We got there 15-20 minutes early since we had another appointment set later on for the day. Technicians had a lack of care for our time. When It came down to getting the replacement air-filter we told them we were ready to leave but insisted on continuing to work on our vehicle. The technician offered us a "20 dollar coupon" for our time, however that was the discount coupon we got before even arriving to get serviced. Then when trying to leave the technician leaves the keys with themselves having me run back to get them from him. Honestly, If I could give 0 STARS I would they do not care about your time.

Everyone was nice to my face during my appointment. I was early to my appointment but the estimator was late. I was guided to just go inside and wait and no one here really explains much to you. I got my estimate back 3 days later from when it was taken with excessive things listed on there my car does not need. I am assuming they do this because they work with insurance companies. No one guided me if my car was safely drivable or not, i guess they just assumed i knew that because i drove it there and drove it home. I would have liked these guys to explain if im safe driving this thing around until it can get fixed because they are the experts apparently. They didn't say anything. I get an email from this place about scheduling to repair the damage before my insurance company even reached out to me regarding if my vehicle is a total loss or not. I called and the person who answered the phone was not friendly.. Johnathan. I believe his name is. Not sure. I was just calling to make sure we are on the same page or they know something i don't. The person over the phone was very rude and treated me like i was stupid. I understand a job can be frustrating but you should know you're dealing with people going through it if you work at a collision place. To the company: Please do not over work your employees. This makes the atmosphere of your work place negative and not helpful. Teach effective communication to your employees. This would probably solve most of the confusion or frustration between them and your clients. Communicate with the insurance companies before trying to schedule repairs with clients. This would help you look less scammy and stupid. After calling several auto care shops in frustration, Paul and his team at Holiday Auto Care enthusiastically asked me to come on in so they could take care of my license plate dilemma (for free!). I have been coming here for my routine service ever since. I have been coming to Holiday Auto Care for a few years now and am really comfortable with the level of service and prices! I am the perfect candidate for any car-related business that wants to rip off a customer; I admittedly do not know much about cars, and it shows. I am guilty of the "call dad to ask if something sounds reasonable or if I am being ripped off, then call the shop back to approve or push back" pattern whenever I get a quote for any form of service. That being said, at Holiday Auto Care, I have never felt ripped off or like my lack of knowledge is being taken advantage of. Paul and his team are always upfront with pricing and are honest in explaining which services are more urgent versus which can wait until the next service appointment. I also really appreciate the emphasis they place on overall vehicle safety. I feel confident in the mechanics here and get a sense of peace of mind since so many of the services come with warranties. Holiday Auto Care also offers a AAA discount on labor, typically has some coupons/specials on their website, and sends out promotions via post cards and emails. The discounts can make a significant difference when applied toward expensive services. The shop is no longer as convenient for me as it was when I first started coming here, but I will continue to come back for the service and fairness!

After about $4000 of quoted repairs ($2000 for the fan replacement), they also quoted me $500 to replace a dead battery. Five hundred dollars for a car battery that should be $250 maximum. The battery was under warranty with AAA so I said I will get them to replace it for free. The kicker is that when AAA tested the battery it was still working completely fine. Three months later the battery is in good health. I wish I would've read other reviews before taking my vehicle here, but let this be a warning to anyone else looking to use this shop. They are dishonest, will overcharge you for parts, try to sell you on unnecessary services, and charge exorbitant labor fees. Seek anywhere else.
