I drove all the way from Lee's Summit to return to this O'Reilly auto parts location because the service here is outstanding! More specifically, Nathaniel is outstanding! He was the fellow that helped me last time with the washer fluid issue. Today, Nathaniel took the time to try three different sets of wiper blades on my Tesla before he found the one set which was optimal. I really appreciate this kind of customer service! It is rare these days. I will be visiting this particular O'Reilly location for all of my automotive needs in the future. read more

Depending on the location you go to you might run into a variety of different types of work here but for the most part they do hire a pretty reliable staff. I've run into she's pretty knowledgeable staff members who are willing to go to the mall to help you find what you need to keep your car afloat. I've run across staff members who are mechanics by trade who are looking for a fun job and retail without the demands that a mechanics job would require. They have tools and they're willing to give you a hand if need be. Personally I believe these guys deserve a five star rating. read more

Had a great experience at this location thanks to laj I hope I spelled that right but needed my rotors turned they were to low in spec to do so. Today my car broke down on state line and with help limped it over to the OReilly location, car smoking on State Line with the help of a young stranger, also of color, who walked in with me to get some coolant he thought might help . We asked for help to check levels of fluids and were told "no". When the stranger realized I needed a tow, and could get help, he left and I sat in the OReilly store parking lot in my broken vehicle by myself, a woman of color, for 3 + hours where no one from the store even checked to see if I was ok. However I watched the same OReilly person help 3 white customers checking levels, lending funnels, etc. I called to complain and the person said he wasn't a car shop, didn't see me, didn't know I was there for 3 hours etc. None of this is true. I guess they only provide help for everyone but me. I am truly saddened and disappointed. read more

An entire star goes to the boy that helped me change my tail light. Thanks, man. Two other times I have been told they are not staffed to help me with my car. One time was by an employee that was not doing anything besides standing behind the register. No other customers around. I called today for help with my battery and asked if they could still help me if I brought the car in at 8:30pm. She said they could test the battery, but would not replace it. They are understaffed after 5:30pm. read more

I had a headlight out and this place was the closest parts store to me. I've used an O'Reilly's before in other locations so I felt ok about going here. At first I thought the counter guy was not real familiar with cars because he thought my Passat was a Toyota instead of a VW, but we talked about whether or not I should get one bulb or two and I opted for two new ones for $50. There were cheaper ones but since I drive professionally for my livelihood, I wanted the ones that would give me more feet of lighted area ahead and I didn't want to have to stop in again for another bulb on the "good" side. I asked if he could help me put them in and he he did so willingly. I don't feel they are obligated in any way and I appreciate it if they can do this. A second guy came outside and between them they got both bulbs installed. Voila! I did tip them. Another benefit of O'Reilly's is that I signed up for an account so that all my purchases can be looked up online if I need that info for taxes later. It will definitely encourage me to buy wiper fluid and accessories here. read more

Deplorable customer service. If you don't want to read my story, just know that the manager, Jeff, told me that I would be better off buying the part I needed online. I was looking for two stabilizer links for my car. One employee said one was in Oklahoma, would be here the next day and that he would call me. The next day rolls around and I stop in even though I haven't gotten a call. Thankfully the part is there. Then he orders one from Texas and he says he will call me when it gets in. I never get a call so I come in four days later. The employee that helps me has holes in his O'Reilly T-shirt and an attitude to match. I tell him what I ordered and he brings me a part that has a different box than what I originally had. I ask him to verify that it will fit my car and he looks as if I asked him to cut his foot off. After spending five minutes on the computer, he tells me that the part he had tried to sell me would not fit my car. He yells, "Jeff!" and a manager comes out and looks at the computer and tells me I should order it online. So, folks, even the manager says that shopping at his store for anything more than oil and car scents is basically going to be a pain. read more

The only employee I saw behind the counter was on his cell phone talking through a headset to his friend. He was going back and forth talking to me about a part and his friend about his girl problems; including some telling his friend about some girl "up on my lap". Totally unprofessional, the part I went in to buy was substantially cheaper at Oreilly's but I went on to buy it at another location due to this employee. Update: I did talk with the district manager who agreed with me about how unprofessional the employee was. Hopefully appropriate action will be taken to stop this from happening in the future. read more

These workers here are very knowledgeable about anything ive ever had to ask them regarding my cars. They take plenty of time to help me find the right answers so that anyone who is not as familiar with cars like me could understand. These people even know where to send you if you if they know other places and people who can help you out. For example, they helped me find a place where I could get a car seat for an old nissan and they even told me how simple it would be to install it. They're the best! read more
