I was greeted as soon as I walked in the store and I brought my battery in and fortunately they had one in stock but it was almost $300 but it has an unconditional 4 year warranty and I don't have to take my receipt, just give them my phone number and take the battery back and they will test it and give me a new one. I noticed a sign on their window that says they will install the battery for you.

Went with a two year maintenance agreement which includes quarterly inspection, parts replacement, and testing. Price was cheaper than other companies and signing a two year deal brought the price down even more. The battery refresh was something we decided to add on to the SOW and we just had them swapped. New batteries we dropped off the day before the scheduled visit; batteries were replaced and the old ones were picked up the same day. First PM included a baseline inspection to gauge current condition and anything that breaks or needs replacing during the two year contract is covered under the scope. Originally it was called Batteries Plus, and a while back it changed its name. The only reason I bring up this particular employee is he has been working here for a long time. I don't know his name and have never asked for his name either. I will give you on example of what I noticed today and it caught my attention. Now mind you I had to replace a battery of a vintage watch from the 50's or 60's. I handed over the battery to the employee at the counter. He looks at the battery and was unsure of the particular battery that was in stock, so he asked his colleague behind the other counter, if they carried this one particular battery. So without looking he shouts out the number of the battery that replaces it without having to see the battery. Now why do I mention this? To be honest I was impressed with this employee's knowledge of their products. I know this sounds silly to notice something that is trivial to others but to me it makes a big difference. I come here only because if I try and look for what I need at a drugstore chances are they won't have it and it's always a hit and miss at the drugstores. So I may pay a little bit more here, they have always had what I need. What I am trying to relay here is that during these troubling times of finding good employees it is always a breath of fresh air to see someone care about their job and know their job as well as the unknown name person behind the hidden counter. Doesn't hurt to once in a while appreciate people for what they do. Nothing is trivial when noticing a good work employee.

Last one was an AGM and ran almost 10 years. I have a couple of vehicles which include a motorcycle and RV and I do pay a lot of attention to my batteries; keep them fully charged with a charging tender and a couple times a year, run a desulfation cycle.
