Screen Card So, long story short, I broke the screen on my Samsung S23 Ultra at the gym to the point that it was completely unusable. Once I got home, I put in a claim with my phone insurance through my provider (Xfinity Mobile), and they gave me an option to replace the phone for $99 or to get it fixed for free. Now, I've heard replacement screens can be not as good as the originals, but on the other hand, "free" just happens to be my favorite price--so I took a chance and put in for the repair. This Batteries Plus (B+) was the closest official repair shop in my area, so once I put in my claim, they sent me a link to schedule my appointment, and away I went. The Good: * Tons of appointment times available, and they were totally fine with me moving it up once my schedule cleared up. * Street and lot parking * Fantastic customer service by the three different gentlemen (sorry, I didn't get names). They were fast, reliable, and polite. I was in and out with the drop-off in less than 5 minutes. * Not only are they polite, but they're super fast and they had the parts in stock. They quoted me 1.5 hours, but it was done in less than one! * The screen seems as good as the original, and they claim they use only factory original Samsung parts for the repair. The Meh: * The website to make the claim kept wanting to send text message verifications. Well, if I'm putting in a phone claim then why would you assume I have access to it???? 0_o Not B+'s fault but just needed to vent that. The Ugly: * Breaking your phone is just the worst. -_- Conclusion: Don't be an idiot like me and break your phone, but if you do B+ is here for you! read more

Came by the other day to drop off some fluorescents. The drop off process was easy with street parking available. The uniformed staff ensured that I was in and out within minutes! They also recycle batteries and CFL bulbs too! The store has plenty of unique batteries and bulbs for sale! read more

So this is my second review for Batteries Plus as this time I needed a key fob to be programmed to my vehicle after losing a set of keys. Joey was patient and professional and both the fob and internal key within the fob work without a hitch. I purchased the fob itself online and brought my own battery - not a problem. The programming itself was reasonable in comparison with other local quotes. Most importantly, it was done in a timely manner and it works! This is a small storefront that would be easy to miss . There is free parking in the back. If you need a new key fob, car battery, watch battery, any sized light bulb, etc... run on over. The quality of the products is good and the service is top notch. Had a great visit today at this store. I called around for some watch batteries and was getting some ridiculous quotes from all types of Jewelry Watch stores until I called this place. The prices were a lot better than the other places and I decided to add 7 new batteries to my watches. I met with Connor Assistant store manager, and he took care of my watches in about 20 minutes. I will definitely refer all of my friends and family to Batteries Plus if they want to save some money. I walk with a cane and AFO brace on my left leg and Connor was professional enough to offer me a seat while I waited. They have light bulbs, flash lights and even Car batteries. They also can fix your cell phones and laptops. I was pretty impressed such a small place packed with a lot of useful stuff. This place is a rip off! You ask for replacement batteries and they don't tell you they charge to change it out for you. $16 for one battery and their "time" to swap it out. I told the guy I didn't ask him to change it out. So he took out the battery and sold me a two pack for $11! Then he gave me my remote back with NO battery in it. He threw away my old one. Then he stands there watching me replace the battery he just sold me. WTF?! What kind of service is that?! I could have ordered off Amazon and not have to deal with idiots. I will NOT be coming back. I had a non-working glucose meter that I thought was a defective battery. They took the time to make sure the problem was the battery, but it was the meter. Why do I keep coming back for any battery requirement? Service, Service Service! Stopped by because I had a finicky key fob for an old Camry. Asst Store Mgr Conner Burslem took the time to thoroughly inspect the fob. After testing the fob with the 3 other batteries I had on hand he determine they were all dusted. After installing a fresh battery the fob still wasn't working. He pointed out that these old Camry fobs needed to be re-flashed every time a battery is removed. Who knew? Not me! Conner pulled up the instructions online and ran me through it then pointed me to google to find the instructions. It's an odd process but after a couple of try's the remote fob is back to life. I needed two 6-volt AGM 205 aH batteries for my teardrop camper. I called and the person I talked to said he had two left in stock and put them on hold. He verified that he could install them for about $50. I hauled my camper down the following morning and parked in their very tiny parking lot. Inside, it took several minutes for the counter person to locate the batteries, and one of them was the display model. He installed it, and only got 6 volts instead of 12. He went and got two other people to assist him and they rewired it. Got 13 volts! Great! But, no electricity in the camper. They determined that was a different problem, and they'd done their job. This cost me $782. I came home, called an RV tech, and he correctly rewired the batteries and replaced the battery blade fuses that had been blown by wrongly wiring the batteries. Cost me an additional $350. So, $1,130 to replace two $250 batteries. Their products are overpriced and their installation is dangerous. Do NOT recommend. read more

This review only applies to car key fob replacement. In my case, the key fob item itself bought from Batteries Plus was faulty, as was its replacement. That means that their supplier is not providing quality parts. Note that Batteries Plus does a great job with the programming side of the replacement. If you can, order a factory key fob, then take it to Batteries Plus to get it programmed. Their programming fee is very reasonable, and no appointment is needed. read more

He said apple requires diagnostics and everything else be done I told him that I pay for the insurance every month and I just need a new screen he repeated what he said and asked me how much I was paying for the service today I was shocked and told him. I buy all my car batteries from Battery Plus. I have a strong preference for Duracell batteries because of their exceptional longevity. I'm just not a fan of DieHard and Interstate because they tend to fail right after the warranty expires. My original Duracell, which I bought from another Battery Plus in 2016, is still performing very well. However, since car batteries typically last up to 5 years, I decided to replace it before it died. Before driving there, I called to make sure they had the battery in stock. After a 30-minute drive, I arrived at the store and had a new battery in my car within an hour. I'm keeping the old battery charged in my garage as a backup. read more

They were very attentive and their supervisors even did a check in with the employee to make sure everything was good. I think the customer service is great. Special 'Free Installation' offered on website was not honored at this location. Didn't have tools necessary to perform battery reset (required on some cars) yet offered install at an additional charge. Charge to install was not excessive, but counter to an offer that the reservation was booked under (see screen shot/photo.) While there is a disclosure about exclusions, the franchise receives a notification with vehicle information, and customer contact information. Morally and ethically the business owner knows their policy, but the customer does not. They should be, as a courtesy, not only confirming the appointment but clarifying their policy that is outside of the website offer, giving the customer and opportunity to make an informed decision. I always like Batteries Plus Bulbs. I visit my store in Colorado Springs frequently to buy batteries (Car, Motorcycles, homes) and light bulks, laptop and cell charges. They staff is very knowledgeable and are helpful. So no surprise when I visited the San Jose CA store with my dad. My Samsung Note 5 usb port was iffy and as it is 4 years old I probably needed to replace my battery. So we went in and talked to Tyler. What a wonderful, knowledgeable and delightful young man. He explained that the usb port was replaceable but I would need to replace the screen at a great expense, and after checking the usb port, said that it was a little damaged but still workable. This is an absolute nightmare! The only reason I am back here now is because apparently the battery I bought for my Yukon was a part of a "bad batch" I came here a month ago, they said that they ordered me a new one and would call me when I came in. They never called me. I called them, they said that is is here and to come in so they can swap it out. After a jump starting my car, & a 30 minute drive I arrive for them to swap the battery out for a new one. An hour and a half goes by while I sit in the car with my 3 children 10, 4, 4, and the youngest who turns 3 today. Now they can't get my car to start, they can't figure it out, the manager tells me that I am Shit out of luck, leaves my care taken apart, refuses to put it back together and tells me to get a tow truck and Uber for the babies. The manager even physically pushed me! This is a complete nightmare!!! Police reports will be filed and legal action will be taken! I called the police, as I wait for them to come I go to attempt to put my car back together and the first bolt I pick up to put back in, I see that they completely snapped it.
