I did like the hotel grounds, but the rooms were not insulated, and you could hear noise and see sunlight through the doors and windows. The worst part was I unfortunately looked at the pillow when the pillowcase slipped off and it was disgusting and I was just afraid to even look at the mattress. Some of the people were OK other were just rude. The breakfast was the worst breakfast at any hotel or breakfast that was offered in Guatemala. This hotel is right next to a Airbnb and the people partied all hours of the night. I know it's not the Hotel's fault but needless to say we didn't get much sleep. Normally I don't have issues here besides the workers never seem to be in a very good mood. But today I walked in and the woman was helping another customer so I was waiting my turn. She looked like she just wasn't in the mood for anyone today and kinda just scowled at me. Another man walked out from the back and looked at me and kept walking. No "we'll be right with you" or "good morning." Not so much as a smile. The woman needed to walk past me to help her customer and just glared at me like I was in her way so I moved over and said sorry and she just walked past me with that same scowl. Excellent service. Was greeted the second. I walked in and they assisted me with my battery change. They were extremely knowledgeable as well as helpful. They took measurements to make sure that the proper battery was going to be purchased and also to my surprise.... I was not aware that they offered, free removal and installation of the new battery. It took about 15 minutes and that is with me having a sports car and the battery was not exactly in an accessible area. my truck is a diesel and requires DEF. Chevy engineers must have been drunk when they decided to put the spout for the DEF on the firewall. DEF is sold in 2.5-gallon jugs. which is very heavy, also, unless you are very tall, you need a step stool to reach the spout. Went to O'reilly's competitor and asked if I bought the DEF would they put it in for me. Was rudely told no. Went to O'Reilly, their answer was sure, no problem. the gentlemen who helped me was very kind. Also, he let me know that DEF was now sold in 1-gallon jugs so if it came a time, I had to put the DEF in it would be a little easier for me. read more

11/5/23 My car would not start so I jumped started it with my wife's car, all good, drove around and completed my mornings errands (knowing not to turn it off during such) returned home and turned it off. Next morning same thing happened again, after another jump start, now it was time for a trip to my go to Auto Parts establishment, O'Reilly Auto Parts off of Cave Creek Road in Cave Creek. Upon walking into the store I was greeted with a "good morning Sir" as usual, from two employees who were at different checkout stations, ... Met with Evan to discuss my current experience and he said let's take a look at what you have, afterwards he said that you need a battery (Battery Date code was 4/2020) . Battery was the original battery and tested for extremely low cranking amps afterwards he looked up what was needed for my 2020 Subaru Legacy Turbo.Evan found 2 choices of batteries and thoroughly explained what the difference was between them and left the choice to me, after I made my decision Evan removed the battery from their stock and wheeled it out to my car and proceeded with replacing the battery in no time at all. This experience was the same as always with O'Reilly Auto Parts, much appreciation to Evan and O'Reilly Auto Parts for being there for all of our Cave Creek community car needs . I have been to this store three times and two times I just walked out because of the ridiculously slow service, lack of service or both. First time it took forever for the guy to find the part on the computer and then go the the back to get it. He said it was in stock, but the guy couldn't find it, and looked a little frazzled. It took another person to help get it and seemed pretty quick about it, not sure what the problem was. The second time I went, they had lost their credit card server and had to call each transaction in over the phone. Realize it's not anything they can control, but the way the staff handled it could have been A LOT better. I mean blasting the phone on speaker and shouting credit card numbers to the person on the phone? No thanks, I didn't want my credit card shouted to everyone in the store...so I left and went to Auto Zone. Final straw was when the store was apparently being upgraded. It's wonderful to updated, but don't do it during business hours. The chaos of trying to shop around workers moving end-caps and the makeshift counter they were trying to set up for the staff computer terminal didn't seem to go well. The store had a line of people waiting for...well we're not sure what. We all just kind of looked at each other trying to figure out what's going on. The staff was obviously more involved in what they were doing, than acknowledging anyone. I left and drove an extra 5 minutes up Cave Creek to Auto Zone. Had good experiences at other O'Rilley stores but the service and knowledge here is really the worst. Save some hassle and drive 5 minutes up the road to Auto Zone. read more

I have made this my go-to-store for all of my auto parts needs UNTIL today. I drove to the store to load up on coolants and oil and when I got there my radiator hose blew. I basically needed a couple of tools and help loosing the clamps. When I requested service the customer service person told me there is no assistance under the hood. Honestly I was shocked. This location has assisted me with numerous under the hood service request. In Colorado they even helped me change a headlight. Called to see if they had a part. They said it was $99 I was shopping online and had found it for $34 so I asked them if they price matched. They said they do but only local competition. This is the best auto parts store I have ever shopped. The staff is very knowledgeable and will go above and beyond to help you. I have a '64 chevy pick up I drive and occasionally things happen to it or stuff falls off. Once, one of the staff helped me to remount the crankshaft pulley in the parking lot after the bolt backed put and the crank pulley fell off on Cave Creek Road. It was a hot day. The motor was hot. It was a messy affair but they were all over it and off I went an hour later. I am so grateful. It is worth driving 10 miles to shop here. This store is always helpful. I went in last night around 8pm when my car sounded slow to start. They tested my battery and found it was bad. Thank you to the staff working at this particular O'Reilly's. I found myself with a dead battery on a weekday morning, after my husband had left for work. I was able to get a jump-start and get to their location, not only did they sell the battery to me, they were able to let me know about a $20 coupon that I was able to apply to my purchase. They even installed the battery for me. They did all of this while being very kind and courteous. The first sales person was able to take the battery out for me and at that point the store started to get busy so the second salesperson took over and installed the battery for me. I was in and out of there in 20 minutes. The crazy part of this story is that they kept thanking me for being patient while they were simultaneously answering questions for other customer's as they entered the store. NO thank you to you two for dealing with the outdoor elements while you installed the battery and making my visit quicker and less expensive then my other options. read more
