So now I have a working pressure washer and a little organizer box of 49 other o-rings I'll probably pass on to my kids when I croak. But the whole package was $8. Considering shipping from the online Karcher supplier was going to be three times that, I'd say I came out ahead. These guys almost always go out of their way to help me out. Great store. With great staff that works pretty hard to find a measly o-ring for me. Go there.

I needed a set of spark plugs and there were two very different options. The VIN couldn't be deciphered to tell which type I needed but there was no doubt that only one style was going to work. As I was about to buy both sets (and return the set that I didn't need), a young man behind the counter jumped up with his tools and asked me to take him to my vehicle. These guys went above and beyond as he removed one of my old spark plugs and from that, it was easy pickings. A new spark plug went in its place, and I am 1/6 done. The staff went above and beyond, they had everything that I needed, and it was a very convenient location. I highly recommend this AutoZone.

We thought it was due to the cold weather and figured the alternator would help charge the battery. We had several errands to run and decided at the last minute to stop by AutoZone and get another battery if they had one in stock. We have used this store in the past. The store had a battery in stock. We were glad to hear that. Hubs paid for the battery and a store employee came outside to replace the battery. He told my husband the alternator wasn't working and the new battery was draining as the car was running. We didn't have any lights telling us the old battery was low nor did we have lights to tell us the new battery was low. I suggested we drive home and go to Shottenkirk first thing in the morning. Kudos to AutoZone for having the battery in stock! As for their employee and his tester, we are not sure if the employee doesn't know how to use the machine ir the machine is bad. Shottenkirk checked out the car and said everything works well.

I brought my RV in for an Onan Generator repair on Monday, October 28th. From the get-go, I was overwhelmed by the owner, Jerry, who couldn't stop talking about how religious he was. That should have been my first warning sign. He assured me to bring the RV back on Tuesday morning for troubleshooting while I waited. However, when I returned on Tuesday, he claimed he was too busy to look at it. After receiving no updates, I went back on Thursday, only to find Jerry absent at a Drs appointment. Gustapho, an employee wanted to trouble shoot items I had already had done. I did not want to waste time and assured him that those would be a waste of time. He eventually found the problem and estimated it would take four hours to fix. On Friday, Jerry called me at 9:33 AM, and I missed his call. I returned his call at 9:34 AM, and he said they couldn't repair the RV until Monday or Tuesday of the following week. When I stopped by the shop at 2:30 PM on Friday the same day, I discovered the RV was already repaired. My tires were muddy, and Jerry informed me they had to pull the RV out of a hole. I'm unsure if i the RV was properly towed or if they used a tow truck. Its my opinion that any way to cut corners, cost, or to be dishonest would have been his method to pulling my stuck RV out of his muddy parking lot. To make matters worse, S&S broke my screen door. I overheard Jerry's granddaughter asking if he was going to tell me about the damage. The final shock was the bill: $1,263.34 for actual 4.2 hours of work, despite the mechanic's initial estimate. The breakdown of the exagerated bill included 8.2 hours at $140 per hour for a generator that wouldn't start, removing the cover, replacing the ignition, cleaning the carburetor, and test running it. Parts cost $70.90, shop supplies $7.50, and a 2.50% card usage fee, which I later found out is illegal in some states. Note - (Under the Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act (CARD Act) of 2009, merchants are allowed to impose surcharges on credit card transactions, provided they do not exceed the cost of accepting the card. However, merchants must give customers clear notice of the fee before the transaction) As I left S&S about 1 mile out, the engine light came on, and when I called Jerry, his so-called Christianity went out the window. He became combative, insisting he didnt tear up my vehicle and he charged the max hours the book allowed, even though they only worked for 4.2 hours. The 8.2 hours isnt humanly possible because Jerry did start on the repairs until 10:00 am and finished at 2:00pm. I routinely drove by and believe he charged me for repairing the door he broke as well as pulling my RV out of the muddy hole which was also his fault. He further insulted me by lying about having two guys on the job, even though the invoice showed one employee billed. He tried to make a logical adjustment for the deceit but the evidence contradicted his lies. Jerry admitted none of their guys were certified, with one even saying he was still learning. The one technician said his expertise was tile flooring and asked if I needed any work done on the weekend Stay away from S&S Service Center if you value your time, money, and sanity. Google this business and because this place is a nightmare.

I do realize that drum brakes are old school, but even in modern times who on earth sells brake shoes without the hardware kit!? Advance Auto Parts does. Nobody in their right mind would put forth the effort to replace brake shoes without replacing the springs. The springs pull the shoes away from the drum when not in use. Kind of a big deal. Their customer service is great, but their offerings are deficient. They don't have the hardware kit available today or tomorrow. Neither does the other stores in this area..unless you buy the shoes with the hardware included. So guess who replaces drum brakes without replacing the springs? It is late, so the answer is this guy...unfortunately. I guess I'm not in my right mind :). Three stars for me because they contributed to putting me in the position. Check the contents closely or you may wind up on jack stands for a few days (or you might be forced to roll the dice, like me).

Yup, it was the end of the calendar year and my car was fairly loaded with clothing and household goods. I was grateful a man kindly help me offload everything and obtaining the tax receipt from the cashier area was quick and seamless. It's a sizeable store, I did not have time to browse, which I normally enjoy when at thrift stores. It did appear well-stocked.
