Mini Love Boat

O Sushi has some of the freshest sushi in the metro. You can't go wrong with the mini love boat. You can add a speciality & house roll of your choice. Our service was great and ambiance was nice.

Finally found the time to dine here. Been craving sushi, so we went with the mini love boat. Plenty of food for two. It was delicious. We loved the tuna, yellowtail, salmon and whitefish. We also got to choose two special rolls which were also outstanding. The miso soup that we started with was good. Overall, lovely and clean place, nice staff, good quality fish for fair pricing. Will be back soon to try more of the specialty rolls.

Steak hibachi

This place was a nice change up in our usually sushi spots. I really like the bamboo wall and cleanliness. Not a lot of staff, but they are efficient. We have tried the crab Rangoon and calamari for appetizers. I did enjoy the crab Rangoon but I wouldn't order the calamari again. It wasn't bad just too chunky for my preference. For our meals, we tried the steak hibachi, the salmon hibachi, which come with soup and salad. We also ordered the shrimp tempura roll, the eel roll, and the triple roll.

Chicken katsu with shrimp and vegetable tempura

O sushi is the place to go if you want to eat real Japanese food! I've tried chicken katsu and shrimp and vegetable tempura bento box and also ordered dragon roll. Chicken is nice and tender. Tempura is very authentic real Japanese! Sushi is very good because sushi rice is so good and fish is very fresh and tasty! I also tried yakitori chicken which is nice and delicious with good taste sauce. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you want to eat good Japanese food! I will definitely come back and try more menus!

If I had to sum up my visit in a few words, I'd say great service and amazing food! My husband and I have ordered sushi as takeout from here a few times, but tonight we decided we wanted to try ramen for the first time so we chose to dine in. We entered the establishment and I noticed they have a 98 health rating, which definitely makes me feel good. We're almost immediately welcomed by a nice lady who quickly seats my husband, me, and our boys. My kids wanted Miso Soup and sushi rolls and my husband and I wanted ramen. The lady who greeted us was our waitress as well and she answered the questions we had about some of the ingredients in the ramen. I ordered the Beef Ramen and had spicy miso paste added for a kick. My husband decided on the Roasted Duck Ramen and asked that the bean sprouts and scallions be removed. The kids food was brought out first and I was really impressed by the presentation of the sushi rolls. They were garnished with edible flowers, which they ate. Our ramen was brought out not too shortly after and it looked so good! We can officially say we love ramen! We both enjoyed ours and it was definitely more than enough food. All the ingredients paired well together. Our waitress surprised us with some sliced fruit as dessert, which my kids loved. She was very attentive to us during our visit and really helpful. When she brought our ticket, she had some candy that was really good. It tasted like mango. We will definitely be back to this gem we discovered!

This was my first time to come here and I absolutely loved it. I had gone to another Korean BBQ…read morerestaurant before but Stone Age III completely changed my entire perspective of Korean BBQ itself. The staff were all so so nice and constantly checked on us. And answered all of our questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with our friends and the food tasted amazing. What made me happy was after enjoying all of that delicious food I never once felt bloated or felt it was too much. I can definitely tell We will be coming back here again soon! The atmosphere was clean, fun, and entertaining.

I was really curious to try the only Korean Hot Pot restaurant here in the Hoover/Birmingham area…read more It was alright; I think because I've had so many really good hot pot experiences growing up, I held my expectations here a bit steady. But I think it's great that they have a place like this here. So, the menu is limited, but it is great for a novice hot pot customer because they won't be overwhelmed. There is only one type of noodles you can get (glass noodles), and only a few selections of red meat and vegetables. But hey, I won't complain, because you can't get it elsewhere. The meat I received were super fatty. There were some when the fat was around 80% of the meat itself. Veggies were good! They have a bar of sauces and other foods you can get and add to your hot pot. Broth was fine, it wasn't anything particular to rave about. The service was great - people were so friendly and nice. They tended to us pretty well. The ambience was really cool! They have screens around the restaurant that play K-pop music videos, which was a super cool touch. 5/5 for the ambience.

My husband and I celebrated his birthday at this restaurant on yesterday. We drive by this…read morerestaurant often because it's in a plaza that we visit on a regular basis. When we walked in on yesterday evening, we were immediately greeted and told that we could seat ourselves and we would be helped shortly. A woman came by our table with menus and told us about what we could order from the bar. I was completely sold when she told me she had an alcoholic drink that included Boba, which was called Boba on the Beach. It was really good. We looked over the menu which had a nice variety of Asian fusion type dishes. We placed our order and it didn't take too long for us to get our food. Everything was flavorful. The service was good so I'm sure we'll be back to this restaurant soon.

Last weekend me and a few friends went to check out Glass Panda Asian Street Food for my birthday…read more Here's how my experience started. From first look this place looks pretty cool from the outside to the inside. The pictures and painted walls were esthetically pleasing. I could see many people taking photos all around that place. Even the bathroom had a cool Panda picture on it. We were also informed by staff that there is a lot more to be done there. Of course we ordered tons of food but I will only be speaking on what I ate there. Let's start with the Korean Corndogs. I got one regular and the other one covered in blue Takis. The regular one was good, hot, and crunchy. They don't really look like traditional Korean Corndogs so visually they don't look good at all I would definitely recommend them do it the traditional way if possible. However the way they stack it is great. How most K-Dogs are done you have the cheese at the top and the hotdog at the bottom. Here they do cheese meat cheese meat like a kabob and to me that's how all K-dogs should be. I definitely preferred the original one over the Taki one. The OG gets an 8/10 and the Taki one a 7/10. The scores would be higher for both but I knocked a point for the presentation and the Taki one didn't taste like Taki at all and in my opinion I would have used hot cheetos instead. I also tried the Korean Fried Chicken nuggets and those were really good. The flavor was there and so was the crunch and that juicy chicken. Highly recommend these (they also have regular KFC drumstix/legs). 8.5/10 Next up the Bulgogi Bao. The buns were super soft like pillows which was a great start. The meat itself was good but could have been just a bit more tender. When you eat bulgogi beef it should nearly melt in your mouth. With that said whatever the sauce that was used was a bit salty but not inedible. I also would have preferred a cold slaw in there besides lettuce to help cut the salt with the sauce. That sweetness of the slaw would have made a huge difference. 6.8/10 Everything else that was ordered according to my friends was well received and we all left with empty plates and only 1 Togo box. Final thoughts: I will definitely come back here to eat again no question. I would love to see takoyaki added to the menu as well as some street food dessert items I could name a few. But this place was great. The staff was awesome and took time out to speak with us and gave great back story about the restaurant as well as some great recommendations. The drink menu is awesome to with lots to choose from, from milk tea all the way to alcohol. Service alone was 10/10 great staff. Decor was 9.5/10. If you have not been here yet please go check this place out. I'm already ready to go back!

I'm wondering if it was my fault for not ordering hibachi from the demonstration grill, but I was thinking since the restaurant was empty I was going it a service ordering from a table, but my soup and salad came out after my hibachi meal. I think the waiter forgot about it because I had to so if it was still coming. When it did come, the soup looked like mostly water (see photos) and the salad was over drenched in dressing. I've never seen that much dressing in a salad my entire life. The meat wasn't hot but the fried rice really saved the day. It was salty, but I prefer mine that way. I like the location of this place so I'm hoping that next visit will be different.
