They all turned towards me as I was driving up the bay and threw their arms up in the air in disgust that they would have to do some work. I was so annoyed by the reaction that I turned around and drove away. As I was leaving the parking lot, one of them who looked to be around 18-20 years old waved at me. They probably get paid by the hour so me leaving doesn't mean anything to them. But now I know, I'll just go some place else that actually wants to do their job. Came in to get my oil changed, as well as transmission fluid, air filters and wiper blades. The service was fine but as soon as I left there was a warning for low brake fluid and the parking brake light stays on. I have owned this particular vehicle for over a year and have never had these issues until I got my car serviced at Grease Monkey. In addition, they replaced my wiper blades and now my windshield washer fluid doesn't spray. I checked to see if it was frozen over and found that the fluid tube was ripped. None of these issues had ever occurred in the 1+ years I have owned this vehicle until I took my car to get serviced at Grease Monkey. I would advise you to get your vehicle serviced somewhere else. I got ripped off here. A "Full Service" oil change is not full service. It doesn't include an oil filter not an air filter. The shop will also charge you recycling fees,making even a simple conventional oil change North of $75. The shop also tried to sell me terminal cleaning of my battery terminal on a battery that is three weeks old. In all I think the shop tried to incessantly upsell me on services my car didn't need at an outrageous price. Avoid at all costs. read more

This place is dirty and the one attendant clothing looked like an oil change. They both kept calling me " boss"? The oil change was supposed to include fluid top off's and tire checks etc. the whole process took less than ten minutes which meant they never could have checked all the included perks beyond the oil change. And I was right when I got home the coolant and washer were not filled and I assumed tires were not checked either. I was taking the vehicle cross country so it was really irritating . You get a discount and sometimes a flower on your dash just to make you feel like the special little lady that you are! I came here for my quarterly oil change this weekend. I walked in around 9am and they had me done and out the door by 9:12am. They are sooooo speedy! In that time they topped off my fluids, gave a courtesy under the hood check, told me what air filters I could replace and vacuumed my car. YES they give you a nice little vacuum in that time! They always are happy to be sure you are receiving the discounts they have floating around in the mail. They are super sweet and they don;t try and talk you into things you don't need. In fact, often I walk away feeling great about the condition of my car, because they will tell you what a great job you do of taking care of it! I've taken my vehicle here many times and have never been disappointed. A member of the staff will always come to inform you of anything they are going to do to your car. My 2018 pathfinder was serviced by them from the previous owner. When I took it to the dealership after I purchased they identified that an aftermarket plug was utilized and damaged the oil pan. Hence the oil pan had to be replaced at the dealership. I had a video of it, a car fax identifying the Grease Monkey was the last to service the vehicle and statement from Toyota dealership. At the time the car was in TX so it was not practical for Grease Money to make the repair. As well it could not be driven until repair was complete. Repair was $550 and Grease Monkey refused to pay anything. so not only is their service inferior but they customer service and warranty is worthless. read more

We stopped here to get an oil change on a road trip coming home from Breckenridge, CO. We chose this place because it was decently reviewed, and not too far from I-70. The gentleman outside (Mechanic #1) said it would be 30 minutes to wait, 20 minutes for the oil change. This seemed reasonable. He quoted $41.99, from a laminated menu with an of overview of the oil change options. A bit pricey, but given our circumstances, and the time he said it would take, we agreed. By the time we got what we needed from our car, there was only one car left in front of ours in the bay. As we started to walk away, Mechanic #1 pointed us toward the lobby and said, "We'll have you guys out of here in 45 minutes." Perfect, I thought. We walked across the street to get lunch. We come back 40 minutes later, expecting to be able to hit the road, only to find our car sitting in the same spot we left it. My patience began to wear thin. We take a seat in the lobby. Ten more minutes pass. Mechanic # 2 brings in our dirty air filter, offering to replace it for $18.99. We can buy this part and replace it ourselves for $7. No, thank you. He then subjected us to more upselling, while he reviewed the services performed and parts checked. I HATE when garages do this, generally speaking. When I was already supposed to be out the door 15 minutes ago, don't even think about it. Just don't. After we politely declined all the pricey additional services, 10 more minutes pass, Mechanic # 2 comes back in and tells us we're good to go. Great. I see on the screen the base price is now $43.99, higher than we were quoted. I point this out to him. He looks at me plainly, and says, "The price went up." Um, WTH? I firmly said to him of Mechanic #1, "He said it would be $41.99 AN HOUR AGO, when he said we'd be out of here in 45 minutes." Mechanic # 2 frantically starts moving through screens and applies a $5 coupon to bring the price down. We pay and leave, an hour and 15 minutes after we arrived. I don't recommend this Grease Monkey, unless you want to wait longer than quoted, enjoy being upsold on services you don't need, and want to be overcharged for an already an expensive oil change. Asked them to check my brakes twice in 9 months bc they seemed to be squeezing. Was told they were fine but I needed to change 2 filters. The second time I asked to check my brakes, was told "They look brand new. You should change these two filters though". To which I declined because one was JUST replaced upon last oil change. They took a look at my spare and said it was unrepairable. Nice of them! On suspicion the brakes weren't fine I took the car to Midas 3 months later. They showed me that 2 brakes were down to metal and the other 2 were badly in need of replacing. They also voluntarily and for free patched my spare tire. Checked my filters and said they didn't see a problem. NEVER GREASE MONKEY again. read more
