On a recent trip to Merced, when it came time to drive back to the Bay Area, my oil light came on. OHMYGODWHATDOIDO? I pulled into a gas station, they checked my oil (after an awkward moment of not knowing how to pop the hood- gah!) and told me that yes, shit was serious and I needed an oil that they didn't have. Thankfully O'Reilly's was nearby. The guy at the counter went out of his way to help me look up the right oil for my car, and even poured the oil in for me after I bought it. He was pleasant and professional and I made it home all right! read more

Ordered online for curbside pickup at 10:27 am on August 15, 2020. I was sent an email stating I would be sent another email notifying me to pick up. 12:50 p.m. I contact corporate and asked how long does it normally take for curbside pick-up. After a 20 minute wait i get an answer. They replied it takes about an hour. I was asked to call and ask. After calling in I was told to wait another 30 minutes as they got the parts I needed. I would understand if the store was extremely busy , but it wasn't. Not going to that store any longer. read more

Bought my battery here under the same number I have had for 10+ years and they say I don't have a warranty and I didn't buy my battery from them, yet it's a super start and that's only the O'Reilly brand. Whoever I bought the battery from less than a year ago clearly took down the wrong phone number and now I'm screwed because of their mistake. They also said I had a battery on file for a truck, mind you, I've never owned a truck in my life, SMH, so disappointing with crappy service. They don't like to help and are rude. If you don't like your job then don't work there and make the customer side of things not pleasant enough to even want to go back. read more

I purchased some tire chains here. The clerk was friendly and helpful, and informed me that if I did not use the chains I could get a full refund. When I returned the unused chains 3 days later I was told my credit card was credited for the amount of chains. Again, he was friendly and managed to get me to overlook the fact that he didn't give me written receipt indicating my card was credited. A month later when I get my statement the credit was not made for the $60 amount. Be aware that when you're tired from a day of driving you are more vulnerable to getting taken, so state alert...especially at O'Reilly Auto Parts. read more

Due to the Covid-19 situation, I decided to purchase a battery and use curbside pickup. Order was to be ready in 3 hours. Never got a notice. I called when it was to be ready only to be told it wouldn't be ready till the following day and they would send an e-mail when ready. Never got an e-mail. Called again and was told it was ready. When I picked up order, I was met with attitude from employee (Joel). Also, he wouldn't accept my core battery unless I went in store. Defeating the whole purpose of curbside pickup. Very rude. This was the O'Reilly Auto Parts at the corner of Montana and McRae in El Paso, TX. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Had a throttle body fail on 99 and sourced the problem to a bad gasket. These guys were the only ones in town with the part, and one of the reps was a chevy guy who walked me through the problem. Ended up paying way less than at other shops. Unfortunately they don't pull engine codes but whatever, no biggie read more

They rip you off here! They say they price match so we went in and told them where we were quoted a lower price. He says he'll call, does, and says they told him $102 instead of the $72 they told us, so no deal. We left, called the location he called, asked for the person he said by name and that guys says no one called him and they charge $72. We totally got played by the jack wagon! Skip this location and go to the other one in town. read more
