You…read moredon't really pay attention to the cost of things until you have to pay for them yourself -- and batteries are EXPENSIVE! BUT -- the KY Battery Outlet makes them affordable. Their batteries are literally about half the cost of what you'd pay somewhere else. How do they do it? Well, (I think) the cost savings is in that they require you to give them your old battery. What they do with it, I'm not sure - maybe recycle it, maybe recharge them -- not sure, don't care if it saves me $50-$100. I can attest to purchasing several motorcycle batteries (smaller battery so life expectancy is 1 year) and 1 car battery and having zero issues. They are super friendly, will check your current battery at no charge and make sure you leave with the correct battery for your make and model. They will take out the old, install the new and it's usually a quick in-and-out. They accept credit card, even discover! The only downside is that someone in the office is a really big UK fan-- so that paraphernalia is all over the office where you pay. Yuck. I've dealt with worse Cats fans.. these guys are pretty okay in my book. (Wink face -- because yelp doesn't yet believe in emoji's in reviews) Extra-extra -- I have a friend who owns a food truck. She mentioned needing a new battery. I told her about this place and that it was worth the drive. She told me later that day that they saved her $150. So yea -- never buy a battery anywhere else!

Today I placed an online order and used the advertised 15% off code. Woohoo! I completed my order and immediately got a call from the store informing me they were not participating in the discount, but they would offer the online 10% discount. I was told to cancel and re-place my order using the 10% off. OK. That stinks but the fine print did say "participating stores." I informed them that I did not have the ability to cancel my order so someone else called back to tell me she could cancel my order on their end and I could reorder, but she didn't know the 10% off code and I couldn't find it. I asked if it could be applied if I just came to the store. She said they could only do 5% if I was military! My niceness wore off and I said, "I find it hard to believe that after the inconvenience of not offering the advertised discount that you can't manually give me 10% off." She she'd she would try and figure it out. My son went in to get the batteries and received the 10% off and they were very kind to him. But seriously, there should be a way to opt out of the 15% online offer and also I should not have had to lose my temper to get the 10%. I will be back to this location. As I said, we have had positive service before. I just hope this review is seen and a better process is put in place. I am also now waiting for my refund from the cancelled order.

I remember the days at Radioshack, but in Kentucky there is no Radioshack. I needed a battery for my garage door opener and low and behold it was a batter I had never seen before. A32? It is like a smaller batter lengthwise than a triple AAA and I thought those were the smallest cylindrical batteries. The associate new exactly where they were and so it was a quick buy and out. I also needed to have a key copied, but they do not do home keys. If anyone needs their car keys copied, this would be the place.

Two staff members thought it was haptic vibration but my phone never made that noise before. I asked for a full refund, which they complied without any hassle. When I returned to the store the next day to get my phone back with the original battery, Mike explained to me he found a problem in the phone. As I suspected all along, he told me it was a loose screw. He tightened it for me just in case I wanted to keep their new battery. The service was very professional. I don't usually like to exchange opinions back and forth with sales technicians. I almost didn't go back because of it. I'm glad I did. They were professional and courteous; they did not intimidate customers even when we didn't see things eye-to-eye. Will I go back? Absolutely! They were great, especially Mike!

I was immediately told I would have to have my receipt, then that my truck shouldn't even have two batteries. Wouldnt even check the batteries. I've bought dozens of batteries here but my advice is go somewhere else. Anyone else will walk outside and at least test your battery.
