They had long lines so I waited in line like everyone else. When it was my turn, the dark haired middle aged guy asked what I needed. I explained I didn't know but the battery light came on. He gave me some device and told me to plug it in somewhere. I know nothing about cars. Had absolutely no clue. When I go to my advanced auto parts near Littleton, they come out and help me. Well, I asked him if they could do that and he said he's too busy and can't leave his coworker alone. Ok, that's fine. A customer after me offered to help. He said the employee is not being helpful but I get it, they were busy. I came back later when there was only one person in line and he still didn't want to help me even though I waited long enough and it was my turn. He proceeded to take the next customer so I just went out in my car and signed up for AAA and spent money I did not have today. A few minutes later, that employee that refused to help me was outside helping another customer- a guy with his car. Soon after that, he was working on his own car. They were not very helpful or nice at all here. Prior to this my daughter's car broke down and my pipes broke so I was on my way home to meet the plumber. I wanted to cry but I have to be the strong single mom that I am. I just wish men like this were more accommodating when they see older ladies that could use the help. They seem to help who they want. Discrimination at its best. This is a terrible store. I didn't make a scene. I just left. I really don't need to beg anyone to do their job. If they don't want to help and are just there for a paycheck, karma will come back around to them and their family. Never going back to this store again. Wasn't pleasant at all.

I was excited because they said they'd put it on my car for me for free (part of a service they offer). It took the guy a bit before he had to call someone else in the store to help. They told me the arm was broken and I would have to get a new arm and go to another store location on Sheridan. When I asked how it broke, they said it was likely normal wear and tear but one of the teeth of the arm had broken off and I remember seeing a piece of plastic on my car rear bumper. I can't say for sure if anything was accidentally broken there but would've appreciated them taking ownership if this was the case as I had to go to a new location and pay $50 for a new arm.

In a conscious effort to responsibly dispose of a battery I took it to an auto parts store. It was…read morean Odyssey Extreme PC 2250. A very large, commercial, pure lead plate battery that weighs 86lbs and has a cost of about $750 new. The well meaning employee at the auto parts store told me he could only pay the standard $10 for it, he felt it was worth much more. He referred me to Rocky Mountain Battery. Upon arrival at RMB I requested help unloading the battery from my vehicle. The cocky young man working at RMB yanked the battery out of my vehicle by one its handles and flung it (landing upside down) on to a pallet. He then handed me $7 with zero explanation as to how or why he derived at that amount. It obviously wasn't worth my time or gas to travel to RMB.
