One of the owners, Tuyen, did my mani and she did very well! She was meticulous and took her time (but not too much time). It showed that she cared about me as an individual versus just another client to get through the door. The salon is very cozy, cute and intimate. 4 mani stations, 4 pedi stations and 1 or 2 rooms for eyebrow services. To put a cherry on top, there is free parking in an actual lot! My mani cost $25. My favorite nail salon in south philly, if not all of Philly. Everything here is so clean and personal. The owner is so sweet, accommodating and easy to communicate with. They are all so easy to talk to but they also just get it when you want to relax and chill. There is a great selection of colors and quality polish so you have plenty of options. They also do lashes which is great for future reference. You generally need an appointment here since there is limited chairs but that is their appeal so they can focus on you. I accidentally met Sofia one day when I needed my lashes done last min (i was previously going to another lash artist) and it's been happily ever after since. I'm beyond grateful that i met her because since then, i refuse to go to anyone else for my lash extensions. She's GREAT at what she does, is constantly researching what new trends and techniques come about in the lash world and keeps herself and her clients up to date on everything. I messaged Beautique through Yelp for an appointment (it was actually pretty late at night), and Tuyen got back to me within the hour to confirm. Showed up a few minutes before the salon opened for my 10am appointment, and they took me right away. The salon is clean and beautiful--plus, there's off-street parking! Gotta love it. This is a great local salon! I scheduled an appointment for a Tuesday evening, which is required on Mondays/Tuesdays during the winter. It was very easy to schedule an appointment for the same day. When I came in, I had my gel mani and pedi done by Tien. Tien did an excellent job and was very friendly throughout the entire appointment. It's a small, new, clean studio. I also got an eyebrow wax and Tien helped even out the shape of my brows, which I've been struggling to do at other waxing studios. read more

I came here with the intention of maintaining my length (note that I had beautiful, strong, cardi b level nails before NATURALLY) and came out of this experience with something awful. I've been getting my nails done for over a year in NYC, so I'd like to think I know something about how it should properly be done. Without even taking the polish off, the tech arbitrarily started chopping down all my nails to match the two that were under Apres .. this resulted in her overly cutting my nails which then had to be further reduced when filing. Please be aware that when you say you want a "hard gel coat" (usually a $10 add on or free of charge) they do NOT put it on top of polish. The technician kept pressing me to do dip saying my nails are going to break and this and that before even evaluating my nails (which again are typically strong) so I figured she just wanted to scam me out of more money , which she did. I could not have mentioned that I wanted to keep my length any more than I already have. The hard gel coat in reference was put under my polish and resulted in a bubbly thick ass dip nail appearance (yelp isn't configured for emojis so just imagine someone vomiting cause that's how bad / unnatural it looks from the side) . Furthermore idk WHAT this salon was on because she said that the whole thing was going to BURN and to count 6 seconds under the UV and take them out after I start feeling a burning/tingling sensation at which point I was like excuse me ???? I wish I had left right then and there. That is simply not normal. Moreover the entire visit was rushed and rude , as she took phone calls in the back in between steps to order Mother's Day flowers. I am a busy person too yet still managed to show up on time and expected a 1 hr procedure as listed that ended up being 2 hrs. I repeatedly told her to stop shaving down my nail because I wanted only a subtle coffin yet she kept saying she had to in order to fix the fat nail she created. When I told her she was hurting me when using pressure on a mechanical tip to buff my nail, she simply replied "you're fine." I'm actually not fine and now have the worst nails I've ever had and paid $30 extra for something I DID not want, which she knew. She said sorry this isn't what you want as she charged me for it. Idk about y'all but my other nail techs make sure the customer is satisfied before leaving. Even when I brought it up that this isn't right midway, she should've stopped and removed the "hard gel" but instead kept going. When I go to a salon I expect a regular employee, not a new girl ALONE without training or someone covering someone's shift which she said she was doing. I do not think I should've been surcharged $30 for chemicals on my nails and a painful experience I didn't ask for, and maybe someone with basic customer experience would not have done that . And I'm speaking from someone in the food service industry so there's no excuse. Literally all I wanted was r e g u l a r gel with a hard top coat, yet I've probably damaged my nails for the next 6months from going here. Her name was Linda btw read more

Sooooooo excited to have a nice nail salon in the neighborhood! Honestly came at perfect time as my mom and I were growing more and more frustrated with our old salon. Beautique salon is beautiful, so clean and so relaxing! There are endless colors to choose from whether you want dip, gel, or regular polish. Linda and Tien were so sweet and friendly from the second we walked in and were so personable, making sure they remembered our names and making conversation. I tried dip powder for the first time and Linda explained the entire process before we began so I knew what to expect. She even made sure to ask me if I had a preferred nail shape before filing which was so thoughtful as usually techs have just done whatever they want in the past. Linda took the time out to make sure they looked absolutely perfect and that I was satisfied and I truly couldn't have been happier, I am obsessed with my nails now!
