I wanted to praise Steven B at O'Reilly for helping me when I had a dying battery on 2/20, a recent super chilly day. Not only did he install it for me in icy weather outside, but he also convinced me to get a battery that fit in my plastic car battery tray, and not a bigger bulkier one that WOULD have given me more cold cranking amps (what you need when it's 10F or below outside), but not fit in the plastic tray. That tray provides protection for internal car components on the remote chance your battery suffers damage or starts leaking. He also suggested terminal protectors and smeared some thick goop on the terminals to prevent against that nasty crud that builds up. So really, superlative job -- glad I went here!! read more

This used to be my goto auto parts store, but........ Staff changes have affected the store. It is 1000% important that a store has well trained professionals behind the counter who are very familiar with the stock and, in this case, automobiles. Sadly this is very hard to find lately, auto parts store staff are just cashiers, really know almost nothing about cars and Jess about customer service. Oh well. This location USED to be a stand out, but apparently no more which means that instead of driving out of my way to go here, I will just go to the nearby Auto-zone. Six months ago I took my car to one of the O'reillys in Denver. I asked for and purchased a new battery. They offered to install it for me and as it was a long week of 17 hour shifts... I accepted. The technician hooked up the battery to the vehicle backwards and shorted out the entire system. I was kind. I was calm. I was understanding that humans make mistakes. After months of dealing with issue after issue after issue spurring from this initial issue I had to purchase a new battery today. When I went to remove the old battery it was discovered that the shop connected this batter with duct tape and a zip tie. I called the store and spoke to multiple managers getting increasingly more angry about this situation. (Pregnancy hormones don't help) The store manager informed me that he didn't do anything to me. As a store manager your staff's mistakes are your mistake. Either way I demanded to speak to the Regional manager. Still haven't heard from this individual. This company's service is a joke. All who are involved should be ashamed of their actions or lack there of. I will shout from the rooftops for the rest of my days how horrible this company is and will now have to take the vehicle to another shop to see what irreparable damage has been done. #notprofessionals read more

Spent over 2000$ here to buy 15qts of oil n a filter, however they upsold me on a more exspensive one, one that did not fit my truck, Now after being up sold taking a uber to the store and they tell me i have to buy the new filter as the other one is not returnable. Wtf you sold me on this so i buy the one i ORIGINALY WAS GOING TO BUY BEFORE BEING UPSOLD ON THE EXSPENSIVE FILTER THAT DOESNT WORK. First let me start by saying that the people here were actually very nice and helpful but this is mainly a manufacturing issue, I believe. I bought an alternator in September, it went out in November. It had a warranty so I got another that lasted about a week and went out again. The remanufactured parts for Suzuki obviously have some quality issues but also in ordering a factory part, the pulleys are different sizes so could be a fit issue? Anyway, beware of remanufactured parts but they are under warranty and they did refund my money though I've spent about $700 installing parts that didn't work. read more

Rap music was playing, not my taste but ok. Major problem was I was sold wrong pads had to borrow neighbors car to get replacement and the new guy was having issues finding my car in the computer. Was having issues with my car starting. Went over there, the guy tested it and said I needed a new alternator. Installed it and had exactly the same problem. Took it to my mechanic on Monday and turns out I needed a new starter, not an alternator. Mechanic suggested from now on if something happens to my car, just rent a car until I can get in to see him. Said it happens all the time where people waste money on parts they didn't need because they're desperate to get their cars fixed. If you need a mechanic, get a mechanic, not a parts salesman. read more
