This place is the worst. Every time I come in here, I leave upset. I do my homework. I know exactly what part I need before I come, and I always check the site to make sure it's in stock. I arrive with a part number, and after standing around for 10 minutes, it's never in stock. Okay, let me actually order it from the site. I get the email that it's ready for pickup. I show up, and they can't find my order (surprise!). Instead of helping me to purchase what I need, they leave me standing there like a fool while they go and help other customers and ignore me. Employees are extremely rude and confrontational. Absolutely unacceptable. Never spending a dollar at any O'Reilly's for the rest of my life. read more

They didn't want to come out and scan my car so that I can go and spend money at their store. There was two workers up front.(They had the ability to step outside),and scan the car and come back in so that I can decide upon what parts I wanted and needed to grab. I was already going to spend $60 on top of the stuff I needed from the scan results. They said for me to come back an hour to two hours later. Less then 12 minute drive later to another store who happily accepted to come out scan and take care of my needs. And I spent over $120 at another store. Because the lack of the customer service I will never coming back to this location again. Even if it was/is convenient time and location. read more

He inputted the information and told me the price and left to do something else. He then comes back and asks me if I want it or not and answers the phone. this place is so unprofessional I bough a battery from them, and died on me so. I when to see if they can can fix the problem they told me they need it charge it for two hours. I've been in here a handful of times since I moved back into the neighborhood. The one thing I can say about this place is that it has great customer service. I've dealt with a couple different employees here and each one of them has been extremely helpful. It's pretty convenient that I can just log in online, find the part I need, buy it online, and pick it up at the store. I've done that a couple times and it's totally simple and hassle free. One of the employees was really friendly and actually helped me find an obscure model of windshield wiper that I needed, and then proceeded to help me install them in the parking. Hello, I was having a rough morning last week with constant car issues and eventually it got to the point my car wasn't starting. It was extremely early in the morning and I was in a panic, worried I would not make it to work in time. I believe his name is Michael, an older gentleman, he was extremely helpful and saved me from so much headache. He was informative on the difference between each part and explained future maintenance. I don't know much about cars, so he assisted me with installation as well. I had called the O'Reilly's in my town but they stated they would need to order the part. I asked if they could check their other locations nearby to see if the part was in stock. The listing showed the Lathrop store had it in stock. I called that location and spoke with Mary. She looked the part up and stated it showed they had it but wanted to make sure it really was in stock. She put me on hold to check. She came back quickly and verified in fact they did have the part. I asked her if she could put it on hold and she stated sure and asked when I would be in to pick it up. I gave her an approximate time and she asked for my name and said it would be on hold for me. Later in the day I went there and as promised was on hold and at the price stated on the phone. It was a seamless process and very satisfied with the process and Mary's helpfulness. read more

Came into the store with the check engine light on. Not knowing where to connect the computer, Matt came out with his upstanding customer service. He helped me figure out where to connect his computer to my car's computer and figured out the problem. He went out of his way, came outside and got on the floor and connected his computer to my car to check what the problem was. I don't usually write reviews but I wanted to make sure I gave honor where honor was due! This morning My wife and I pulled over into a parking lot to take a quick nap. We had a long drive and hadn't slept, and when we woke up the car would not start. Thank God we happened to pull into a parking lot next to O'Reillys and a very helpful man by the name of Michael was quick to take a look at our car. He noticed it probably needed a jump start and brought his truck over when the machine didn't work. He then suggested to run a report to make sure we wouldn't have any trouble on the road. Thank you Michael for your concern for our safety. As we left, we over heard another man who pulled up asking for help with his car trouble. how is this store still in business? they always have boxes and totes full of items needed to be stocked on the floor. there are so many missing items on the shelves and I'm assuming they are in the totes. the inventory numbers are constantly off and it takes them too long to find things I ordered earlier in the day. this store never has enough people to help the customers in a timely manner. they took a store manager who knew how to manage and replaced him with someone who can't find a simple order in her own store. do not go here, go to the one in manteca with good management. read more

Dropped off my rear rotors at 1045. I was told I had 1 rotor before mine were to be started. Came back at 1pm to be told they haven't been started. No biggie I had to do an oil change and install my front brakes, I wasn't going to lose any work time. Came back in at 3pm my second wasn't complete needed an additional 15/20 min.
