Instead of trying to upsell me, they listened and found me a quality used battery that fit what I could afford. They installed it and got me back on the road. The thing that really stood out was how they treated me as a person. It was 104°F in Lancaster that day, and they handed me a bottle of ice-cold water without me asking. That simple act of kindness meant a lot in that heat. They also took the time to answer my questions honestly. When I asked about replacing my broken car window, they didn't pretend to do something they don't. Instead, they recommended AAA Auto Salvage as a good place to find a replacement window. When I have the money, I'll be coming back here to buy their new battery with the 2-year warranty. Businesses earn repeat customers by ttreating people right, and that's exactly what AV Battery Mart did. Thank you to everyone there for your honesty, kindness, and excellent customer service.

Although I understand that information can be found online, I chose to visit the store specifically for in-person assistance, especially since the store was not busy. Other auto parts retailers commonly provide this type of basic customer support, which is why I felt comfortable asking. The associate at the front desk appeared hesitant and consulted another employee, who then suggested--within my hearing--that I "YouTube it." This response felt dismissive and unprofessional, particularly given that I was seeking simple guidance and human assistance. Customer service and approachability are key reasons customers choose to shop in person rather than online. Unfortunately, this interaction fell short of that expectation. As a result, I do not plan to return to this location. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as attentive and respectful customer service plays a significant role in maintaining customer trust and loyalty.
