Got a vehicle serviced there today. Had talked at dropoff about the engine light. Tech said they would have to run diagnostics. Given we were already there I assumed, as most reasonable people would, that meant they would do it as part of my visit today. No. When I picked it up they had not run anything (they did do the maintenance requested) and said that would be a separate appointment. Go figure. A service department connected to a dealership misleading you about what to expect. That NEVER happens right? Well I can tell you what will NEVER happen again. I will NEVER take another vehicle there for service and if I ever decide to shop for another Ford I will NEVER get it from that dealer. Period read more

My family owns four Fords. We have been taking our cars to Olathe Ford for service. My older son leased a Ford from Olathe Ford. My other son has an older Ford fusion. Last year he was quoted an excessive price over $2,000 for a timing belt and we opted to take it somewhere else. Recently, my son brought back his fusion and was quoted over $2000 to replace a valve gasket which is crazy. They also quoted $500 for a battery. Is this amazing! So much for brand loyalty read more

We are on the road on a driving trip and lost our GPS and link. I called the Olathe Lincoln service department to see if they could do a quick check on it, since we are so far away from home. The service rep was quite rude and basically told me to not bother coming in because they are so busy. You stuck on the road made no difference to him. And if we came in there would be no guarantee they can provide any assistance. Quite a response. Certainly this is not a place I would ever do business with. read more

Besides from getting overpriced, the technician left my cloth seat drenched in sweat and smelling like b/o. When returning to see if they could help, the service advisor looked at the seat and claimed he didn't see or smell anything. He went to ask the technician and lied to me saying he didn't have a drip of sweat on him. Had to get my truck detailed due to the smell, $150 for the detail paid myself. Terrible customer service and caused more of a headache for me, will not be returnin. read more

Was quoted a price to replace my ball joints. 1200. I went in it was 1400. So I went ahead. Told me my truck would be ready at 12 the next day. Didnt get it till 3 days later. Parts problem. But they told me they had parts in stock. Then to top it off I get charged 80 for shop towels and the like and then when I used my card they charge me 42 surcharge. Never said anything about it. I would have written a check. Didnt know until I picked up my truck after hours and no one was there. read more

I've used them for services for years. I have never left happy with my services. They don't honor loaners, even when confirmed. This has happened multiple times. I usually end up coming in more than once to fix the problem. I ended up having to trade in my last Explorer because they made a $5,000 repair and it still didn't run correctly. Last straw when they don't communicate with the actual Ford app and had no record of the check engine appointment and told me sorry can't do it because it's too late in the day. So far, so good. Used to take my truck to another Ford dealer in OP, (guess who B.A?), because it's close and that's where I bought my truck brand new. Well, after getting absolutely terrible service, availability, and a truck left with rattles in the dash after the 7 attempts to fix my A/C, I started going to Olathe Ford Lincoln one day when I was nearby and needed an oil change. First of all I went on a Saturday and they got me right in, no appointment needed. Extremely courteous and respectful employees. Kept me notified by text while I waited. Completed the job quickly and I was on my way so I started going there for my service. Recently my rear brakes and A/C needed service. I live about 8 miles away and they provided an Uber to take me home and pick me up again when the work was finished. It's nice to feel appreciated for bringing my business to them. read more

ZERO STARS Update: I was contacted by someone from Olathe Lincoln and told that their GM Mario Washington would be contacting me. They just add that to bad reviews to give the appearance that they give a sh*t. They don't. Weeks later and it never Happened. Surprise. Definitely Do Not Recommend! Do Not Recommend! Arrived on the lot after a 30-minute drive to find that out that of the SEVEN cars of the model I am looking for that ARE LISTED for sale on their website, only ONE was actually available. Johnathon shuffled off to find it. After 15 minutes, (not an exaggeration) he brought back a car so filthy inside and out that I would have been embarrassed to show it to a customer. Mind, this was only a three-year-old car priced at $60,000.00+. That he would even show me that vehicle told me all I needed to know about how I was going to be treated by Johnathon and Olathe Lincoln. The one I really drove 30 minutes to see I was told was the "owner's daughter's car", and that she was going to drive it until her new 2024 came it. Well, la-di-da-da. How nice for her. I was not happy. The salesman said that he had mentioned to whomever that it should not be listed for sale. Can you say, "bait and switch". My last two cars were from Aristocrat, I'm just looking for a bigger vehicle now. Olathe Lincoln potentially missed out on at least a couple of sales over time. Possibly more if I was able to pass on positive feedback to my family and friends. As it stands now, I will tell everyone I know that I had a horrible experience at Olathe Lincoln. This is the second time I leave my car to get serviced here and got bad things installed back to the car wrong. Got a weird engine warning, they put in the device to run diagnostics said that everything was good but I insisted this warning came up on the dashboard. All they could do was run a more in-depth diagnostics which is expensive. They found engine problems which meant engine replacement. Found out all suv ecoboost engines have this problem. I left with my car and looked at options to sell. The next day there is an outside leak. Turns out they didn't install the parts well after doing the diagnostics on the engine. So now I have a faulty engine and an extra leak. read more

We took our 2022 Lincoln Aviator in to have an emblem replaced, a recall repair, and a full service and tire rotation. We did not require Lincoln to pick up the car as part of The Lincoln experience, we delivered it and took the loaner a nice Corsair, we replaced the gas we used too. We were kept informed of when the car was ready and picked it up at 5pm. On the way home the low pressure light came on while we were on 435, fortunately I am retired from the tire business and saw that the rear pressures were still at the front pressure specification. It was clear to me that they rotated the tires and did not even check the tire pressures much less set them to Lincoln specifications. So here I am 30 minutes away adjusting the pressure myself, fortunately I have am air compressor. When I called the service advisor his comment was that is not good and he would inform the service manager. This could have been a safety issue since the car us a plug in hybrid with a large battery and the rear tires under inflated. read more

Eric the sales manager was very unprofessional and told me to go buy a truck from somewhere else after we had already agreed on a trade value for a new purchase. He later tried to add on dealer trade fee and lot package after the fact by lowering the already agreed on trade value. This was a truck already on their lot why would I pay their dealer trade fee? When I objected to the fees he told me it's not going to work out and he hung up on me and won't answer my calls. Also was giving me different trade values based on what new vehicle I was buying. Not customer oriented at all. I will update this review after I speak to the general manager. They are also aware that I'm a Ford employee but I guess that doesn't matter either. This review is on the management and employment at Olathe Ford. I feel it's important for people to know how they treat their employees. My son a very shy quiet first year straight A college student started working there a few weeks ago hoping to work his way up with their company & start a long successful career with them but then he was wrongfully fired. He is currently working on his auto tech degree & previously worked at Orielly's for over a year. He was never late & never called in. He then was hired at Ford starting as a porter so he was perfect for this job. He did exactly what they trained & told him to do but then was let go for sitting to much. He was sitting just like the other porters were doing because he had just checked to see if there was anything that he knew he could do when they weren't busy & he thought everything was done already & he saw the other porters sitting so he sat with them. He told them that & was told to find something to do. Keep in mind he has only been there a few weeks so this is all new to him. He would of gladly done anything they would told or asked him to do. Seems a little harsh to fire a new kid for not knowing what to do & doing the same thing the other porters were doing. Not sure why he wouldn't of been given another chance or told what exactly he should be doing. He could of been one of your best employees with some good training and someone helping him in the right direction. He is a young shy 18 year old kid at new job trying to build himself a career which apparently Ford had no desire to help with. Reply to below.. I wouldn't of done this without his knowledge. Nothing to discuss. Just reviewing your company. To fire a NEW kid for not knowing what to do exactly & doing the same thing the other porters do without a warning is shitty. Our vehicle broke down due to a known recall item. We were told it was covered by the recall but they "were only doing a couple of these a day, and the soonest they would get us in was march 20" or something like that. The car cannot be driven and they want it to sit on the street for 5 months. I've had many fords and I only go there if absolutely necessary as their service department is either too busy to be bothered or is poorly run. Highly recommend finding another dealer. read more

Had my truck towed to them. Everyone from the service writer, receptionist and porter were very pleasant. I think my truck is in good hands. Update: not sure what happened here but what the heck. First I'm told truck is in the bay being worked on. Then I get a call at the EOD saying oops sorry the part wasn't ordered. But you said it's being worked on? Next day I'm told truck is ready and i go to get it. Almost wrecked my truck because the brake pedal went to the floor as I was trying to leave. Oops, sorry maybe bubble in line. Need it for another day. Tuesday to Saturday for a brake line? How can they not know the brakes weren't right before giving it back? This could have ended badly. Smiles and BS. If I can help it I will not go back there. Not a happy customer. Sept 2020: I made the mistake of taking their offer of a free oil change, wash and vacuum. I got a call about an hour or so after it was picked up. Somehow my truck had rolled out of the shop with the door open and was now damaged. Service manager explaining to me that they're gonna fix the door and they're gonna need it for a week. They sent out a vehicle for me to use. To my disgust and anger there is a pamphlet on slavery in the back seat of the vehicle they deliver. I could believe that a dealership would just let something like that go by. I called and asked what the heck. Went to pick up my truck on Saturday 26th Since they said it was ready. The body work was done. The truck was Dirtier on the inside and the gas tank was not filled like they said they were going to do. From the operations manager, service manager, shop manager, Service advisor all I got was lip service and hollow promises. It is appalling to me the number of "mistakes/accident" that was made on my vehicle every time I've been in this dealership. There is absolutely no excuse unless there is a problem with me as a black man bring my vehicle to them. The brochure was the final straw for this person. I don't know if my oil was changed but I'll be getting it taken care of somewhere else and the interior cleaned. I would add a photo of the brochure but I can't figure that out. Keep trying myself not to post a review , but now I need too . We are a non profit with several trucks on the fleet . Not only that this dealership (commercial service unit) don't pay attention when service is done (30k miles, 60k miles ) to do what supposed to be done , but I have to tell them to change air filters (they forgot after that to clamp them back having a horrible noise ) have to tell them to do tire rotation , wiper blade replacement . Told them that was a noise coming from engine , they were keep saying that is nothing , after 10 days of research and blocking this van , of course was like me , was a fricking timing belt . Every time I call for a regular oil change they are telling me I DO NOT NEED appointment , going there they are telling me I need an appointment . Horrible experience read more

I took my Lincoln Aviator to the dealership because the check engine light came on. After fixing the vacuum line they took it upon themselves to change out all the spark plugs, ignition coils & wires in the engine because I asked them to check why my mileage was decreasing! I took my F150 to Olathe Ford for an oil change and tire rotation/balance on 9/9/2023. After picking up my truck and heading home I discovered the sticker on my windshield had not been updated to note when my next oil change was due. Upon further review we found the tire "rotation" had not been done correctly and per the owners manual. The tire on the right front had been placed on the left front instead of being moved to the left rear as called for. Who knows where the other tires ended up, but at least they were back on my truck. And then to top it all off, the valve stem cap was not replaced on one of my tires. It was there when the truck went into Olathe Ford service as I had just checked my tire pressure the day before. Based on this level of service and attention to detail, one has to seriously question whether Olathe Ford can be trusted to do quality work in their service department. 9/21/2023 Update: A Mario Washington called me and left a voice msg. Mario noted he was the general manager for Olathe Ford and asked I call him back to discuss the very poor service I received. I returned Mario's call on 9/18/2023 and left him a voice message noting I was returning his call. As of this update, I'm yet to hear from him. It's becoming painfully obvious why Olathe Ford has a 3.3 out of 5 star rating as they really don't seem to care a lick about customers once they've gotten paid. I have been coming to Olathe Ford since I bought my car in 2016. I came for regular oil changes and other services needed. Unfortunately, I will never return to Olathe Ford or any Ford if possible. I have just had the worst experience here regarding my car. I had my car towed here when it died over memorial weekend. The manager of the shop called me next business day to inform me that no one could look at my car until the next week but it sounds like transmission and if that was the case they couldn't even begin to work on it for three months. I called and said I was taking to a different place because they could get my car in and the turn around was 7 business days. When I went to go get my car The manager told me I will have to pay for my diagnostic that he could not give me until the next day. I asked him what he was talking about because he has just told me that no one could look at it until the next week. He said he didn't know someone looked at it and the techs computer crashed so he had no way of contacting him until the tech left for the night. He then told me about how much it would cost and why it will take so long, they are understaffed which is understandable. He then said that Ford would help me pay for my services then in the same breath say they can't help me. He was going back and forth and I was getting frustrated. When he told me how long it would take Ford to fix the transmission I asked if they would give me a loaner car, to which he snapped at me and said, "look around at my lot! Does it look like I have a car to give you?!" Unprofessional. So I pay for the diagnostics that he never gave me a physical copy of and went to get my car towed to a different shop. When I went back to the lot where my car was the back window was all the way down for no apparent reason. Unbelievable. I took my car to the shop where Ford told me they wouldn't be able to fix it (in an attempt to get me to leave my car with Ford). The other business had my car for a total of five days and labor, diagnostics, parts, and a 5 year warranty cost LESS than what Fords minimum would have been. Ford told me my warranty that I paid extra for when I purchased my car was no good by a few miles. I would have left my car with Ford had it not been for the horrible way they treated me and made me feel like I was being scammed. Ford has lost a valuable customer. read more

I'd give it 0 stars if possible. Mike is the Maintenance department was completely rude and unwilling to help us with our situation. Would recommend going elsewhere if you're having transmission issues. Certified transmission 2000 cheap with a 5 year warranty compared to fords almost 8000 rebuilt transmission with one year warranty. Not only did they say with would be a minimum of 3/12 months to get our car we would not be able to get a loaner. Certified took 6 days.... Will not be going to Ford again read more

I have tried this place since 2012 and like a fool kept going back. The Quick Lane did the following on different occasions to my 2012 F-150 Lariat during oil changes... Broke Air Cleaner Sensor (offered to clue it); Did not put the Air Filter back on correctly (truck left me stranded until I figured out the problem); Did not put the Air Filter on correctly and got a check engine light on before leaving the parking lot; Did not screw the oil filter on all the way and leaked in my garage (I crawled under the vehicle and tightened it by hand); Got oil all over my oil pressure sensor and truck warned me that I had no oil pressure, left me stranded 6 miles from home (they cleaned it after the weekend). Wanted to have the rear Diff. repaired and took them 4 days to get parts just to start on it, but the price quotes kept going up (even before they took the rear diff. plate off or did any work). Decided to trade it for a new one. I went to drive one they had on the internet, but they had sent it back to the auction house because it was scratched but didn't tell me until I made plans to be there. The next one was sold while I was looking at it by another salesman, I had to be out of town but called the salesman and told him I would pick the one up off of the show room floor that evening or on Monday, but they sold it and never called me. I called them on my way back to town 4 hours after they told me they would call me back with the final numbers. They told me they would get one for me, but I went somewhere else and bought a 2018 Lariat. This was the beginning of Dec., 2018, Olathe Ford still has not called me. I will never step foot in this place again. The Quick Lane, per their manager has a bunch of kids learning to be mechanics working there, the Ford Service side is ok, but the team that checks the vehicle in is not very thorough and poor communications, you will have to call them, they will not call you back. The Parts Department can't even get parts to the Ford Service in a timely manner, they should join Amazon Prime. The Sales is complacent and not eager to help or call a potential buyer back. And this is not because of price, we never got to any negotiations. read more

It took 3 weeks for us to get an appointment for some service work and we took it in this morning at our scheduled time and this afternoon we called to get a status update and our car hasn't even been looked at 6 hours later, so we are asking a relative to use his car as this is our only car and they have no loaners to offer. They could have told us this morning or prior to drop off they still had cars to service from last week and we could have made arrangements for another day. Horrible customer service.
