refused to replace my defective battery that I had bought there with a warranty. Went to another competitors shop and they said the battery was a dud and needed replacement they even gave me a discount off a new one. To management: replace your employees or have them get training. Respect your warranties and customers needs or you won't be in business for long doing half a** s***. Came here to get some windshield wipers for my car and there was a guy here named Steve (I believe he is the manager) who was friendly and super helpful! He was very knowledgeable and thorough in helping me find the specific type of wipers for my car. I had went to the Kragen O'Reilly on Magnolia and bought some windshield wipers for my car, but Steve here pointed out that my car needed skinny and narrow wipers and the ones I bought weren't going to work for me. He actually came out into the parking lot to check the old wipers on my car, helped me return the wrong wipers I bought, looked for some new ones, and even installed them for me! Compared to the local competition, this chain is cleaner and much better organized. Employees assisted customers with professionalism and courtesy, however, if you come in to buy a product off the shelf, be prepared to wait, a long while. Like most businesses, the store is very understaffed, and in my personal, professional opinion, needs a dedicated cashier for those customers that do not need to buy or order complicated parts orders and advice. This could be a 5 star experience if not for the 14 minute wait to buy two items I picked off the shelf and ready to check our right away. Which either didnt know shit or was just lazy asf . I had told her i purchased the fm transmitter at another oreillys location which you still can return to another location . She said "yea thats fine" she then begun putting in the info on the receipt and say it wasnt the same material that was on the receipt that they didn't match . I told her i know 100% this is the right receipt. She brought something up on the computer and showed me see they dont match . Smh didnt want to get into with the girl . So beforei had left i walked to where the fm transmitters were in the store ans sure enough they were in stock and the same one i had . She said i had to go back to the o'Reilly that i originally got it from which i shouldn't have had to . I just said yea yup smdh and left . Took it to o'Reilly on Lincoln got my money back like nothing. Went in tonight because my battery kept dying and someone suggested I get my battery and alternator tested at OReilys since it's free. So after getting the police to kindly jump my car I drove over. (My receipt says his name is Shawn) was incredibly helpful! Can't really think of a time I received better customer service. He tried to test my battery but it died, so he tried to charge it for me but still had no luck. He even tried to clean some of the corrosion off the lead to see if it would provide a better charge. So finally after another failed attempt I just purchased a new battery. He helped me install it and even cleaned the off the corrosion on the leads. The store had already closed and he stayed until it was complete and my car would start. He truly did an amazing job, although it was almost closing time he made sure it was done correctly and as best as possible. Thanks for changing my luck! (: read more

I was content with that and went to my car to read my book while waiting. I called back after an hour for an update, and then was told they were not ready and that they would need another half hour. Okay. After another 45 mins, I call to check on the rotors. I was then told that it would be another 30 mins. I am disappointed now, and drive home to wait for a call. I get a call, only to tell me that they would need another 30 mins. I an livid now. I end up driving in, adding for my rotors back, and leave as angry as ever. I am never coming back here, or going to recommend it to anyone I know. read more

I came in on friday june 22 2018 at 1245 pm to replace a blown fuse. But i didnt have the tweezer to pull it out of the socket. I kindly asked the darker middle aged latino man with the accent at the counter if i could use or borrow something to pull it out real fast. He was very rude and said no. He looked at me like i was a criminal or as if i was a homeless person asking for money. At least answer me and give me some dignity. I guess they dont appreciate a customers business. My husband and I are not happy with the fact that we were lied to TWICE by the employees that work at this location! Why do they offer a service of resurfacing rotors up until 10pm if they don't actually do it?!?! My husband walked in at 7pm after I called hours before closing to confirm a cut off time for this service but the guy that answered my call lied and told me they close at 10pm so it was no problem to bring it in even at 9:30pm, when he knew that it would take an hour to resurface a set of rotors and my husband needed 2 sets to be worked on. To add to it, my husband had to ask the incompetent employees to help him look for another store that had a person that could cut the rotors for him too! And by the way, my husband spoke with the Ball Rd. store manager the day before in person and he told him the same thing. But he was a liar too, seems like thats the way they train employees here...to lie just to get patrons into the store. What a waste of time and travel for my husband this is not the customer service we expect. At the 2nd location my husband ended going to, they were only able to work on one set and now its late as I'm writing his review and the brake jobs aren't able to be finished as planned. This is the only store where I will go to buy auto parts and seek honest and friendly advice with what I need. The guys here were SIMPLY THE BEST esp. Javier the Store Manager. It is so hard to be accommodated now a days the best possible expectation because most people are very mediocratic and clocks in and out only for the sake of collecting money at the end of the pay period. This store however, is exceptional in Customer Service. I met Javier some years ago because I came from another Auto parts store with much dismay of being accommodated. He helped me with he best service at that time. That prompted me in going back to their store because not only its Javier that is very nice, friendly and outstanding but also every time I go there all the guys are just as helpful and nice!!! I went back this morning and Javier started assisting me then, to my surprise he said 'I KNOW YOU" and he started reminding me of the first time I got at their store. It does make a difference to deal with people of good aura and character. It puts you in a safe zone because you know you can not go wrong trusting them. He helped me fix my car with the head lights and gave me some great advice with some issues I'm having with my car.:-) I was late for work but it was all worth it because my car got fixed by the right person. In a span of a couple of days a few weeks ago, I found myself visiting this O'Reilly store about 3 times. The first time I asked for a radiator quote and although they didn't have my part, they printed out a location nearby with the one I needed. The second time I had to buy coolant for my new radiator and they opened up a new register so I didn't need to wait. The third time I came in for some transmission fluid and the lady was nice enough to look up which one was best for my car. The customer service here is excellent. Ordered some parts online for 1-hour pickup. After 2 hours I cancelled the order and went to Napa instead. Called their 800-number to cancel online orders, girl on the other end says "okay, it's cancelled." I ask for a confirmation number. This was apparently beyond her comprehension and all she could do was stammer. Fine, I'll just keep an eye on it. "Order pick-up available" email comes THE NEXT DAY. I ignore it, figuring the order was cancelled and they'll know I'm not coming for it. Nope, the charge clears as if I had picked it up. Call their 800 number again, was initially told that I had picked up the order. Said "guess again, I never did, I cancelled it". Was on hold for 30 minutes while the guy called the store to see what was up. Confirms I didn't pick up the order and says they'll refund it. Get a call 10 minutes later from the store manager saying they can't process the refund unless I PHYSICALLY BRING THE CARD TO THE STORE so they can process it. Apparently, the staff there are barely capable of banging 2 rocks together, much less running a refund. Never spending another dime at O'Reilly. read more

The staff is friendly but not very knowledgeable. I was in there one night and heard an employee giving a customer advice that was dangerous and wrong. When testing coils you shouldn't use a screw driver and look for an arc. That's just plain stupid. If you aren't getting advice, then the staff is nice and helpful. read more
