Desperately, I called Batteries Plus and found the sweetest, most helpful voice, to help me. She was alone in the store yet offered to help me in any way she could. I CANNOT express how thankful I am for the absolutely professional, friendly and caring treatment I received today. These qualities are SORELY lacking in today's world. Today, my son called me from the side of the road and told me that the car started smoking through the vents and all of the lights on the dash were on. He opened the hood, and there wasn't any kind of smoke, but the car would not start. I instructed him to call the tow truck that came with our warranty that I purchased through my credit union. Then, I called Amelia Auto Mart to let them know the tow would be coming there so they weren't surprised. The surprise was on me! Brandon went TO my son (about 10 miles away--something like that), drove my son to school so he wouldn't be any later, checked the car and noticed some hoses had come out of place, fixed them, test drove the car, and parked it in a safe parking lot close by for my son to get later. He then called me to tell me all was well. I am beyond grateful that he went above the call of duty and ensured my son's safety. My guess is that the hoses came out of place on a very Dukes of Hazzard like jump that you have to go over when you cross the main road (A1A). Dang construction... I thought nothing could surprise me about this wonderful company until today.

The shop kept my vehicle for approximately 14 months, and when it was returned, it was almost in worse condition than when I brought it in. Among the issues I discovered were a broken headlight, incomplete repairs, and parts left inside the vehicle for me to install myself. The vehicle was returned with several serious safety concerns, including a hood that was not functioning properly and a battery that was unsecured and moving freely under the hood. In my opinion, this created a potential safety hazard. In addition, the air conditioning system was not properly serviced, as no refrigerant had been added. Work that should have been completed was either left unfinished or performed improperly. They actually used wood screws, glue instead of brackets and bolts. As a result, I am now facing thousands of dollars in additional repair costs to correct problems that were not fixed and to address issues caused by the condition in which the vehicle was returned. Based on my experience, I can only recommend All-Pro Automotive being permanently shut down.
