I'm not sure why people diss on this establishment. You can certainly drop into any of the establishments on Main St. In Keller, and find a hearty hookup culture. That's NOT the Pour Shack- at least not for its regulars. We're from all walks of life - pink, white and blue collar, here to enjoy ourselves, each other's company, and decompress from the 9-5. I'm honestly surprised this place is allowed to stay open in its current condition. We come here often and enjoy the live bands, but the bar itself is in terrible shape and has been neglected for a long time. When it rains, there are beer buckets everywhere trying to catch water pouring in from the ceiling. There are puddles all over the floor and parts of the ceiling look like they could cave in at any time. It feels extremely unsafe for customers and staff. Every weekend they bring in bands, but there is never enough seating. People are forced to stand and hover over others who are seated because there simply aren't enough tables. Adding more high-top tables would help tremendously. The tables, chairs, and bar stools that are there are in awful condition--many are broken, wobbly, and the cushions are completely worn out or missing. The overall cleanliness is also a problem. The bar needs a serious deep cleaning. There are cobwebs hanging from signs inside, exposed electrical wires in places, and the clear drinking glasses are not always properly cleaned. I've personally received drinks in glasses that still had lipstick marks on them. The bathrooms are another issue. The stall doors don't close properly and several toilet seats are loose. They are clearly overdue for repairs and updating. The only bright spot is the wait staff--they are friendly and do their best. But it's frustrating that you almost never see the owners around addressing any of these problems. With the amount of business this place gets on weekends, it's disappointing that basic maintenance, safety, and cleanliness seem to be ignored. They have pool tables, live entertainment, multiple bars inside and out. It's clean. The bathrooms had a slight bit of graffiti in the women' stalls, but it was nice graffiti. read more

Went on a Saturday and I believe the server was Chelsea! We walked right on in and found a table... there were a few ppl at the bar but the place was pretty empty. The menu is just regular bar food and the mozzarella sticks and the onion rings were not bad. Now we had the shots flowing and the price wasn't outrageous. Wow the service tonight sucked. We were there 30 minutes and the server didn't take even a drink order just talked to her friends . She must be not care about the other customers. I don't normally write reviews, but my experience at Pour Shack in Keller on 8/18 around 8:40 PM was so disappointing that I feel the need to speak up. We sat down expecting a simple night out -- some drinks, some conversation, the kind of thing you'd think any bar would be able to handle. Instead, we were treated like we didn't even exist. The bartender on duty never greeted us, never made eye contact, never acknowledged our presence in any way. For nearly 40 minutes, she stood around laughing, socializing, and carrying on conversations while we sat there completely ignored. There wasn't even a quick "I'll be with you in a minute." Nothing. Just silence. That kind of disregard is not only unprofessional, it's downright insulting to customers who made the effort to come in, sit down, and give this place business. After waiting far longer than anyone reasonably should, we finally gave up and walked out. Bars and restaurants live and die by their service, and in this case, the message we got loud and clear was that new customers don't matter. That's unacceptable. If Pour Shack values its reputation and wants to retain patrons, the owner needs to take a hard look at who is being trusted to represent the establishment. Staff should be attentive, approachable, and at the very least acknowledge people sitting at the bar. I'm writing this not just to vent, but to call on management to step up. This kind of service drives people away for good. If the owner cares about Pour Shack's future, then training, accountability, and higher standards of hospitality need to be enforced immediately. Otherwise, it won't just be us walking out -- it'll be every first-time guest who realizes they're wasting their time in a place that doesn't care about its customers. Went there last Saturday to go see a band my buddy wanted me to see.This place used to be Bronson Rocks which I liked better.I just don't remember paying 20 bucks for a cover charge.Not to mention people being able to smoke in this place.The venue it's self is not bad.The drinks are pretty reasonably priced.The food is pretty decent for bar food.Would I come back again?Maybe?but it would have to be a band I really wanted to go see considering 20 bucks is the cover charge.When I can do down the street to the ice house and see bands for free.It will probably be awhile before you see me back here. read more

I was living in Keller when it was opened as Bronson Rock. It turned out to be my second home. Back then there wasn't much of a bar scene in Keller so I loved going there. Great bands, cute bartenders, cool locals and the best burgers in Keller. I moved away from Keller and was back in town on a weekend, and found the name had changed as well as the clientele. Walked in the back bar during the day with my friends and sat down at the bar, but some biker looking chick bartenders just glared at us from the kitchen like we didn't belong there and didn't speak to us even though it was dead in that joint. I walked around through the courtyard and to the back to see if anyone else was there and found a bunch of bikers wearing their colors gathered at the back bar smoking their heads off. It smelled like a dirty ashtray in there. They also all looked at me like I didn't belong, so I backtracked, collected my friends and we walked to the other more civilian friendly bars. This place once was a great place for locals and the weekend warrior type bikers, but from what I saw this looked like it was a for real biker bar now. I dunno, maybe it was just the wrong time of day to be there, but I definitely didn't like the vibe. I'm planning to be in the area for the next Good Guys show so might try to swing by again and see what's what. Hopefully it has improved. read more

Hubs & I went for early dinner as we hadn't been there since it changed hands. I had the wings & hubby had a smashburger with tots. Both were delicious...the wings were large & moist & the burger was super juicy & seasoned perfectly. In fact I would go so far as to say they are the best Keller has to offer. Now that they're open for lunch, we will definitely be back. The service was good & attentive & the atmosphere is a bar with good food, so no shockers there. read more

Saw a show here last Saturday evening. We were inside which wasn't terrible Other than it was extremely warm. The waitress was great with getting our beers and customer service. Yes it may be more rundown- BUT people are friendly, you can dance without leaving soaking wet - "Great A/C and separated rooms. We did not eat, but the service was great! I'm so glad this bar is able to operate during covid because you have to go!! I went on a Friday night and had the pleasure of hearing this live band called incognito! Killer band - they rocked out. They are so good and can literally sing any song. I didn't order the food but did drink and felt everything was priced reasonable for how much our table drank. And to be clear, planning an oversold show without adequate staffing to handle customer orders falls squarely on Management's shoulders. There was ample time to have everything in place for a smooth-running event. As for the show, Incognito rocked the house down as expected. Our party of nine had a great time, aside from not getting the full order of food but at least getting something 30 minutes prior to the end of the show (started at 8:30 pm and last song was just around 11:45). My 1st experience at this bar was the worst experience of my life. I have NEVER wanted to share bad experiences I have encountered over a review BUT Due to the lack of professionalism of management and the crew I had to do something! Here is my story. Last night (1/25/20) was my mothers 50th birthday. Her and I do not do much together alone but tonight we wanted to do something different to celebrate - the night was going good until I misplaced my phone & let the bartender know my phone is missing, I spent maybe 30mins looking for my phone -after exiting the bathroom a gang of pour shack working surrounds me - female staff begun to yell at me & make me feel like they were going to "jump/fight" me asking me to exit the building. My 50 year old mother sees a group of woman surrounding me & calls the cops. The staff of Pour Shack was treating me as if I was a drunk 21 year old causing problems, which was not the case... I had spoken to the bartender expressing my situation, in a respectful way. To say the less - the staff of pour shack lied to the cops, telling the cops I was throwing glasses & destroying property. The manager (I think) ended up talking to me outside in front of the cops & during this convo the manager was rolling her eyes - speaking to me like a child, acting as if I was a drunken mess, totally not listening to the situation at hand, speaking to me like trash, in front of cops! I was NOT DRUNK - I am posting this review the following morning of this event. THIS IS THE WORSE BUSINESS TO VISIT IN KELLER! TOTAL LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM & TRULY MADE ME FEEL LIKE A CRIMINAL. ... a late evening to night entertainment and restaurant & bar. I find The Pour Shack a very comfort friendly atmosphere. You can dress casual or be dressy and feel comfortable. You can be you and be authentic and relax and have fun as there's not really a dress code, but please wear clothes with shoes and shirts etc. You see cowboy hats, cap, dew rags, bandanas and vests wranglers, and leather all types of eclectic fashion. T-shirts with a message. It's alright soon you feel like family. It's has it own abstract vibe that you have to experience. It's a restaurant, it's a bar, it's a entertainment venue. The menu is a scale down with some of their own touch and flare and tasty savory choices and appetizers and priced very reasonable. I like the Turkey Burger. The wait staff that are happy enjoyable people with their own unique personalities that like to have fun as they work attentively to provide good customer service. They provide you food and drink with the touch of laughter to cheer you up. It won't take long and you will feel the welcome too. Soon you will know their names, and you will find out for yourself why this is a great hang out place and enjoy an incredible and pleasing culture of different people. It is a friendly atmosphere as you can stroll in as single, couples, or small group. It's does appear to be a place of motorcycle rider enthusiasts gathering coming from all walks of life, interests, culture and special place to park the motorcycles. This is a place that you can free to express yourself as a patriot, and there's no doubt your are in Texas USA. I always enjoy the patio area and the outside stage and entertainment as they bring in weekly / nightly a collective of local artist (musicians) for your listening enjoyment. The bands are good and easy listening with good vocals and the bars have frosty cold craft beers on draft and bottles of domestic an exotic craft beers on hand. I am sure will will find something to fit your taste. They also provide named spirits and mixed drinks and wine too. They do also have a larger area for bands indoors with two bars in support. It makes me think of the small warehouse atmosphere, but you get that large stage and up-close to the performers experience. It has air conditioning and good lighting. I find they play feel good music and it makes you want to move, and many of the band performances bring it's own style of nostalgia and many gravitate closer to the stage to move and dance. There is plenty of standing room and place for the wall flowers too. The service team back in the larger room comes with passion and commitment to make it a great experience for you. If your lost they have some signs what to do. LOL! It had rough start, in my personal opine, but it has it transitioned fast from Bronson Rock to The Pour Shack. Didn't realize they allowed smoking indoors. The 80s cover band was great. Drinks were decent. But so much cigarette smoke.

Be prepared for a cover charge regardless if you order food or drink. You will be given wrist bands not told that you are being charged. Made to think they are are free as you are there at a table eating and drinking. Then when you get your tab. Then it is. I asked for the manager, Kay came over no discussion. I had to go find her to discuss. Her only comment was, we were there at 848 it was automatic. I told her I would not be back. She did not care. Never were we told of the cover. Very poor customer service by the manager. Larry you really need to rethink your practices. With about a third your normal attendance, this is the way your manager treats customers. read more

What can I say? I love Rock-n-Roll and I love the Pour Shack. Why you may ask? Well, yes it is divvy, but both the staff and customers make it a great place, of course the food is really good too as well as the adult beverages and they have live bands on most weekends, so check out their website for future events and plan accordingly. They are dog friendly and you can even take them inside the bar area, but not the attached restaurant due to health code restrictions. In any case, if you are in Keller's old town area and want to enjoy an afternoon or evening out, give them a try and enjoy the casual, mellow vibe. read more

I visited the Pour Shack for the first time last last Saturday and had a blast. The band, Look Out, was surprisingly good and a lot of fun. Even better, they weren't too loud. Definitely loud enough to jam out to, but not so loud that you couldn't hear the person sitting beside you. They're all really talented musicians, and it's obvious that they've put a lot of work into playing together, pretty darn tight. I didn't eat anything while at the the Pour Shack, but the drinks were good and reasonably priced, and the service was great. I will return. read more
