I drove 3-4 time to Rockford from Racine and wasted about 100$ in gas each trip. Still hasn't given me call back I asked to speak with the owner/boss "he's on vacation" but wasn't on vacation an hour prior before I called the second time. I strongly suggest you don't buy anything from them. They are the true definition of a junk yard lbvs. Also never received my 100$ core refund

On April 08, 2025, I left my credit card information with the owner, Kevin, to hold and pull the engine. My card was charged $1,002.11, which included the cost of the part, tax, and a credit card processing fee. A few days later, I traveled to the business to pick up the part. At that time, I paid $924.38 in cash, and Kevin told me the credit card charge would be refunded. He said he had my card number saved in his system and did not need to swipe the card to issue the refund. After a week had passed and I still hadn't seen a refund, I contacted Kevin again. He claimed the refund had been processed. I called my bank to check -- no refund was pending. I followed up with Kevin again, and during that call, he realized that a refund had been accidentally issued to another customer with a similar transaction from the same day. He told me he would contact that customer to resolve the mistake and issue my refund. However, after that conversation, he stopped answering my calls. I have made multiple attempts to follow up, but he has not responded. I am requesting assistance in recovering the $1,002.11 credit card charge, which should have been refunded after I paid in cash. As of today, I am waiting for KEVIN M HOFFMAN to return my calls. I have left multiple messages with his staff. No return calls.

We've all got experience with this. Something about this location set it apart. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to work there, and friendly. I never felt swindled or swayed or disregarded. That is something I rarely see in any of my daily interactions. The communication was spot on. Really a near perfect experience. I made a few mistakes myself, simply because of how happy I was to feel comfortable spending 20k+ on a used truck for the first time. I have purchased 6 used vehicles throughout the years, and new it was time to step up into the real world and take on significant debt for the first time in my life. Mind you I am 29 years old. A lot of us have taken the leap with school, cars, houses, etc. This was great though. I feel confident that I made a great purchase, spent a little more than I wanted, and maybe I might've got a better deal somewhere else, but I drove almost 2 hours to check out this truck. And I will do it again. Definitely an A+ dealership. They even filled up my tank since I had driven so far. Sam is the man who sold the truck, and Patti is the financial aspect. No complaints in the slightest and I am extremely happy. It's only been 2 days mind you, but I am happy purchasing my 2009 Chevy Silverado. If you're weary about dealerships, check these guys out. Also this is only the second positive review I've left in my life. And I don't even waste my time writing poor reviews.

When I called to ask what's going on (they refused to take the alternator back that we got less than a week ago. She said it didn't have her markings and she tested it herself. But when we put it in something wasn't turning in it and it snapped the belt.) she also treated me like crap. Said she wasn't an idiot and has been doing this over 30 years. She did offer to test our battery to see if it was the battery but no thanks. I'll take it to my aunt who also has been working on cars for over 30 years. She's a bit nicer than this lady who's been doing the same for 30 years but no good customer service... Need some better employees that are a little less old and bitter. Looks like money down the drain.

You know that felling the one that make your hiar stand up. Yes that felling. Well after walking around in circles trying to figure out what door to use as there are no signs of life here (People or cars) Some slower minded individual comes out of a door not sure which one at the moment and yells ovvvverere, i look around and there he was standing around the corner im like wtf where did he come from. Well anyways needles to say i walk in and ask for my parts i called the day before about and was told they would be ready. (I also called before i left minnistoa that morning and was told they would be ready.) well when speaking to the peolpe in the hole behind the door they say they couldnt get it off due to ice. ok a fender has 5-6 bolts it was on a wrecked car missing the front minus the fender how hard could it be i removed my fender in minutes just stating the obvious here. what im getting at here AVOID AT ALL COST you are better off buying parts for more money than buying anything here. (Good Chance the parts you buy will be off a stolen car. but if your brave enough to stop thru you will know what i mean. Chicago aint got shit on this place.
