That simple act of kindness meant a lot in that heat. They also took the time to answer my questions honestly. When I asked about replacing my broken car window, they didn't pretend to do something they don't. Instead, they recommended AAA Auto Salvage as a good place to find a replacement window. When I have the money, I'll be coming back here to buy their new battery with the 2-year warranty. I approached the front counter and asked if an associate could help me identify the correct location to add power steering fluid, as I wanted to avoid placing it incorrectly. Although I understand that information can be found online, I chose to visit the store specifically for in-person assistance, especially since the store was not busy. Other auto parts retailers commonly provide this type of basic customer support, which is why I felt comfortable asking. The associate at the front desk appeared hesitant and consulted another employee, who then suggested--within my hearing--that I "YouTube it." This response felt dismissive and unprofessional, particularly given that I was seeking simple guidance and human assistance. Customer service and approachability are key reasons customers choose to shop in person rather than online. Unfortunately, this interaction fell short of that expectation. As a result, I do not plan to return to this location.
