Hubby had some troubles getting the battery swapped. I'm not very savvy about cars, so I can't tell you exactly what the trouble was. Something about the battery having been drained and the electrical system not allowing us to do ...whatever was needed. So Hubby went back into the store to see if the clerk had any ideas. Not content to simply stand behind the counter and offer suggestions, the clerk came out to our car and spent several minutes trying different things with Hubby. Ultimately, the solution involved some sort of safety switch hidden someplace no sane person would normally think of looking. While the clerk located and pushed the safety thingie, Hubby was able to get the car started. It seemed easy, but only if you know about the super-secret button. The clerk was very kind, very generous with his time, and very patient. Automotive stores all seem to be pretty much the same, really. But employees who care and are knowledgeable and patient are what makes this one stand out.

Customer service was helpful, but essentially gave up and was just going to manually input my order. I was able to checkout on my mobile device. Decided to give the free same day shipping a try since it was an available option. The purchase was scheduled to deliver around 3:30pm and was notified via text message. Received a text message around that time saying that my order delivery had been cancelled. A link was provided to check the status and the link went to Doordash. This company uses Doordash to deliver their products... food delivery services are extremely unreliable and I figured they utilized their own drivers since they already have their own employees delivering parts all day. So it looks like my dasher probably cancelled. Fast forward to about 7 pm. Receive a notification that my order will be delivered around 6:30 pm... I will repeat, I received a notification stating my delivery would show up AFTER the scheduled delivery time and the item wasn't even delivered. A door dasher then sends me a text message asking for the address. I think this is strange but give him my address. He informs me that he needs the address to the STORE. Why the heck do I have to provide this? Do you not pass this onto your door dashers? So the only address I was provided from my late text messages is the main street name. My city is setup on a grid system so a single street name isn't very helpful. I had to go and look up the address for this place and provide it to him; hoping that this was the right address. He cancelled and said another dasher will pick it up. Great, so I call the store to try and resolve this; at this point I am willing to just pick my order up. Guess what, the store is already closed. Another door dasher messaged me to inform me that the store was closed as well. I told her not to worry about it. I spoke with customer service and was able to cancel my order. I ended up just picking up the order from a different store in person. What a joke. Your website services are terrible and your business model is terrible. Really, using Door dash? Not providing addresses to Door dashers and requiring me to guide them on how to handle their "job" for delivering orders. What a joke of a company. Your customer service representatives were surprisingly helpful and is the only reason I would ever "consider" buying from you again but I will always go out of my way to shop at O'Reilly's from here on out.

Fast forward a few days and my battery charging system light comes on and my car dies. No biggie, all alternators go out eventually. Well my mechanic called me and said whoever changed my oil spilled the oil all over my alternator and made a poor attempt to clean it up I called walmart to speak with a manager and got no apology, no remorse in the tone, no aceptence of this mistake, or no offer to make this right. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO WALMART. They had the car done in about 45 minutes on a busy Saturday morning. I also liked the quality of service for the price. Matt in the front desk has been extremely helpful in communicating the status of my car. Matt would inform me on the status of a single and any concerns found by Mike and Ryan. This company is a dying art...so far Sublime Speed Technology completed rewiring my entire 1974 Toyota; found a crack in my intake manifold (cleaned everything up and welded a new bit); rebuilt my carburetors; had my heater core rebuilt; replaced two bad gauges on my instrument cluster and a hazard switch. Mike, Ryan and Matt have been fantastic people to work with. They have been transparent with me from the start of this effort. Quality work takes time and when you're wanting rushed results it can be disastrous for the customer. I'm truly appreciative for all the work this company has done for me.
