Located in downtown Quincy, this is a staple for a good meal. On street and public parking available. The vibe is modern and upscale. The decor, including the wallpaper are something to look at, with interesting stories. The main space is dark and intimate. There are also 2 private rooms available as well. The service is always wonderful. The right amount of attentive and friendly. There is a standard menu as well as a seasonal menu currently. Check out the desserts, boozy milkshakes, and bar offerings as well.

From start to finish our evening at The Patio was fantastic. Our server, Meghan, was knowledgeable about the menu and the intricacies of the Gluten Friendly menu which is important as my wife has Celiac. The grilled shrimp was done perfectly and our salads were ample and flavorful. I had a "small" ribeye which mostly came home in a takeaway bag because it was so big! And dessert...... I'm a crème brûlée connoisseur, and theirs was probably one of the best I've ever had. This was our first of MANY date nights to come at The Patio.

Just had breakfast there for the first time. It was very good and I will certainly go back. Andre was our server, very kind and attentive. Food was served quickly, was hot, and very fresh ingredients were used. I highly recommend trying The Patio for breakfast (served only on Sundays), they just extended their hours to accommodate those who go to late church. Ambiance is very nice, relaxing, you can carry on a conversation without a lot of noise.

Sat at the bar bartender was great. Very prompt! Have a couple Bombay sapphire martini and he stuffed blue cheese olives for us. I had the catfish it was large portion and excellent. My fries were cold but probably would not have eaten them anyway. Brussels sprouts well done. I have not been back here since they remodeled as I don't live in Texas and I would definitely return again when coming back to Quincy to visit my mom.

My favorite meal in the U.S. happened when we were passing through the small city of Quincy. I saw online that this place had a pretty good salad bar, so after watching the sunset by the river, we came over specifically to try it. Service The staff were incredibly nice. Since we were foreigners, it took us a little while to order because we had to use Google Translate. Our server was very patient--she brought us our drinks first and gave us plenty of time to figure things out. She even told us a little joke to make us feel less awkward, although unfortunately I didn't quite catch it. Anyway, once we finally ordered, she told us we could go help ourselves at the salad bar. I asked, "Is it just one trip?" and she said, "Don't worry, I'm not going to count." That was great. Food The salad bar was honestly fantastic. It had one of my favorite things: broccoli, paired with a fairly light ranch dressing. I went through two full plates of it that evening. I honestly felt like I was the only person in the whole restaurant going crazy over the broccoli, because when I first started taking some, that tray looked almost completely untouched. There were plenty of other options too: two kinds of creamy soup, four or five types of bread, all kinds of leafy greens, macaroni, mushrooms, and more. Honestly, as a Chinese guy, I could have eaten very happily--and very well--on the salad bar alone. I ordered the Baked Salmon. Well... it was basically a piece of chilled salmon that had been baked, but the real star was the sweet-and-savory sauce. I couldn't quite figure out what was in it, but overall it was very good. The salmon was cooked just right: the sauce and the surface of the fish had developed a slightly crisp, caramelized crust, without the salmon becoming overcooked. When I make salmon myself, I like to roast it with lots of cherry tomatoes and lemon to cut through the fishiness. Their approach worked well too--the sauce and the browning helped balance out quite a bit of the fishy flavor. My companion ordered a steak and gave me a small piece. It was medium well, and pretty good too. Atmosphere The atmosphere was nice. There were regular dining tables as well as a large U-shaped bar, very much the kind of classic American restaurant I had imagined. There was also a fairly large waiting area just inside the entrance, which made it obvious that this place probably gets very busy during peak hours.

We normally go to Krustaceans on 9th St.....but decided to try this place. Though I'll speak well…read moreof this place, the cost/value of this place - will (still) have me endorsing Krustaceans in Columbia. The seafood at this place, was cooked very very good. The quality of the seafood was a very clean tasting seafood. Even the shrimp had a nice clean flavor. And we're you looking for butter? Oh, they do (not) spare the sticks of butter at this place! The potato. Oh yes, I said "potato". I have never had a seafood bowl - have (just) a single potato. The potato tasted absolutely great. But 1 potato? That was a joke - especially after you see what these items cost! The garlic butter: There was plenty of butter. Tye flavoring of the butter, certainly was unique of sorts. Seemed to have (possibly) a chili powder base. And though I thought it was good...I also got tired of the taste, after a bit. The Big Downer at this place: Cost. You see my (2) platters. Add (3) cans of Coke - the cost was $150.00. Yes, that's correct: $150.00. Sure, there's a whole lobster on one of the platters. BUT, it wasn't that big by any means. And let's remember: 1 potato was included in the platter. 1 small red potato, came with it; at that price! Lol. Conclusion: Krustaceans is where you should go - for the seafood boiler platters. A much better combination of quality, value and price.

This place has really gone downhill. Had a complaint with their ordering process and was told the…read moremanager was "too busy" to speak to me despite there being only one other customer in the place. I asked for the manager's name and got the gen Z stare along with 'Kevin' but apparently Kevin's last name is a state secret. The food (cajun combo boil) wasn't as good as it used to be either. Nearly half the mussels were unopened, the sausage was a lot smaller than it used to be, and the single potato was tiny. This used to be a good place, which makes its decline kind of sad. No wonder there was only one other customer in the place.
