I was so lucky to walk in a few weeks ago for my first mani/pedi there and just happened to meet Talia who is absolutely a master at what she does. I am so unbelievably pleased with my fresh mani/pedi!!! The salon itself is so cozy and pretty with tons of beautiful light fixtures and flowers everywhere. It is also immaculately clean and Talia uses amazing quality tools to do my nails. I would say it's middle of the ballpark price range when it comes to a gel mani/pedi here in the city and I can quite literally just take the 47 bus door to door which also makes it super convenient. they're so overpriced, I wanted some nails, 2 colors no design, 90 and they wanted to charge me 50$ more for a simply desing.

For the price charged, nails should look like runway nails. Overcharged and under serviced. I got a french manicure and the white looked embarrassing to say the least. Some nails are bumpy, some arched, some wide and thick, some thin, just all over the place. Im over it already because this is the third time Im completely not fully satisfied. Plus, I was there 2 times in a row for well over 2 hours, in the chair not the total wait time and process, only for nails. My natural nails are even weaker now unfortunately because of over drilling instead of proper soak offs. You have to charge for the service, not how glamorous the salon looks!! Disappointing! Had the nerve to charge me $97 freaking dollars for this mess and this is how they looked AFTER having to fix them, taking another day out of my busy schedule to "fix" them. I went in for a first time visit and I was blown away. I was always loyal to my usual nail salon but my friend and I wanted do try some place different. The moment you walk in, you get greeted so kindly and welcoming. My friend and I were walk ins and were seen immediately. We wanted a full set and a pedicure. Workers gave us options including a spa pedicure. We took this offer and it didn't disappoint. They also suggested doing dip powder for our nails. I was on the fence with this due to my past experience with dip powder but decided to give it a second chance. When we got our pedicure, they offered us drinks, like water and wine. The spa pedicure was so relaxing and they gave us the scrubs and conditioners. We got offered the deluxe so we also had hot stone. Def worth if you're on your feet all day and want to treat yourself. I asked for tips when I got my manicure because I wanted do try something different. The worker was able to help me figure out a good length and guided me through the process. They're super kind and funny, they use pedicure tub liners for ultimate hygiene safety, they give fantastic hot rock massages on my legs and feet, and they have an incredible selection of colors and design options. LOL. what an interesting experience this was. i just wanted a basic pedicure with normal polish. when i walked in the girl at the first chair immediately seemed annoyed that i came in. mind you, there are 3 other women getting full sets done still, so it wasn't like i was the only person there. the short hair lady was grilling me about my shoes because they have no place to allow you to dry your nails????? i asked if she had the normal flip flops & she was like yeah & i was like thats fine my cars right outside i'll sit there. BIGGEST EYE ROLL. she also gave me hella attitude about checking in & there was no pen to actually write with, so yeah didn't know what to do. the lady who did my nails said nothing to me & finished my toes in 15 mins, fast as shit in my opinion. she did an okay job. the nails are crooked, not buffed & the cuticles could have used more love, but reminder, she did it in 15 mins. the only reason for 2 stars is because it is very clean. i'll give them that. read more

Just went to Harmony for my first time, and had a wonderful experience! I got a (basic?) pedicure for $27, it included hot stones, and leg massage. The facility is extremely tidy and pretty, and the women who did my nails was very kind. My only thing would be that there is no where to lock your bike up outside. My friend and I had to lock up on Oregon which doesn't feel very safe. Regardless of that I would definitely go back as well as tell my friends to check it out. Thanks! read more

Let me start by saying that they were very accommodating in that i called at 1pm and asked if they could take me soon. I let them know I had a hair appointment at 3pm a few blocks away. I was told to come right in and did. By 1:15pm, I was in a chair, started on. The girl pushed me to get dip instead of the gel that I requested because she said it would be quicker (never letting on that it was more expensive). Her paint job was, we'll say "less than impressive". Not to mention the fact that the dip doesn't give an even color throughout the nail - some of my nails appear as though they are ombre, some don't. The girl's file work could use help, she sliced my fingers up in 3 spots (which every girl knows you don't know for sure until later) AAAAAND there were parts of my nail that was, like, cemented to my skin. She left it like that. I later had to pry my skin and under my nail apart on my own. She barely performed a full pedicure, no massage, no hot towel, no cuticle cutting - even commenting that my feet were already smooth, so she didn't have to do any hard scrubbing - complete with rushing that paint job, since it was now 3:05pm and I was late to my haircut. (I think an hour and half is MORE than enough time to complete an acceptable gel manicure and basic pedicure, but I digress) The owner checked me out... she took my hand to the light to "inspect" the paint and went out of her way to say how pretty it was. She also mentioned that the dip is a great choice because it "lasts longer". I'm not an idiot, I'm aware NO matter what's in my nails, it's going to grow out at the same rate. Also, I KNOW it's because she saw that the color was bad. (At this point, I didn't notice it myself, but did later that day.) The real NAIL in the coffin for this joint is... are ya ready?? Dip manicure, basic pedicure. Should be, like, what? $50? Nope! $80. EIGHTY DOLLARS. Like I didn't just receive SUBPAR SERVICE on FIFTH AND OREGON IN SOUTH PHILLY! lol. I was in a rush, so i just paid and ran out so that I didn't miss my haircut appointment completely. To their credit, the place is clean and decorated very pretty. If you go in, be sure you're clear on what you're getting (but don't expect too much) and how much they're going to charge you, otherwise they WILL take advantage of you. read more

Was in there yesterday the female had my nails cloudy looking . I am being married on October 23. The boss made her redue the dip powder. But the one fingire she put a tip on she was very hesitant on and now it's friggin chipped off for my wedding tomorrow. I'm so friggin mad 80 bucks plus a 20 tip and now my ring hand looks like shit. And I can't even freaking have it fixed since they don't open until 10 am and I and I have to be in NJ by 9 for my hair. I WILL NEVER GO BACK! And I'm going to tell all my friends I work with don't ever go there to get your nails done. They overcharge and mess up and don't even take off money for your time. I went to get a full set of acrylic nails. The owner tried to talk me into the powder version and I asked if it was better and she said, "healthier".... whatever that means. The nail tech did make the nails look beautiful but 2 of them popped off like press on nails (it didn't even hurt) within 2 days. The first day I went back. The owner looked at my nail and didn't even apologize. They charged me to replace the nail but it was with a different tech. This tech had NO IDEA what she was doing. She did the color powder first and then had to remove it . I ended up with one giant middle finger nail that didn't match the rest. When the second nail popped off the day after, I wasn't going back for that nonsense again to pay to make my nails uglier. I will not be going back, ever. read more

I'm a little late writing this however...i went in for an eyebrow wax a couple of months back. I came home and actually looked close in the mirror and they were so crooked it was ridiculous. One was higher..more hair etc. I went right back where when i nicely asked them to fix them...they sat me in chair for over a half hour and proceeded to laugh while looking at me and talking in another language till i finally asked them what was so funny. The girl came to fix them and kept saying it was my eyebrows....funny but they were fine the last 25 years i've been getting them done everywhere else. She actually tried to fix them and made them worse...needless to say i was very upset and had to go buy eye pencil to fill in the bald spots which i never had before. Hadn't been to a nail salon in more than a year because of covid and decided to go a couple days before Mother's Day. Was glad to see they are only working by appointments, no walk-ins, and they have Plexiglas barriers between every pedicure station. They have barriers at each manicure table and everyone needs a mask. There we're only 4 customers including myself there that day (this was a Wednesday at 3pm) and I felt safe and comfortable. Just came in to this salon today for a gel mani as a walk-in. I was seen immediately and was wowed by not just the calming vibes but also how CLEAN it was! I've seen some pretty sketchy salons and this one is as clean as it gets. Technicians open the sterilized tool packs in front of you and the pedicure tubs have single use liners in them. I was seen by Nina for my gel manicure and was wowed by how she took her time with my nails and made sure I was okay with the shape and length of my nails before putting on polish. Immediately I could tell they (the lady doing my nails and the manager) were uncomfortable with my selection. I let them know I was happy to pay more since I knew that my manicure is more work than the average job. My offer of more $$$ certainly didn't lighten the mood and the person doing my nails acted very frustrated with the act of opening multiple bottles. Im updating my review. I have been a customer since the shop opened, over a year ago. My average mani pedi with gel nails used to run me $52 a visit. Now with both mani pedi as gel with spa feet scrub an average visit cost $70! I was very upset today, as a loyal customer, with tons of referrals to help grow their business. Today, I asked for the tv to be changed to something more RELAXING than sports. Today sports can not only be an aggressive pasttime, it can be political. Sports is not a channel for a spa. I was OFFENDED because one customer WHO WAS NOT WATCHING THE CHANNEL, until I asked got full authority over the channel. WTF?! That is not logical for business. This person got to watch the spirts channel for OVER AN HOUR! I asked that cooking channel or somethjng neutral be put on. Fashion, nsture, anything else. The OWNER KIM, told me no. I think thats rude. There should be a 30 min max rule or something because no customer should be superior over another! My $100-$140 a month is just as valuable. Rude and seems biased in a bad way.
