I came in to buy a windshield wiper I needed. As I was taking this picture of the brands they had this lady "manager" just got infront of me and started fixing or moving the wipers. I was just behind her waiting for her to move and she just stayed there. Another manager came to assist her and both just ignored the fact that I was right behind them. Horrible customer service. Due to a battery issue with my car, I looked for a shop that was open late and contacted this place. I specifically asked if they could also handle a battery replacement, and the woman who answered the phone told me to come in the morning. Trusting her instructions, I arrived promptly at 6 a.m. when they opened. However, when I got there, only someone who appeared to be the manager was present, and shortly afterward one employee arrived. When I explained what had been discussed the day before, they told me that no one was available and that I would need to come back after 9 a.m. I was extremely frustrated, as I had relied on the woman's information and prepared from 5:30 a.m. to be there on time. I also needed to head straight to work afterward to transport staff, but despite my sincere requests, they simply responded that there was nothing they could do. I cannot recommend this place. They clearly lack proper staff training, and all they did was waste my time. read more

I neededy car battery replaced so I went to O'Reilly Auto Parts because it was close by. The guy wanted to charge over $150 and was acting like he really didn't want to help me so I called AutoZone. I was in and out within 15 minutes. $100 for new battery and free installation. Great service and much appreciated! read more

Very rude men employees that have no respect for their customers, especially women. I called early in the morning to ask for a part, the person on the phone mentioned he had the part in stock and he will put it on hold for me. I gave him my name/ number and I told him I will go pick it up later today. I arrived to pick it up with my mom and I told the person in the front my name/ number and the name of the part. He tells me that there's no part under my name/ number, he calls an older, bigger man to help him find it but he couldn't find it. My mom and I are obviously upset because we drive 40 minutes looking toward to buying the part we really needed. We tell the older man helping if there's anything else he can do and he responds in a rude way. We tell him how it's really unprofessional how they lie about putting something on hold for a customer. We walk away and the older, bigger man yells "fuck you" when walking away. read more

I bought oil for my Suburu here at Auto Zone today. I had a woman cashier help me. She was knowledgeable, she knew where to find the products I needed. Familiar with the comparisons I asked about. Very helpful. What was sad is the way the manager, I believe it was the manager, and another employee (both men), responded to her when she asked a question and used a register that was completely open. As a customer, had either one of these guys responded to me in that manner, I would have walked out. Obviously, one of the first women in that store, as I have never seen another woman working. Went to this autozone at 6:30pm at night having car troubles. Adam, who was the assistant manager helped us through it. We weren't sure what the problem was as the car didn't start. Thought it was the alternator so I had asked Adam to check it but it wasn't that. With his experience he thought it might be the solenoid starter and you know what, he was right. Purchased the High Quality Led bulbs at the Autozone Store in Van Nuys... Didn't realize that installation required an additional resistor to avoid error messages... Came to this Anaheim Store because it closes at midnight.... Have never seen anyone as lazy as this individual.... First told me that LED bulbs are not returnable.... Then told me that my package was opened... I didn't open them as it was sold to me this way from the other store... Bottomline don't buy these parts from Autozone.... Or this location... People weren't joking about the cashier line wait. I came around 8pm on a Thursday night and it took 25 minutes to buy a headlight bulb. I definitely would recommend management to make an Express line for customers who want to pay and go, and then a help desk for the more complicated purchases. Or maybe hire more people, even if it's some high schooler looking for a part-time job. However, the staff was very nice and accommodating. I didn't meet any rude people. The store was quiet and clean. There was a security guard/loss prevention guy walking around which was kind of surprising. I've never seen one at an Auto Zone, especially a small one as this. There was plenty of parking though and you can rent car batteries here. You can't get cash back here though. Anyway, I won't come back no matter how nice the staff is. There are plenty of other auto shops a few blocks away that aren't as slow. read more

Aaron R the general manager from this AutoZone was more than helpful when I came in with a part I bought a couple days ago and for some reason even though I had sent my receipt to my email it had never shown up. the part I had bought had been incorrect part for what I needed and he was more than obliging and helping me not only get back to my refund but an actual cash refund. along with that he was due to my situation I had not had my physical ID on me but yet I had had a picture of it and he was even willing to work with me there. this is got to be the best interaction I've ever had at this AutoZone in my entire life! I'm still thinking about how I feel about this location. I would like to forget but...I can't. Since I had a better experience at the other locations for example the Cypress location-my is the go-to location. It was because they didn't have what I needed which were two sets to complete the strut. I was sent to this location in Anaheim. It was not a choice of my own. So, I drove 20 minutes to this location. Got in the lot and went inside. As soon as I open the door there were already 5-6 people in line and two people were being helped by two superb slow-moving cashiers when I noticed one out of two was yawning half of the time as he helped the other customers. There were 3-4 people stocking inventory and two in the back. So, why am I'm in line still 20 minutes later? Do you ask? IDK, I have no other choice! I needed to pick up the parts that I already paid for in advance. So, I waited, and waited, it was like watching a pair of sloths working!! It is so ridiculous!! I was running late, making it back to the mechanic to install these parts. Omg!! Lord help me. I'm trying to control myself. Finally, I was called by a female cashier. For the life of her, she couldn't pull up my receipt. She kept pulling up the wrong parts for the wrong car. We went back and forth for ten minutes, of course, I handed her my original receipt before. Until another cashier tried to help her. Please someone put me out of my misery! As God is my witness! I will NEVER return to this location EVER AGAIN! I've never seen so many people hate what they are doing as a job and they show you, that they do!! You see it all right here! My car was struggling to start so I brought it by and asked if they could test my battery. A guy came out with the battery tester to my car and told me right away the battery was bad. I went back to work (I work around the corner) and tried calling Triple A to get a battery because they'll install it and I get a Triple A discount but their battery guy didn't have my battery in stock (Mazda Miata 1999). I ordered a battery using the Auto Zone mobile ap (yeah I downloaded it and it's handy for price comparisons), paid for it on the ap and the receipt showed up in my Iphone passbook. I showed the new guy Mark (?) my phone with the receipt and he looked perplexed. Joshua stepped in and got my battery, refunded me for the core ($18) and installed it for free! My car has life again and for that I'm grateful thanks to Autozone for having my battery in stock and Joshua for installing it! If it wasn't for Abraham helping out I would have taken my car to a mechanic and replaced parts i didn't need to replace. He saw us struggling in the lot working on our car and offered to help out with his own scanner that he bought with his own money. Before he showed up for hours we must have tried everything, ecu reset, coolant flush to no avail. When he plugged in his scanner and reset everything the car was fixed like he did magic. Not to mention he stayed almost an hour after he got off work @1am to help put my bellypan back on and to make sure i had no further problems which he didn't have to do & gave us a free flashlight. Another worker from the store which i didn't grab his name also stayed an hour after he got off work @1am to make sure everything went ok. If it wasn't for abraham my car would have sat in the lot and been taken to a mechanic for its thermostat replaced or possibly more parts. Also earlier in the day a few female workers helped me take off my battery for charging. I HIGHLY recommend this autozone if you need to do any work in a autozone lot as they have excellent workers. read more

Me and my husband we're looking for some headlight bulb for our new car. we went there today like 1pm. my husband found what he is looking for. so we went outside to try the bulb in our car which is just parked in front of their store. when we tried it and my husband was not expecting/happy or not the same as the picture shows the one that we bought for almost $70. we went back inside the store to ask the guy about the bulb, he said we cant refund it because we already tried it in our car. Seriously???? its just 3mins? you can check your CCTV if you want. he could have just given as some options or i just dont understand why we cant refund it because its not the same as what it says.
