Well my son needed his Dad and I to take his rim for replacement after he hit a guardrail coming off the 14. We called three shops, drove to three different shops and Bent Rims was the only shop that said they could overnight order one for us. After meeting with Sal and his beautiful wife, they were not only able to help us with the rim and installation but it turns out Sal is from our hometown. He and the hubby went to school together and had most of the same mutual friends. He even knew of few of my old backyard party friends too. I always say everything happens for a reason. This place does nor repair rims correctly in order to properly repair a rim it needs to be prepped properly (1st grind sand to clean around the crack) (2nd clean inside the crack with grinders files etc....) (3rd taper crack to get good penetration of weld) (4th rim should be brought up to temperature to just before heat treat temperature in order to get a good weld) (5th inside of rim should be welded 1st. Ground and fines sanded to smooth surface where tire bead sits) (6th then weld the outside leaving bead to add strength still achieving good penetration and build on weld) Then letting rim cool This place does none af that read more

My rims were damaged after an unspecific chemical was used. I was recommend to bring them here. They attempted to fix the damaged chrome on the rims with no luck. Damage was not correctable. My rims were replaced after all. So my review is solely based on the service which was great. I just got my rims on my 2018 Honda Accord powder coated by Sal at Bent Rim. He did a great job. The rims look like they were always black. All I had to do was just drop off my car to him on Wednesday and picked it up on Friday. He did everything. He removed the tires and remounted and balanced the tires. I took my car in for tiny hole in the rim was told to be there at 9 when they open the window said they open at 8:30 they didn't show up until almost 9:30 then the tech was chatting with a friend for 10-15 mins before working on my car had to do several welds because once he weld the tiny hole it opened several more holes finally about 11 he got it and it was done a quoted $50 job turned into a $75 job and off I went the next morning my wheel was flat took to another place and they found more holes on opposite end from the welding I called for a refund and got nasty attitude and denied a refund believe me I will have my refund he wants me to bring it back why? So he can mess it up even more small hole in the wall shop he said he had 15 years experience so why for a tiny hole did it take you so long and why did you make more holes??? read more
