Anytime I've had a question about my vehicle they've always had an answer and recommendation and usually a pretty decent price for the product they're selling. My hubby and I recently moved to Grandview and I needed to get my car inspected to get all the…read morepaperwork required for MO title transfer from another state (suuuuper fun). We looked around on Google and Yelp for reviews of nearby auto shops and it seems this one has been highly recommended in reviews as trustworthy and has been around for a while. When I got there having not looked at pictures or anything, I was a bit confused. You cross the railroad tracks and there's a storage place and a white house with a chain link fence, surrounded by cars. If you pull around further there's a big blue garage with multiple doors, and a smaller entry door to the left. That's where you go in, and Don's office is to the left. I wasn't confident so I called and Steve answered. He was nice enough to come out and ensure I was in the right spot embarrassing but they treated me well regardless. Let me tell you, as a woman coming to auto shops I'm always prepared for being treated as though I don't know anything.... Definitely didn't get that vibe here at all. Everyone was super respectful and friendly. They got my car on a lift once I arrived and I meandered around the shop to stay out of the way. Even hearing how they talked with each other, there was joking around but mostly just shop talk and helping each other out. Didn't hear one cuss word either. Eventually Pat came around joking about what if they failed me on the inspection and we got to talking about a decal on my car (D&D related) with Steve. They're all nice guys and made me feel right at home. This place reminds me a lot of my grandpa's garage, just honest people doing honest service. At the end, Don told me my breaks will need some work but since it's around the holidays he assured me they should last til January. I shook his (and his mechanics) hands and thanked each of them. Needless to say, I will be back!

I had a headlamp go out last night. AutoZone was recommended to me to get new lights as it was…read moresupposed to give me 10% off as a benefit from the company I work for and this location came up as closest to me in my google search. The man behind the counter was nice but the computer froze up while searching for the headlamps that were compatible to my vehicle. He walked away to help other people while I waited. A woman then took over to help me. In a couple minutes she located the part # and talked me into two new bulbs instead of one and it cost me $43 total even with the discount, but I needed good ones. The man came out to put them in for me. It took about 30 minutes to put them in, but all is well that ends well. I had new BRIGHT headlights in about 45 minutes.
