Now, I understand that they can't just waste their time chasing codes for free, but yes that was a little steep. I paid it because I needed my car repaired, and I really do like them. That being said, they now charge $253 to diagnose a check engine light. I just cannot afford to pay $250 simply to walk in the door before the repair pricing even begins, so I have had no choice but to take my car repair business elsewhere. They do a fantastic job, the techs are wonderful, the repairs have been good, but they have priced me out of being able to take my car to them. I do recommend them if you can afford them because they do good work. Just be prepared for the price.

She said she goes to grease monkey, but I went to Jiffy Lube because they were closer to my home. I really really really wish I would've went to grease monkey. Half of the things I needed I didn't get at Jiffy Lube because the price was already 125 just for the oil change alone. But I needed an air filter and one of my headlights was out. It would've been an additional 70+ dollars for the air filter and the headlight in addition to the 125 I paid for the oil change. Had I gone to grease monkey not only would I have saved on the oil change, but I would've gotten my headlight done for free. That's what happened today. The headlight itself cost five dollars at Walmart and when I got to grease monkey since I had the part myself, they literally changed my headlight for free. I haven't been able to drive after dark for two weeks, but they have taken a huge relief off my shoulders. Not only that they topped off my fluids and zip tied my bumper which was falling down in one area. Again, all for free. I really really really wish I would've went to them sooner because Alex, who is amazing for an 18-year-old, and Cadence were super friendly and very informative. I had oil change, engine and cabin filters replaced, and brake light replaced. I needed a wheel alignment, but that was not something they could do. Very reasonable pricing, and they even gave me a discount for being a UNMC employee. The drop off appointments are easy to get, but the waiting appointments book out 6 weeks or so. I haven't serviced my Honda anywhere else and don't plan on going anywhere else as long as we're in Omaha!
