I WAS a routine customer here at o'reillys but no longer. Their batteries are trash and they couldn't locate my "warranty" on file. Instead of blowing up, I took my business to Costco. My battery was $75 cheaper, an interstate battery (great brand), and they offer a 36 month warranty. See you never O'reilly's, horrible service and even worse products. read more

I stopped by at O'Reilly on Cave Creek late at night on a Sunday (so glad they close at 9pm on Sundays, and 10pm the rest of the week) after a long day at work. I was hoping to buy some parts to install myself (yaay YouTube) and save some $$. Jeremy assisted me at the counter and, to my surprise, he took care of the installation as well. He was very friendly and professional, and we had a nice chat while he worked on my vehicle. He even gave me some advice in case I needed to do that type of work on my own in the future. I have never gotten such nice surprises from Bezos, LOL. I stopped here to give my business to this place because recently they helped me with a diagnosis and I ended up having to buy the part elsewhere because I had to leave in a rush. I make an effort to support local and brick/mortar businesses, and this location will be in my list. I already have a few other items that I need taken care of for my vehicle and I will be back soon. read more

Went in for transmission fluid and had one employee who was helpful and another who was extremely condescending. He balked when I didn't know the specifications of my engine. We're not all mechanics. I've been a loyal customer to O'Reilly's for years now but I bought a battery from this location about 8 months ago and this morning my battery was completely dead. I brought it to a nearby Auto Zone to get tested and was told the battery hasn't gone bad yet but that it was the wrong size. So I bought the right one from Auto Zone because I needed one asap and didn't trust their competitor to get me the correct one. I then called the store I bought the battery from to see if they could get me a refund for selling me the wrong battery and the manager himself told me he could only do a giftcard... needless to say I wasn't happy especially after he basically blamed me for not bringing it back sooner even though there was absolutely no way I could have known until I started having issues. I will not be going back to this location ever again or any O'Reilly's for that matter. In a single interaction they have just lost a long lasting loyal customer due to one man's greed. Do yourself a favor and avoid this store at all costs. read more

JUAN at oriellys saw me pull up on my bike at 9:58 on my bike 2 minutes before they closed and he ran over to the OPEN sign and turned it off and locked the door when I walked up. Started banging on the door SHOWING HIM THE TIME and he ignored it. Customer still had to leave so I walked in when he unlocked it and I was out BEFORE 10pm! I knew EXACTLY what I wanted (battery terminal bolts) so I was in and out within 60 seconds and still there before they closed. Auto Zone (where i always go) was out of this size so I ran there real quick before close. Can't believe an employee who's been with them so long would run up to the door and lock before the store was closed when people go out of their way to grab something before. The customer service here was amazing, as soon as I walked in and told them what I needed they were right on top of it. I needed to know why my car engine light was on, which thankfully is a service they provide for free. They quickly ran the codes and told me what the problem could be and how to fix it. The employees were both very funny, friendly, and helpful. From now on, if something is wrong with my car I will be going here to check it first. read more

With little to no knowledge of cars I went in tonight knowing what I needed and was treated with such great care by John the Assistant Manager.After so many times in other Auto retail locations being made to feel I was a bother to the staff, I was provided with the proper product, he printed out DIY instructions for me and even let me know his work schedule the next day if I had questions or needed help. As a female in a male dominated environment I was made to feel comfortable and confident in my ability to take care of a minor issue with my car. I usually like O'reilly's auto parts and favor them over Autozone. Not today. They advertise a Motorcraft battery BXT65-850 for 179.99. The Ford dealer on W. Bell Rd sells it for 144.99. This store is more convenient so I called and asked if they price matched Ford. No, only major competitors. Ford isn't a major competitor? I guess not. Bottom line folks, before you buy anything from O'reilly's check prices elsewhere. read more

My wife's car wouldn't start so I jumped it and was going to take it to get a new battery. She drove it to this location and Sarah tested it and said it was "good" and it had over 11 volts. She said it was the starter and turned my wife away. I know enough about cars to know that a car with a bad starter wouldn't start with a simple battery jump. Not to mention 11 volts is virtually dead. My wife had to go to another store where they actual knew something about cars and wanted to help her. Shame on poor customer service. There are plenty of auto parts stores. I will not go back to this one. Horrible store, every time I walk in there the kid is on his phone or slaking around, I ask him and he doesn't know anything about parts or cars, I been coming everyday to spend some cash and get some light it's been almost a month now that they don't have it, then they try to make me look like a liar when I just live down the street, very low on inventory like they trade it to get a fix of some drugs. And when I ask about when inventory get delivered so I can get my God damn led's so they can match the one I got a month ago, he tell that the led I'm looking for they won't be there anymore they stopped ordering them when that's the top seller, obviously when u out of an item you should order more or little more than last time so u don't leave shelf empty next time. So he present him self as manager!!! If your manager this store is going to shit, I manage 8 stores family owned and I can tell u this if u were in one of our stores and the shelf is empty, and u come at me or my customer with that kind of BS, your definitely ganna be the sign guy outside because u don't deserve making contact with customers your killing business my friend. I had a crazy day dealing with both of my vehicles. I found out my car would be in the shop for almost two weeks and then the battery in our other car died... As frustrating as it all was, Jose and John were so helpful when I went in to get a new battery. Jose put the new one in and it was quick! I went in there for some oil. The oil I needed wasn't on the shelves so I asked an associate next to me if he could look in the back to see if they have some. He gave me this look like I was bugging him and didn't even look at the oil and said yep sure. I wait 5 minutes and the idiot hadn't come back yet. So I ask the guy at the front desk for help and told him what happened. He says oh that's the commercial sales manager and he had taken a phone call. I have always had good luck with O'Reilly Auto parts, but not today. I have a lifetime warranty on my brake pads. I replaced my pads the other day and brought my used pads back in for a warranty refund today. There were more employees than customers & yet little customer service. It was my turn and I was ushered over to a young punk with curly hair. I told him what I was in for & without looking up, punk asked "are they metal on metal?" (making me think, here we go) I said no & punk shrugged & opened box and started looking for a reason to decline wty. Punk points to an area on one of the pads that was about 1/16"X 3/4 and proclaims "warranty void"! I said, you've got to be kidding me & he says sorry, company policy. I told him it was a horrible policy & we went back & forth a little... As I was walking out the door he was literally laughing out loud at me in front of other customers and employees. I turned around and asked him if he thought it was funny, to which he responded, "Actually, yes I do"! I honestly was amazed at his response and said I guess my only recourse is Yelp, to which he replied "good, I'll make a comment too!" I am shocked that a paying customer would be treated like this anywhere, especially with our current situation with the lock down. To make matters worse, after I left, I went to another O'Reilly store and was issued a refund with no issue. There are a a lot of choices for everything these days, I guess I'll check out Rockauto.com in the future, this O'Reilly doesn't need or want my business evidently read more
