Back in january twenty twenty two I bought my cadillac x t four from this dealership brand new. When I got the car and drove it home within an hour.I noticed all the oil had leaked out from the car. I called the dealer and they told me to drive the car in and not have it towed, which I did. I believe this is when most of the problems started with this car. Last year I received a notice that the car has an issue with the check engine light. And just this past week that light came on when I called cadillac to inquire about the free service to get it fixed, they told me i'm over mileage.Now, and they will not help me whatsoever. I feel that this dealership.It sold me a defected car, a real lemon. Every time I complain they didn't care. I'm one instance.I took the car to get its routine oil service which should have taken forty minutes since I was the first customer at the dealership. After waiting five hours with ridiculous apologies, they finally got the car done. I would never buy a Cadillac again. After reading the MANY 1 star reviews for La Quinta Chevrolet Cadillac maintenance department, I know we dodged a bullet. We came in to just take a quick 15 - 20 minute look at the new and used Escalades, but we were diverted over and over again by the sales department to force us to stay for an hour and a half. The sales team and manager wanted to look over our trade in vehicle which they said would take a couple minutes. We sat, and sat, and sat waiting at Sergio's desk until eventually we were told that the manager needed to drive our car around the block to test it out. I told them only if that takes 5 more minutes. A half hour went by and we were held hostage because they had our keys. We reiterated that this was supposed to be a quick in and out because we had other dealerships we wanted to quickly visit that day. Then the sales manager swooped in and started drawing costs in boxes on a piece of paper, and we just wanted to get the heck out of there. The initial salesperson, Sergio, was a nice enough guy, but we resent being worked over by this crew of vultures. We would have been purchasing an extended warranty with the vehicle, but thank goodness we didn't buy as the many Yelp reviews make it very clear that you will get the run around, your time wasted, your deposits for parts that never arrive not refunded, and faulty repairs. This business continues to fail at some very basic car lot concepts. I enjoyed purchasing my Chevy there 3+ years ago, but the service department is off-the-charts ZERO in customer service. (5-star sales, 0-star service= 2-star review) If you care: Service over last 3 years of my car~ first oil change took 3 visits before they got it right, wasting my time over and over again. Next 2 oil changes were good. My battery just needed replacement and they are no help in towing or jumping it, but will gladly charge me $55 once I bring my car in, although they couldn't even estimate the cost of a new battery. Unfortunately there are not many Chevy dealers in the area however you will save time and energy by going elsewhere. They never respect your time or your appointment and every time you walk in, they are inconvenienced by your arrival. Average wait for service is about 2 1/2 hours regardless of requesting a car wash or not. Worst service department in history. If I could give a negative star I would have. I understand it's out of a dealerships control of the car I purchased is a huge pile of shit "Cadillac Escalade diesel 150k" but my car has 5k miles on it and I have been here already 3 separate times for the same issue. 1st time they told me it was a recall things would be fixed just fine. 2nd time I came back same code was displayed and they told me the recall was not the problem that the def system actually needed to be fixed. I show up for service that day after literally speaking to the service rep the night before telling him I would be waiting for the car as I live 2hrs away. They tell me they didn't have a diesel mechanic available right then to work on it. I spent 8.5 hours waiting for the car. They didn't even start working on the vehicle until 4.5 hours after I arrived. Today and my 3rd visit I made sure I arranged to drop my vehicle and get a loaner car so I would not have to wait another 8.5 hours for them to address the same issues I have been here now 3 times for, and they make me wait in the waiting room because the 1 person that does loaners is on lunch and that they might not even have a loaner car for me after literally just speaking with the service rep the night before and him telling me I would get a loaner car. Now I have to be taken to hertz to get a rental car, and waste another 45/1hr of my time at this pos hertz that looks like it shouldn't even be a rental car business. LA Quinta Cadillac is a joke and is literally a service nightmare!!! Stay as far away from this place as possible. read more

I would recommend that you don't use this service department for Cadillac. I had my car serviced there about six months ago and at that time my service advisor was so rude that I was not going to return but when I was signing the paperwork the advisor informed me that they had a special oil change program 3 oil changes for a good price so I agreed. Recently I have tried to get in for my second service only to be told no times were available for weeks. Now a week ago I finally got an appointment for 3:00pm today. I was on time at 3:00pm and the same service advisor was still assigned to my car. He informed me that I would have my car finished at 3:45pm. At 3:45pm I went to the service advisor and saw my car in the same spot I left it 45 minutes prior and was told they were too busy to work on my car. Understandably I was not happy with this situation. It seems to me that once they sell you the 3 oil changes for this special price they have no intention of providing you with the second and third oil service. Certainly not very professional. Obviously I will find another company to service my car in the future. I asked for a check for the remaining amount of the two services not received. I guess I will see if this happens. read more
