My expectations for a normal do it yourself oil change keep me coming back to the Luck of the 0'Reilly Auto Parts Locations in Oahu and now here on Kauai. Having shipped my 2012 Toyota Prius over to the garden Island knowing my oil change was overdue had me heading toward the green shamrock auto care specialists. A special touch of a high Five Star service was receiving a hand shake, heart felt thanks for my service and a discount towards my purchase for my service as a Military Veteran. Free battery check, alternator... This is where I go for EVERYTHING! These guys help you! They get their hands dirty under the hood to access... and help with the issue. My safety did not pass because the battery holder was somewhat loose... and WOW! The tech there just pulled my battery, put the new holder below and then the screws were too long... he just sawed 'em off! Crazy! Safety got picky on a lot of things lately. My front light had a sealed-up crack and little moisture beads got in... would not pass me. The emergency light inside car did not go on... who cares! WE don't need a light to tell us the EMERGENCY brake is on!!!!!! The same tech, took care of it all. Got the headlamp used and it was brand new. Light is either a fuse, he looked at those. Simple things for those techs but not simple for me. Any problem, I go in there. My window washer fluid just stopped working...he just clipped the end, attached it back in, under the hood material, I had no clue it even came from there, and didn't need to buy a connector of longer piping. Because this place saves me money, I buy my floor mats, windshield washer, shop towels, wax. I buy what i can for my car there. It's great to get a wax in the color of your care, fills in scratches, they can order anything in for you that is not on the shelf. The same guy usually helps me, in the pics he the shortest one, Irish looking but local. Talks about his family often... super nice guy. Everyone in here, as you can see another tech is helping a lady, with a trunk full of... something, and he is trying to help her light work. They are all this nice. And this was closing time, dark outside. I was in there again, for my new car, buying a film shade for my window. They sent me to Kalaheo for an expert to put in on. So off I went that week and got 3 windows done for only 120.00. Keeps 70% of the sun out. I get the best advise here! They even returned a muffler I never used because i sold that car, and i don't even think i had a receipt, but i was in the computer for it. So nice. Tons of Aloha here. read more

Terrible customer service!!! I went in this store yesterday. There was one young guy out front trying to help customers, while 2 or 3 other employees were in the back behind the curtain laughing and just talking. After standing at the counter for 10 minutes waiting for help to make my purchase, I finally just left the items on the counter and left. I will not be going back to this store again. read more

Poor customer service!! Went in for a part for my truck and one of the workers me. Went to put the part on my truck and it was the wrong one. With my truck apart, I called the store. The first time I called no one answered. I tried to call again and someone picked up the phone and hung it up. Called a second time and the girl finally answered. When I tried to explain my situation the worker tried to blame me that I bought the wrong part and kept arguing with me. This is by far the worst customer service I had at this place. I would come here because it's close to where I live. I'm so glad that Autozone opened up shop on Kauai. I don't mind driving the extra miles to Kapaa until the Lihue Autozone opens up. read more

Had a very good experience in this store. First I called in to see if they had what I needed. I spoke to a very helpful young man named Daniel who checked their stock to see if they had what was required for my vehicle. After a brief moment on hold, Daniel was back with the answer and gave me the item# so i could do do a price check elsewhere. When I went to the store to pick up the part I asked for Daniel and he was right there and remembered me from our earlier phone conversation. I purchased the part and he gave me my Military discount as well as helped me put it on my car in minutes. Overall i am very pleased with how he treated me and helped me solve my problem.
