    Hot roast beef

O'Shea's clearly is a big hit in town! I came here for a business lunch and it was absolutely packed! I can see why. They've got a great menu with very reasonable prices, friendly staff, and nice patio. The hot roast beef was excellent! I highly recommend it for lunch. All around, it was a good experience.

BPT (breaded pork tenderloin) Sandwich - 23-Jul-2018

Loved it! We're back - it's been a year since we were last in Quincy. Today, June 11, in addition to take out and delivery, O'Shea's now has tent-covered outdoor seating. We went and two of us split a Breaded Pork Tenderloin (BPT) Sandwich and a Half Chicken Dinner - all white meat. The BPT was excellent as always. This was our first time trying their chicken. Wow - super good. It was hot, very moist inside, crispy skin outside and really tasty. Bridgett was our server and she was helpful and fun! We have lots of leftovers. Thanks O'Sheas's! See you next time.

Great breakfast served at this neighborhood bar. The waitress was awesome and running to all of her tables. I had a very good bacon and cheese omelette with very good hash browns. It was pretty crowded with locals.

Good neighborhood bar and eatery! Decent prices, service and food. The portions are good. The breaded tenderloin sandwich is just over $5 and the tenderloin patty is about twice the size of the bun. The country fried steak was good. There are daily good and drink specials. The only menu item that seems overpriced relative to the rest of the menu is the fries ($3.50). The ambience is good. There are 4-5 TVs and a pool table, lots of bar tables and booths. There is a smoking room for those inclined to smoke. The food is a bit slow coming out of the kitchen so make sure you have a drink and enjoy the company or what's on TV.

Old, hard, burnt $3 side of fries

My husband and I decided to try O'Shea's for lunch today and it is by far the worst restaurant I've eaten at in Quincy so far. If you place a to go order they charge you 25 cents per to go container and When my husband arrived home with the food and I saw it I instantly told him it not eating it and to take it back, it looked that bad. When my husband refused to return our order We tried our Philly cheesesteaks and I don't know what was worse the meat or the bun soaked in butter. The $3 side order of fries was so small and they were all hard and burnt. The food was overpriced and so disgusting. I seriously regret choosing o'sheas for lunch. I'm still hungry and wasted $40 on lunch that was basically Inedible. Do yourse

Just found out about this place 2 weeks ago and have already ate their 4 times. The breakfast is off the charts and the onion rings and dinner menu is an adventure. I can't wait to try everything. Really glad to find another place in a town that has very few enjoyable restaurants.

Typical corner bar with typical bar food. Pretty big menu though, and decent prices. Worth a try for sure.

Really good carp. Fried chicken I'd always good. Prices are fair. Breakfast is always good.

Tonight I returned to The Patio in Quincy, IL, a place that holds deep childhood memories for me…read more This was my first visit since the new ownership took over, and I brought my fiancé to share the experience. The professionalism and care truly stood out. When our food did not come out the way we expected, the staff noticed right away and asked for our feedback. The way it was handled turned it into the best service experience we've ever had. Everything was delicious. Best espresso martini we've ever had! I'm proud to come back to my hometown and see what the new ownership has created. The atmosphere and dining experience rival upscale restaurants in much larger cities, exactly what Quincy deserves. Thank you for honoring the tradition while elevating it. We look forward to many more visits.

What a disappointment! We had planned and reserved a wonderful birthday dinner with family, only to…read moreend up waiting two hours for our meals. There was a party of 45 being served, but the rest of the dining room was left completely unaware of the situation or the reason for the delay. A simple heads-up to each table BEFORE ordering would have been the appropriate and courteous approach. Our server was kind and did her best, but she was clearly frustrated--especially after sharing that the owner was in the restaurant DINING during all of this. Unfortunately, half of my family had to leave due to the unexpected long delay. After waiting an additional thirty minutes and repeatedly trying to get our server's attention through another staff member, and trying to flag her down , we ultimately gave up. My husband left $100 on the table to cover the drinks and a tip, more than enough. As we exited, he--being a restaurant owner for 35 years--turned toward the patio and waved goodbye, signaling that he will never return. It takes quite a lot for him to feel that way. This experience fell far below the standards we expect from any dining establishment.

I dropped in on a weekday, late morning, to grab a jolt of caffeine before heading out for a hot, busy afternoon. The co-owners were on site: Margarita was behind the counter and Bill was reading a book to a child nearby. The spacious room was dotted with a few other visitors, including a table of women having a lively conversation. A Sade LP was playing on the hi-fi, and as side two ended it was replaced with a snappy jazz record. The café has many food options; I chose a house-made pastry that was perfectly flaky and well-balanced. My iced latte was just right too. I sat for a bit to review some papers I'd brought, and noticed plenty of seating options. Several tables along a wall had access to outlets, for those who need to plug in devices. Margarita brought my order to me and we talked awhile (it turns out we have mutual friends in Quincy) and she happily shared her experiences of growing her business. She also pointed out the books available to read on-site, as well as the paintings on the wall by local artists. Most are available for sale. Next time in Quincy I'll make time to have lunch at Calftown--I look forward to returning!
