Never heard of this place before until I was looking for the next place to go drinking. After reading the Yelp reviews today it seems to have its ups and downs. Obviously my visit is just a snap shot but I have a happy picture for a souvenir. This place is rather expansive, with a pretty large stage and it looks like a couple of dance floors. There's two bars, the main one inside, and a smaller one to serve the outside crowd. Our server, Amanda, was "just helping out" but ended up looking after us all night. She was able to answer questions about the beer selection, and have a few recommendations. For food, had the potato skins which turned out to be large potato haves well covered in cheese. My friends and I split them and enjoyed them. While we were there a band setup and started playing but it wasn't really out kind of music, and it was about time to move on anyway. Overall, no real complaints at all, nothing really stood out as special, except our server who was attentive and looked after us well. In a wayI feel bad giving this only a three out of five. But for a bar to still allow smoking inside is just inexcusable if you want to attract better clientele. The stage was great; the drinks were good; the staff was fantastic and the only reason they cannot possibly get more than stars is having to live with someone smoking right next to you. O'Shea's...have the courage to ban smoking inside (patio is fine) and watch your club filled up and your staff not die from 2nd hand smoke. read more

Waitress didn't seem interested in serving us, offered no menus and assumed we knew what they had, smoking is allowed when I had read online they're smoke free, table was sticky and there was only 1 other customer that we could see. read more

I came into colleyville from OKC to watch the OU vs Alabama game at a friend's house who I went to school with at OU. After a disappointing loss my friends and I needed a drink to drown out the blues and the first bar we went to was just too crowded. Thus, we ended up going to O'Shea's. We came into the bar with a group of around 10 and immediately loved the band on stage. We were all use to smoky bars from college so that didn't really bother us a bit. What bothered us is that after all buying a round of drinks and enjoying the band we were cutoff. We represented pretty much 1/2 of the customers there and I couldn't quite put my finger on why we were cutoff. My only guess is we were all in OU gear but I could be wrong. I asked for a double whiskey coke and the guy behind the bar simply put it "You aren't getting a drink". Lol well that's one hell of a thing to hear when you are at a bar. But all you can do is ask "why?". So that's what I did and got no explanation in return. I turned around to my friends and they were all cutoff as well. So I began to suspect someone screwed up being an idiot and our whole group got cutoff. But not one of us was acting rambunctious or obnoxiously drunk so I it led me to ask the man behind the bar why I wasn't able to get a drink. Still no explanation. Usually the no explanation just comes after someone is so drunk it doesn't matter if you explain to them or not. But our whole group was very much acting like anyone would in a bar and the band was very appreciative of us cheering them on. The whole place was dead and it gave the band some energy. After asking the guy for the 2nd time why we were cutoff, he became very agitated and had a real power trip. That is when things escalated and he asked if I wanted to take it outside. Lol gladly, I accepted that offer and thought wow this guy is just having a crappy week. He ended up staying inside, which was the right thing to do, no need for any fighting. But this guy really had a stick up his ass and really dropped the ball on an already bad night of losses. I'm not a repeat customer or am ever coming back so this review will most likely be taken with a grain of salt but the guy behind the bar needs a lifestyle change or something cause he hates what he is doing. read more

It's an ok place for Happy Hour. Very smokey, which is a turn off. Bar staff wasn't very friendly.

I went in to meet some friends and hear the band on this particular night. The wait staff ignored me several times, so I went to the bar, only to be ignored by the bartender, who didn't waste any time taking care of a couple who walked up after I had been waiting ten minutes or so. I finally decided to heck with this place and was going to leave. One of the other waitstaff Laura asked if she could help me, then took care of me the rest of the evening I was there. Had it not been for her, I would have left and trashed you guys here on yelp for your really crappy/non existent service initially. Laura saved you, I hope you acknowledge her for that. Not sure I'll go back, I'm not real happy with being a ignored at a place that I go to spend money. I'm more than happy to spend it somewhere that wants me to be there. You need work on your customer service in a bad way based on my experience. read more

Not the best service here. I came here September 20, around 10:50pm with my friend for his birthday. We sat ourselves and when the waitress (some blond chick) came by we asked if the kitchen was still open. She said yes, it was open until midnight. We then waited over 20 minutes, and she never came to ask us what we'd like to eat. At first, I gave her the benefit of the doubt and thought she was just busy. But then, we noticed she was talking casually with other customers at the bar, and never got around to us to ask what we'd like to order. We'll never be going back. It wasn't even busy. read more

My fiance and I really like this bar. It's clean and the wings are really good. They still allow smoking inside and since we are not smokers, it can kill an evening if there's too much. Also the bartenders aren't very friendly. Not rude, just not friendly. read more

A sizable sports bar, stashed inside of an ordinary storefront in a nondescript typical corner shopping center. You won't know it's there unless you're looking for it. Several pool tables, a couple of shuffleboards, and the requisite TVs hanging from the ceiling along the walls. Plenty of tables to sit at, or along the bar itself. I went on a Friday after work, and as one would expect, it was quite busy. The noise level was what I would expect also: Just loud enough to make it necessary to focus on the one person you're conversing with, otherwise you'll never hear a word they say. A fun time seemed to be had by all! So why the 3 stars? I split the difference. I'd forgotten what a smoky bar was like. Although there weren't a lot of people smoking, the place definitely had a heavy tobacco-smoke odor. If you are a smoker, or don't mind others that do, then Lonnegan's might be worthy of 4 or 5 stars. But if you are in the non-smoker's camp, you may want to stay away. Me? Non-smoker, and prefer to not be around it; but I'd go back to Lonnegan's if someone else invited me -- it just wouldn't be my choice. A quick shower when I got home (and doing the laundry this morning) will take care of the remaining "aroma." read more

It's assumed it will be smoky but honestly there is no one smoking nearby and it's terrible, but that isn't the worst part it's unbelievably hot in here when it's not hot outside and my husband has waited over an hour and a half for wings. I am speaking for a group of us that are long time customers of this pub. Whether it's dropping in for a few beers after work, a night of beer and trivia or every Sunday Packer Watching, this has been our favorite neighborhood bar for years with a Cheers like atmosphere and clientele. The Food is good and the beer is cold. That all being said, today is sadly the last time that we will patronize this old favorite because their prices have gone up so ridiculously. Don't know why the cost of eating and drinking here has been jacked up so much lately but there are definitely cheaper places around that are just as good. read more

Don't waste your money here!!!! The drinks are weak & overpriced! A patron shot at most bars is about $6.50, but not here. It's $9!!! The manager is too busy trying to bringing in new obscure beers that no one will every order & instead should be concerning himself with having competitive drink prices! If you like to play the trivia game buzztime, good luck. It's next to impossible to find a trivia box that will hold a charge for more than an hour. However, if you like to mindlessly toss a beanbag into a corn hole, this is the place for you. They've dedicated about one third of the square footage of the bar to this game! Ridiculous! I was here recently for a football game gathering and yes, it is a smokey bar. No, I don't smoke and I don't really like football. But we had good snacks and good drinks. Ordered the game day nachos and drinks, the nachos were great and easily fed 2 people plus some!! Had beer as our drinks, prices were reasonable. The waitress was really nice but we had to go find her a couple times to refill our drinks, but I do understand they were busy. Don't see what all the other fuss was about with these negative reviews.. ....came on Crown n Down night with karaoke on stage, and it was great. Ordered 25 Chipotle wings and they were out within 15 minutes. Went great with my talk blue moon. I'll sure as he'll leave our waitress a nice tip. FIND ANOTHER PACKER BAR !!!!!! First I will admit they have a decent beer selection, which was a plus. Tried this sports bar because they advertised themselves as the best Packer Sports Bar in the mid cities. Even claimed this on the radio, so figured we would give it a try. we were there Sunday October 6th. showed up 30 minutes early and found only two tables taken. That was the last positive thing to happen at this place, First we ordered drinks, i ordered a Dales Pale Ale, was asked if i wanted a short or tall beer. Opted for the tall. Waitress brought me a short, and told me they cant sell Dales in a big glass. No reason given and just walked away. When we arrived they had the Packer pregame on the big screen and on a 2nd screen next to our table. Once the game started they switched that screen to Colts/Sea Hawks which no one was watching. we requested they put the Packers on that TV and were told no, we have the Packer Game on the big screen. One TV!! and they advertise that its a Packer hang out??? Finally we NICELY asked the waitress to have the manager stop by. He never showed but came in from sitting on the patio and switched one of the smaller screens to the Packers and walked out. Never asked if everything was OK, obviously needs training in bar management. Th food order was interesting. Ordered the hot wings, which listed as wings and celery/carrot sticks. Wings came out without any veggies. Asked about them and we were told that they don't give out the veggies on the .49 cent wings because they are already losing money as it is. WHAT?? please charge 5 cents more and serve your meals as advertised. One of our party ordered a pizza and a glass of water, that order took 1 hour to hit the table. At that time the waitress asked if he wanted another beer, he said no, but i sure would like that glass of water. He was told they were out of glasses and the waitress just walked away. To be fair, she did return about 5 minutes later with the glass of water. Summary - decent beer selection, false advertising on being a Packer Fan Bar, very average food, poorly trained wait staff and management, bathrooms that smell like a bad truck stop. We wont be going back which is bad because we really hoped to find a sports bar local that caters to the Packer Fans. dont waste your time with this dive bar. read more

For me and my husband, this is our secret date spot. We have kids so we rarely get out and we keep coming to O'Shea's because we don't have to get dressed up, we don't have to wait in any line, and if we don't have a lot of time, we can play two games of pool and drink a beer in under an hour. Beers are reasonably priced and food is decent. Love the queso! Patrons have always been friendly enough and the waitresses have always been attentive. Love this local bar on most days. Today however was an unfortunate event. An order of potato skins and a brat took over 30 min! When it finally got there it wasn't the way it was ordered. And they were out of the fries that it was supposed to come with.(should have mentioned that) When sent back it took another excessive length of time and tasted like burnt charcoal.... the only plus is that our bartender Amy was amazing about the whole thing. Temperature was 60 degrees outside at 700 pm and that is warm enough to open all the garage doors? We asked if they could shut one door because the wind was blowing cool breeze in. If we would have known before we would have brought jackets. I mean when you go to the bar shouldn't you have the choice if you want to sit on the patio? LOL they bring the patio indoors. They finnaly closed the doors around 9:30 pm just before the band started. We had a great waitress but watered down drinks. Guess will stick with Broncos. read more

Never been to the place other than on Sunday's to watch Packer games. They recently did some advertising on 1310 The Ticket stating they were THE place to watch Packer games. First week I went there weren't many fans but the Packer game was on one of the Big Screens with audio. Over the next few weeks the Packer fans have increased and now really has the feeling of a Packer Bar. Really nice place with decent prices on food and drink items. Staff (although many wore Cowboys merch) were extremely nice and helpful. The biggest bonus is that their air filtration system is awesome. Even though there may be a lot of smokers it is barely if at all noticeable. I was able to take my kids with me to watch the game and not have Mama complaining about cigar and cigarette smoke. After posting, I noticed some reviews mentioning how smoky it was....apparently they have done something since then to remedy that issue. read more
