That darn light came on today and the first thing I could do is panic and think about the cost to fix. As I was on a stroll back to work from lunch I yelped "Check Engine" and O'Riley's popped up on my local search. I walked in and was assisted by Stephen! He was awesome. It was raining. It was cold. Walker was closed when I arrived, late by about 10 minutes. I had…read morebeen sent here by another place down the road who suggested Walker could fix my neighbor's wiper blades for less cost. But I was too late! Not so fast. An employee walked out, laughing and joking with another who was locking the front door. I asked if they still couldn't help. The employee leaving gave me a work order he needed to give the other guy, and said, "here, keep this from him until he helps you." And that was that! Dude fixed the blades in a tshirt in the freezing rain. A little leverage and plenty of kindness and concern for the fact that I had destroyed wipers in a rainstorm, they took care of me solid here. Even pointed out that the previous mechanic had put the wipers on backwards. Well, NO WONDER! Quick review for a brief encounter, I'll be back with my own wheels once they start to have problems.. yay, car ownership.
