I had to reach out on Instagram to contact her and get an updated phone number. I then started reaching out to her via text for the follow up appointment, she kept telling me she was busy and try back next week. It is now December and I still don't have a follow up appointment. She continues to give me the runaround she could just say she's not going to complete it and let me go to somebody else, but she's been stringing me along for the last four or five months. I would not go to this woman for anything. I paid for her initial fee and tipped her very well and I feel completely disregarded by her. She is not a good business owner, she's not invested in her clients and she did a terrible job on my eyebrows, I have sent her pictures showing her that I needed follow up. I'm so glad she has packed up and left Fishtown. I would not schedule new client appointments with her. She is a negligent business owner and did not do a good job on my brows.

Vy is absolutely incredible and all of the staff who work there are so friendly and accommodating. I get an acrylic fill every three weeks and if it weren't for the fact that my nails grow quickly, I think the fills would last at least a couple weeks longer. I always end up asking Vy for her opinion on which color I should get and she nails it every time. I'm always getting compliments on not only the color, but the shape as well. I haven't gotten a pedicure here yet, but the chairs are always occupied and it seems like the staff really take their time and make it a really nice experience. I do have my standing appointment tonight, so maybe I'll see if they can fit me in for a pedicure, too! I can't recommend Les Fleurs enough. Prior to finding Majestic, I had done both gel and acrylic, but I've since switched to dip with Gel Designs, which is what Lina specializes in. Never in my life have I had my nails look this wonderful, and I truly, truly mean that. I'm not even currently in the office, and all of my colleagues want to see my nails whenever we hop on zoom meetings. Lina is such a sweetheart and I genuinely enjoy my appointments with her. I always make sure to let her know what I'm looking for prior to the appointment just so she can be prepared with colors, supplies, and appropriate time and whatnot. I barely have any lashes so getting these extensions have been such a game changer. I get so many compliments and my daily routine is now 5 mins or less which is amazing for my hectic life. The prices are competitive but I am a true believer of you get what you pay for. My extensions will last me 3-4 weeks. I work with Aimiee and Kelly, both who are great at their craft and truly take the time to listen to what you want. Not only are they concern with how glam your lashes are, they take particular care to the health of your lashes. Irene understands hair, listens, is great with feedback, talks you through the process and is overall a great conversationalist. I enjoyed some wine as we chatted about what my hair goals were and she absolutely gave me the haircut and color I asked for. I waited a couple of days post cut to report back on my experience to see how it was after I washed it- it's absolutely perfect, the hair cut, the color - I'm in love with how I look, I feel like we brought back my natural color in a dynamic way and the cut is easy to style. What was really genuine was Irene's candor about the process. She told me if I had any issues in a few days to let her know and we'd work it out. That is a true artist and stylist. I highly recommend Irene. The space is also really beautiful at Plume, one of the nicest salon bathrooms I've ever seen. I felt welcomed and really enjoyed my experience.

There was no shape and no volume; I could do (and have done) a better job on myself, in the dark with manicure scissors. They comped the whole experience, most likely so I wouldn't write this review. Three hours later I found another salon to give me a pixie. The rescue stylist confirmed that Irene's hack job was every bit as bad as I thought. I now have MUCH shorter hair than I wanted, but at least it looks intentional.

Originally I intended to get a set of lashes installed but after Izzy and I talked and my brows/lashes were looked over, we decided a lash lift and brow lamination were more my style. I figured they'd work perfectly with my weekday lazy girl makeup routine. The entire appointment was great, we chatted, I was given some much needed advice on how to start my brow grow out journey and what products can help with it, and got to learn a bit more about what the salon offers. In chatting I learned that the salon's been open for about two years and she participates in class pass, which is always a huge plus these days. She cares about making you look your best & made sure to give me an idea of what to expect at the start. I really appreciated that we talked before she started because once I got cozy, I wouldn't have been fully listening and fighting sleep. This surprises me but the appointment was actually so relaxing. I'd love to go back and see what other beauty treatments I can nap through. The space itself is super cute and has room for multiple services. There are private treatment rooms and a more open space currently for lashes & brows. The prices listed on the services menu also looked super reasonable to me - pro-tip: at home lash lifts don't go well (trust me), skip the DIY and treat yourself. My lashes look longer, darker, and perfectly lifted -- no mascara needed. The brow lamination gave my brows a fuller, more defined shape that still looks natural. This was my first brow lamination and second time getting a lash lift. The whole process was surprisingly relaxing and I was comfortable the entire time. It took about an hour in total, and the results were fantastic. I was looking for a subtle yet noticeable beauty boost since I don't wear much makeup. The vibe of the place is so chill as well. I would go back to Bibi again and again.
