Followed by the computer screen getting hot as FIRE and GLITCHED and could not be used for three days. Took it back to the service department and after being there for about a week, they found NOTHING wrong with it!! Then another week or two goes by and the LEMON starts jumping down the road. Take it back in and there were three plugs that were bad AND the ignition coil was also out and this all occurred within in a two month period of time. The vehicle spent a total of 30 days in the service department, and I felt that they owed us a car payment since they had it for month!!! So at this point, Andrew, the owner's son tells us "don't worry, if anything else goes wrong we'll put you into another vehicle". Well the last week of April 2026 the car started randomly turning off at red lights,and a message would pop up telling you to put the car in park and restart it, like seriously?¿!¡ This ALL occurred in approximately a two and a half month period. Well I spoke to Andrew, whom by the way is the owner's Son. He said he had never heard anything like the last issue but said don't worry, if anything else occurs he'd get us into another vehicle. Well my husband and I figured that they'd find something similar and get us into it. Not exactly true!! They had a 2019 (year older than the they sold us), granted it had 25K miles on it but the we have is a year newer with 50K miles and here's the kicker, they were trying to say that the MSRP is 29,000, so for 10 grand more, ya they'd get us into something else. What an absolute joke. So here we sit with a humongous and there's not a damned thing we can do about it!!! THANKS A LOT FREEPORT FORD!!!! Buyer beware when purchasing a used car from them and do yourself a favor, read all the negative reviews from different review sites. Trust me you'll be glad that you didn't buy a lemon from there and bought a vehicle from a more reputable dealership and didn't get a JUNKER from FREEPORT FORD!!!!!

My experience with this company is definitely not a good one. First of all I was told it would be 2…read morepossible 3 weeks to fix why my car was fuel starved. It turned out to but just over 2 months of them having my car. I never harrassed with calls checking on it. Only calls made were because the employee lied and said he was "just finishing up rewiring the car back and he would call once he finished road test" and then poof no calls no nothing. My car sounded perfectly fine it just was starved of fuel and sputtered a bit. Now after getting it back it sounds like a diesal truck and smokes to high hell(I have a video 2 weeks before storing in my garage for winter of it running and doesnt sound like it does now nor did it ever smoke.. it did leak trans fluid from bullet but I told them about that). I was charged just over $1500 for something I was told should have been less than half that. Drove the car from their shop then literally got 2 blocks from home and she died. Was told it needed gas before I left so I had the person that followed me get me 5 gallons and tried to fire it up again and she knocks like a S.O.B. and wouldn't stay going. I had to get towed home. I took car to different shop and showed them the paperwork I got from this place and they just laughed at me and said you paid all that for this quality of work and they almost didn't want to work behind them but told me he would look at it when he got time and we could go from there. I definitely feel like they got over on me with the time frame they had the car and the work that was done. Not 1 time during this whole ordeal did they communicate ANYTHING to me just a bunch of we won't have time to finish today and it wil be done tomorrow which were all lies. The car is over 50yrs old and doesn't have much wiring to deal with but that seemed like his go to to stretch things out and just rob me of my hard earned money. Not happy at all with what was done and would never return nor recommend this place for anything vehicle related. He was pushing me to just LS swap the motor after I got upset for how long it's taking and for what they didn't do yet. It literally took him 6wks bedore tell me after I pulled up that they may need to drop gad tank and look inside WOWZERS. MOST would say why didn't I just take car from them when they were acting funny and my response is I already had time and some labor cost(money) invested and I hoped that they would do what they say they would but I was EXTREMELY wrong on that and it was a $1555 mistake. They literally removed old electronic fuel pump and added new one that they screwed and bolted to my tank with AN fitting and a regulator was added in bay area as well with new lines and thats it. 12hrs of labor cost but about $100 in parts and 2+ months of wasted time. That didn't and doesn't sit right with me at all. USE THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK
