Since they moved to Main Street (building over. From R st location) their team has become terrible. They started out good at their new location were very helpful and friendly. Now there is a bunch of new team member that have bad attitudes and have no recommendations for car parts. I'm not going to this location anymore due to their uneducated and miserable team. Went into Autozone for a brake light bulb and the employee was helpful and courteous. I had the old bulb info but the employee was not able to locate the replacement with that info, so he waited while I made a call and got the auto's info and then was successfully able to locate the bulb. He even retrieved it from the aisle for me. There was no line when I went in so my visit was very short and sweet. read more

This place blows. There were three parts men. One helped one customer, while two ran their mouths, used their phones, and ignored me. The one with a customer finished up, but he kept socializing with the customer. very unprofessional. I felt like I would have been helped much sooner if I looked like them. They acted as if I was invisible. I will go out of my way to avoid this place. read more

Autozone in Hollywood Florida 1530 federal hwy. they sold me used motor oil, and I had already drained out the old and srarted pouring it in when I noticed. called the manager and he said well that happens because we take used oil, said he would be there and supply me with 8 new quarts, so I had to put in the used oil to drive to store. when I arrived Angel at the counter acted like he didn't know but he lied about the manager not being there than changed his story to he knew and the manager said he could re-place 5 quarts, threatened to throw me out for being upset and accused me of lying after manager had acknowledged that he knew they ripped me off. I expected an apology for my inconvenience but instead was accused of lying. this whole experience was ridiculous and the manager should be fired.. I have spent thousands of dollars at auto zone but will never shop there again. read more

I am actually so confused by the interaction I just had at this location. When I called, the guy I spoke to was super personable and super helpful and then I come in to pick up my order and deal with some dude who was either too tired to have a personality or just having a bad day period. Really seemed to have quite the chip on his shoulder and had a bad attitude for literally no reason. It seemed to be super bothersome to double check that my battery was a match and then when I do get all checked out he puts the battery on top of one of those janky metal carts and pushes it towards me so I go to lift it off (not realizing that it's a good 40lbs) and some other guy goes "you can take the cart out".. So no, I hefted it and walked out. My husband was so angry about the whole situation that he called and the manager said he was right there the whole time and that "there was no issue" and that he offered to take it to my car for me lol First of all, there was no issue because I didn't make any issues. Secondly, allowing me to take the cart out is not the same as someone bringing it to my car so that was a lie. The absolute best part and icing on the cake was that after all of that grief, it WAS the WRONG BATTERY!!! They sold me the wrong battery for my car!! The stupidity is astounding. They tell you they have the part your looking for and when you go in-store to get it they tell you they don't have it. A lot of careless employees and half the employees there don't know the first thing about cars. Seems like checking a computer is different for them. The group of workers was very helpful when my car died. They checked my battery and let me know the battery was dead than they gave me a charge to start it. I couldn't recall the where the battery I had was purchased and the worker let me know it was oreillys and that I would probably get a discount if I went there since there was still warranty. I would like to start off by saying I usually have had bad experiences with this auto zone.. I have ordered parts from here a few times and each time its the wrong part or they take a month or more to come in where I just end up going to pep boyz and being charged up the ass basically.. I don't like kragen cuz the guy suggested to put regular conventional oil in my BMW that takes nothing but synthetic.. Well I ended up at the place I love to hate because I blew a bulb in my head lights and was stopped by the fuzz and had to fix it or pay stupid fines that no one wants to deal with.. I swear if I needed something else I would be SOL but since its a common item like an bulb they was in stock and sent me on my happy tipsy way.. hahahahaa.. I'm fortunate enough that I don't normally find myself having to go to an auto parts store for much of anything...but when my van's battery died, it was time to go. Well, I knew I was going to spend about $100, so that wasn't a big deal. I've shopped here before and never had a bad experience, so I had no reason not to go. Well, when I went to change out the battery, things got a little tricky...I had lost one of the lock nuts that held the plate down which kept the battery from moving around. Try as I might, that thing was missing...gone. I went back in to the store to see if perhaps the guys behind the counter had a spare nut, but they stated they did not. So, after about 30 minutes looking for this thing, the shift manager comes out with several packs of lock nuts just so we could find the exact one that was needed, and a brand new telescoping magnet that he opened out of the package just for me to use to try and find this thing...this on top of them letting me utilize their shop tools to do this, as like an idiot, I'd left mine at home. Sure, they may not be the cheapest place in town, but the fact that they were willing to go the extra mile, to go out of their way to do literally everything they could to help me out...that's pretty cool in my book! Customer service is what keeps me coming back. I was driving to LA from the Bay Area and my battery light came on. It had enough life left to make it to this location. Thank goodness Autozone was open at 8am and the Manager was nice enough to come out in the cold and test my battery. Alternator died. I purchased the ONE they had in stock and this location was kind enough to let me change it in the parking lot and offered their in house tools. A few hours later, they let me clean up in their private restroom and made sure everything was well before I went on my way. The salesperson also did price checks for me and found the same item $20 cheaper. The saleperson seemed knowledgeable. I usually do not write reviews but this is a must. My car needed a new battery so I decided to go here because of the review. I have gone to many other auto parts store before within Atwater and Merced, but each time I always feel intimidated and clueless as a woman. Most of the time, the workers are annoyed at me for not knowing anything and they can be unfriendly. I dragged going to Autozone today to get a new battery but it had to be done. When I arrived, all the workers were friendly and helpful. One of the employee, Kiyah, helped me get a new battery. I asked if he could help me change out the old battery and he did so kindly. Many employees will do their job because they have to, and it shows. I did not feel that at all at this AutoZone. They definitely have my business as a woman.
