Came from out of town and my car battery died. Got a jump and came here to get a new battery. The guys were too busy to change my battery and someone walked off with their tools so they couldn't lend those either. Tried really hard to spend $200 in the store but nobody wanted it apparently. Had these two great guys Juan and Tim who went out of their way helping me and my son with both wiper blades and headlights purchased. What made the service extraordinary was on top of what was supposed to be a freebie of installing the wiper blades, they offerred doing the headlights as well even during a downpour. I went in to o'reilly to get some cleaning products for my car. I was looking at the black magic tire shine and and cleaner a nice man with the gold chain ask me do You need help. I said no but thank you then my mother calls before I can pick up the phone. I here bob making jokes behind the counter about the color black asking the young man do you know what black means the young man says no then bob said it means dirty gross randomly makes a sound. Then ask me do I need help. I said no. So I picked up my products and paid bob was smiling trying too be nice puts his fist out for a fist bump kinda looked at him crazy for the jokes ? Then I walked out the young man comes out apologizes for the joke and he knew that it was wrong I said it's cool I'm from Tennessee. Oooooooo.... Oooooooooooo...... Oooooo...O'Reilly their crew is tried and true, You have some trouble with your buggy, And O'Reilly will see you through! Not familiar with many irish jigs but going to O'Reilly's will have you doing one. I have a little over 2 year old car and because I work @home I don't put a strain on my car. Sooo if my car starts having problems this worries me ...A LOT!!! Woke up on Saturday to make a Whole Foods run to my surprise, my car won't start. Got a jump from my gf and my car started. The battery isn't covered under warranty and WTF I barely drive this thing --how is my battery dying?! None the less called O'Reilly and they had 1 battery left for my cars model. Immediately went there but they wanted to test it first. The battery was at 75% and really didn't warrant me buying a new one. Instead they charged my battery and helped install it back into my car. All for the whopping price of 0.00 and my car is now fine. I guess not driving your car when it's cold outside doesn't help your battery much. While waiting for my battery to be charged got to take a look at the store, very clean and very well stocked. I order multiple parts on the phone from the Pacifica Manor Dr. location and was helped by Kris Popielak. His customer service and manners on the phone were very impressive and beyond his years (I'm assumming by his voice he is a younger gentlman). Kris covered all information/description and options available for each part ordered. He made sure that what I needed was indeed on the shelf and put aside at will call for me to pickup and what he needed to order was ordered and gave me a timeline of delivery to the store. He made sure all my items were set aside at will call for me to pickup and also made arrangements to call me when all parts were there. Great customer service. I went in to return a windshield wiper that wouldn't fit that I previously bought yesterday. It was the right part but it wouldn't fit. Tony came out to my car and tried to instal it but realized it didn't fit. I exchanged it for another wiper that fit. Tony came back and installed it for me. The people here were amazing ! My tail lights went out, and I was able to call ahead and have them set aside the bulbs that I needed...picked them up in a flash after work one evening. Timmothy, who helped me, was knowledgeable, patient and very nice. In fact, he took the time to come out to the car in the rain, and show me how to replace the bulbs ! So, I left with my problem fixed, also knowing how to handle it for myself next time. (*note: Timmothy also politely declined my cash tip with a smile; I could not be more impressed, or more appreciative). It was a great surprise to get this friendly and helpful service, in an era where neighborhood shops are dying out and (most) big chains are lacking in service. read more

My friends and i always exchange horror stories about trying to get or order parts from this store. Even calling to check pricing and availability can be a hassle. Most of the employees are rude and ive even had them argue in front of me over who would help me with a battery exchange. Ive stood at the counter and waited a few times while they do other tasks that dont involve helping customers. Most recently i had a worker give me some pricing info and then he hung up the phone without saying bye or have a nice day. Just terrible customer relations all together. So i decided its time to write an honest review. If you want the best experience possible just go to the skyline location near westmoor. Theyre fantastic up there. read more

Cheap tools that will get you by in a pinch. Car parts, well you get what you pay for. Need spark plugs... you're ok, but this is not the place to buy enthusiast grade or high performance parts. This is one of the most considerate shops. The guys helped me get new wipers installed and filled my cars' reservoir with washer fluid. But when they noticed a leak in the reservoir they syphoned off enough to get it below the crack and saved the excess for me to use to refill later. This took time which they were happy to give. This place is a joke! Came just a little while ago to exchange a light bulb that was sold to my step father by one of their sales guys at a store. Never experienced anyone at any of the stores that was not friendly until today. This young guy that was not even helping me but I guess was the boss this night was terrible. I was at the counter and the man that was helping me was just going to exchange the part due to CUSTOMER SERVICE. Yes I made the mistake by not asking for the receipt from my step father. But it's just an exchange I'm not asking for money back I'm asking to get the correct part so I can be on my way. This young guy with attitude immediately butted in the conversation saying "hey you can try to return it but it won't let you" So the man that was helping me was just like "uhhhh ok" after trying to exchange the item. The young man then says just buy the part that you need and then return the other when u get the receipt. I mean for real, you really need to do all that for a light bulb. Smh! What a joke!!! What you see is what you get. Don't ever order anything from them, its a crapshoot. This is from multiple experiences with these people. Some are well meaning, but overall you are better off getting it from the internet. They don't get parts any faster, and they might well try to give you the wrong thing. Don't think that they will call you when it comes in, they wont. Don't think that it will be there quickly either, it wont. Kragen replaced the Scherbas and Grand auto chain locally; thety did it by using terrible customer service, and that's what auto parts places are all about. read more

He didnt want to call , so grudgingly he called ??? He sent me to the other Kragen and I come to find out that he didnt even call them,they didnt have the starter i wanted in stock , He sent me on a wild goose chase ... Stopped at this location to get some new wiper blades. Usually I just change them when I go get my oil changed but this could not wait since the blade was falling apart. It's 2pm and I noticed other employees helping other customers such as changing a battery and another doing some odd and ends service under another customers hood..I don't know how to change a wiper blade so I just gave it a shot to see if another employee could help me..I was pleasantly surprised that Javier walked out to the parking lot. He looked at my wiper blades , showed me how to remove them and recommend some new ones..He rang up my transaction then offered to install the blades for me...WOW !!! What great customer service !!! It's seems that this store has it all together ...I am sure that the leadership is strong at this location as all the employees seem to work well as Javier told another co-worker that he was going to the parking lot to help a customer and that there was two shoppers in the store.. ***** Great Customer Service ***** Inventory ( Well Stocked ) ***** Cleanliness **** Parking ( not too bad..It was full but I'm sure that reason is self explanatory ) ***** Employees ( this is where the store excels..I counted 4 ) To the store manager: You guys have it together. What a great experience at O'Reily's tonight! After way too many times having a nail-biter about whether my car would turn over, I drove to O'Reilly's and got a new battery. They were very helpful, and gave me several choices. I got the cheapest one I could for the longest warranty time and then had the good fortune to have JP do the install for me. They said they would install it as long as it wasn't too complicated and they had the available help. Although it seemed like that battery was installed under several retaining devices, JP was awesome! He assured me that he could do it. I sat in my car like a princess and he did all the heavy lifting, both literally and figuratively -- those batteries are heavy! A giant thank you to JP and the great staff there at O'Reilly's. (I should add that this isn't the first time they've helped me out. I got new windshield wipers there last month and without me even asking, they offered to install them. They use to have an older gentlemen there who I think was named Paul. He was the best counterperson there and now when I go there no one knows what the hell they're talking about. One of the kids there tried to put antifreeze in my crankcase. I asked another if they could show me where the oil caps are and all he did was point it to me, which didn't help at all. I wish I knew where the older guy went, because wherever he's working that's where I'm buying my parts from! read more
