My 16 year old daughterWent there today for a battery for a ford escape. They got the battery and asked if they could install it for them. My daughter was told that they needed a specialist to install it with the special tools. My daughter left with the batt got home and removed and replaced the batteries with her wrench set. This is a crap way to run a business. Just say you are too stupid or lazy to do what you get paid for. Will NEVER recommend this place to even people I don't like. This location has been going down hill for awhile now. Nothing but people too busy cussing at each other and standing around with their mouths hanging open to help anyone. I'd rather wait a day to get parts from an online vendor than deal with the frustration. This location might be good for maybe car wash supplies or stick on iron crosses but that's about it. read more

This specific location is amazing, super helpful workers. I just needed some help getting a panel off my car and they came out side and did it for me for free, that way I didn't have to buy something I was only going to use once. Let me just start by saying if I can give zero stars I would. Costumer service was horrible. The gentleman was super rude. I understand having a bad day or even getting busy and being short but this guy pretty much just didn't care and was not willing to help at all ! This O' Reilly's had me running back and forth between them an Goodyear 3 times because they continuously gave me the wrong type of headlight bulb for my car. Normally I would understand, I don't know a lot cars, but the guy had an entire database to look up the correct part from. The sales person tried to make the situation better by refunding the difference from my first trip, but that doesn't take away from the time and energy wasted due to carelessness. I hate to bash on O Reilly's since I can understand how this situation is partially my problem, however they didn't help to make the situation any easier. read more

Typical OReilly store. Aside from a flaky guy at the register one time, this place has been great. Seeing that this store is accessible to all in Hazel Park, it's a God-send. I can bike to this place and get parts when my car isn't running. It may not be the best OReilly or auto part chain, but for HP it's pretty fantastic. read more

Went in to get new battery for my 2014 Dodge remote. Guy tells me i have to go to dealer to get it. It would need to be reprogrammed. Knowing this was utter B.S., I just said yea...ok. Went less than a mile up Wayne rd to Autozone.......they popped battery in for me, and i was back on my merry way. Best $6 i ever spent. Thank you autozone. read more

I made the mistake of going here on a Sunday. The place was filled with men with car problems , all crowding the front desk. I just wanted to buy some floor mats and went to the quick check out, which turned out not to be when the system crashed on the associate who was working on the customer ahead of me. Came in for a new reverse and brake light for my 2000 s10 barely made it in the door before the guy behind the counter asked if I needed anything. The staff at this location all seem to be very knowledgeable. Each time I've stopped in there for something, they're always ready to help. The night before we were supposed to get some winter weather, my wife informed me that she thought one of her wiper blades ripped. I told her to stop off there on her way home. She walked in just before closing, and got helped right away. To top it off, the gentleman that was helping her didn't offer to put them on for her, he just grabbed his jacket, and started walking to the door with the new blades in hand. She didn't even have to ask! That's quality customer service. The employees up there know me well. I'm restoring a classic car...piece by piece. I've never been steered wrong, or given the wrong part. Good people. read more

I wish I could put zero stars!! I've been coming to this oreillys since I was a little kid, I remember when it was called Murray's. Well I'll be sure to never spend another dime here. I have had pads and rotors warrantied in the past for squeaks, wear issues, and warped rotors. The dealership I work at has spent thousands of dollars with O'Reilly's. I took a set of pads and rotors to get warrantied for squeaks and a pulsation. I installed them a little less then a year prior so they had time to wear in properly. I had also called ahead of time because it was a Sunday and I was working on my fiancé's in my garage so I wanted to make sure they had the parts. I confirmed they had the parts, told the employee I was bringing them in for warranty. I even had the original receipt. Well I got there and immediately was told they didn't warranty rotors or pads for squeaks or pulsation and they said it's a vehicle issue not a part issue. I've been working on cars professionally for 15 years, i am state and ASE master certified, there is no problem with the vehicle. Caliper was not sticking and the slide pins were not frozen, that is literally the first thing I checked when I took the wheels off. So I argued with the 2 people there and eventually just walked out. I will never spend another dime here and neither will the dealership I work at. The fact that he immediately blamed the vehicle even though the guy working has never even assessed the issue with it. I recommend everyone to stay away from here and shop else where. They have no intent on helping a customer. read more
