Woman who works here is very rude. My husband has a Traumatic Brain Injury and she treated him very badly. When I called to ask what's going on (they refused to take the alternator back that we got less than a week ago. She said it didn't have her markings and she tested it herself. But when we put it in something wasn't turning in it and it snapped the belt.) she also treated me like crap. Said she wasn't an idiot and has been doing this over 30 years. She did offer to test our battery to see if it was the battery but no thanks. I'll take it to my aunt who also has been working on cars for over 30 years. She's a bit nicer than this lady who's been doing the same for 30 years but no good customer service... Need some better employees that are a little less old and bitter. This Place is a Chop Shop if you want something cheap with damage you might get it. I stopped here for a fender drove 2 plus hours out of my way and when I arrive, I pull-in to where i should be, I think that was the first time I truely felt I walked in someplace I shouldnt be. You know that felling the one that make your hiar stand up. Yes that felling. Well after walking around in circles trying to figure out what door to use as there are no signs of life here (People or cars) Some slower minded individual comes out of a door not sure which one at the moment and yells ovvvverere, i look around and there he was standing around the corner im like wtf where did he come from. Well anyways needles to say i walk in and ask for my parts i called the day before about and was told they would be ready. (I also called before i left minnistoa that morning and was told they would be ready.) well when speaking to the peolpe in the hole behind the door they say they couldnt get it off due to ice. ok a fender has 5-6 bolts it was on a wrecked car missing the front minus the fender how hard could it be i removed my fender in minutes just stating the obvious here. what im getting at here AVOID AT ALL COST you are better off buying parts for more money than buying anything here. (Good Chance the parts you buy will be off a stolen car. but if your brave enough to stop thru you will know what i mean. Chicago aint got shit on this place. read more
