PHENOMENAL SERVICE!!!!!!! I spoke with John over the phone.....he LISTENED and answered all of my questions....he even took notes while on the call with me, so I never had to repeat myself. Mike is the technician that replaced my battery. He was punctual, communicative and professional.....he also changed the battery out in ONLY about FIVE MINUTES!!!! Our car died out as we were making a left hand turn on to Ashby from Telegraph. Got blessed and a couple of gentlemen got out and pushed right into the Chevron Station on that very corner. I got out the phone and started searching for someone who would come to you and replace an old battery. Mike answered the phone asked questions for the replacement to take place and gave me a quote. Got a dead battery late on Sunday night. Requested a quote on yelp and this company responded in 10 mins. Had a tech come out Monday morning at 10am and in less than 10 mins had it replaced. I got a car shipped to SF and the battery drained and electricity is needed to open the hood latch (dumb design). I called Battery Roadie and was given same day support. We went through various levels of trouble shooting and he went above and beyond by trying to open my car's wheel well to manually open the hood. After we got it open, turned out the battery was bad and leaked a ton all over. I got the battery replaced and the corrosion cleaned. I am so glad I found this business on yelp. If you look at the reviews, they have 211 & they are ALL 5 stars and they have 5 stars for a reason. The price they quoted me for a battery was the same price as three other different businesses that I called so that right there told me they weren't a sketchy business. They charge you a $30 to install the battery. I think that's beyond reasonable considering I have no clue of how to even do something like this and they got to my residence in like 25 minutes! The employee who installed my battery was Tom. He was very polite very friendly approached us with a smile and not a grumpy face like you see so many employees these days....I don't know. I was just super impressed with this company and should I ever come across a dead battery situation again or any of my family or friends? I will definitely recommend them. My car wasn't starting so I had assumed it was the battery and contacted Battery Roadie. Mike came out, checked out the battery. He noted the battery was giving off the correct voltage so it wasn't bad, but he also noted the connection points didn't have the correct screws and one wasn't even screwed on properly. He fixed it up for me in under 10 minutes, all while being super friendly. What an awesome service! Look, getting a battery replaced in the past had been a huge pain and very stressful. I thought this would be too good to be true. Amazing experience with battery rodie today . I've been bothered lately by my battery not charging much when driving my relatively modest routes, and also confounded with my NOCO genius 5 battery charger not operating properly and only giving a tiny charge. So I thought I had two problems, and was worried about both of them. My battery was originally installed by John about 10 months ago. It was a wonderful and easy experience and he recommended that particular charger for someone like me who doesn't drive often and enough to get the battery charged fully at least once a week. But I had originally assumed the problem was with the battery because the customer service people at NOCO kept telling me the charger wasn't functioning correctly because the battery was possibly sulfated or something like that and would need to put it in repair mode which is something I definitely did not want to mess around with. They did suggest I get it tested, which I put off for a while because I kept assuming something was wrong with the charger and not the battery, but was still worried about the battery. Turns out nothing was wrong with either thanks to Mike showing me. So finally I decided to call them up and Mike answered, and very fortunately he happened to be in Lafayette and I am in Walnut Creek, so he followed up on his promise to give me an ETA and less than an hour after I called he was already at my place with the the truck and allthe necessary diagnostic tools. He tested the cells and then did a load test followed by checking the alternator to be sure it was charging the battery with the engine on. I happened to have just started trying to charge it up in the morning and the charger was right there near my rcar and I discussed the problem with him of the charger not working properly and then I watched him hook it up and toggle through the modes and then suddenly it was going through the proper cycles. So the whole time I had no idea I was using the charger without toggling through the modes and that was the problem. By the evening it had charged the battery fully. Mike was extremely generous and did not charge me a fee for coming to my place to test the battery and as it turns out solved two problems at one time by showing me how to use the charger properly ! Not only that, he also answered all of my questions patiently and completely. Thanks so much Mike. I will be recommending battery roadie to anyone needing a very convenient and wonderfully satisfactory battery purchase as well as above and beyond follow up customer service ! read more

Where as I had an older but still working charger I did not buy it and he said there was nothing he can do to help me and did not charge me a fee.
