A tea lover Visiting Las Vegas there were several places on my list and on this thunderstorm drenched day I decided for some hot bowl of hand pulled noodles followed by some yummy tea and on my way in the corner of my eye I noticed this tiny shop almost hidden by the surrounding biz and thankfully there was no one on the road made a sharp turn since the actual destination was more than 20+ minutes away. Their storefront is a cute and simple sign though as soon as we stepped in wasn't prepared to see the cute and vibrant decor of KAWS with floor to ceiling art, super cute neon Instagram worthy wall with some industrial vibe. The owner comes up with some unique sips like Avocado Coffee Latte which comes with fresh avocados but I found something that I normally don't find basically anywhere and it's "Genmaicha"!! Genmaicha tea with Matcha Milk Foam to be exact and it was the perfect cup that I couldn't get enough of! Matcha milk foam was light but not too sweet and the Genmaicha was a light and had the hint of roasted tea flavor while the Super Mix Fruit Tea with Crystal Boba I had it with Four Seasons Tea and the mixed fruit was chopped up versus large slices which we really like better and appreciate it being so fresh and refreshing. As we sat and enjoyed the coziness of this shop the staff was just so nice and friendly we almost didn't want to leave but had a long drive to go but will definitely be back as this type of cup was crafted for comfort. This is one of the few boba shops I go to weekly now. I only get their "avocado sago." Although the name has sago in it, there's actually no sago, lol. It definitely was really annoying in the beginning when I found out about it because it actually comes with crystal boba as a topping and I'm not a fan of crystal boba whatsoever. Now I always customize to leave out the crystal boba and 50% sweet; it's the perfect combo for me and I'll go on the weekends to pick me up one. They do have an O Tea Bar app for rewards and it's a shame that their rewards isn't like the typical, buy 10 drinks, get a drink free. It takes a lot to rack up $ cash back rewards. Aside from the aforementioned, I adore this place and will continue making weekly trips for the duration of the hot summer! read more

I cannot believe I have not reviewed this place considering I LOVE IT! I get the same thing every time I go, the Super Mix Fruit Green Tea (75% sweet). It comes with crystal boba but I always swap it out for mango popping boba. It also comes with pieces of fruit mixed in the tea. The customer service here is always amazing and there is a nice amount of seating. The only thing that may deter some folks away about the seating/tables is that they are lower to the ground. But that doesn't bother me! The restaurant is located in a shopping center with Dipped by Dee and Phin Smith. If you've been to this area then you know parking can be hard to come by if these restaurants are busy. But good thing is you don't have to wait long to get a spot. O Tea Bar is located directly next door to T.E.A Scalp Hair Spa. So, after my niece and I completed our service at 7pm, we decided to check this cafe out for some boba tea. As soon as we walked in, our immediate was reaction was "This place is so cute!" The interior consists of KAWS Bearbricks in bright primary colors while on the other side, a wall full of art and furniture in pastel shades. Altogether, a warm and inviting place to enjoy some drinks and treats with your favorite people. I was initially craving for an avocado smoothie, but I quickly noticed a side menu which featured new items. I have never seen or tasted an Avocado Coffee Latte, so today was the day! My niece ordered the Ube Coffee Latte. We both enjoyed our beverages while sitting down and continued to admire the decor. If only this place was closer to our home. I would visit often. Next time I'd like to order a small bite to eat, such as Sweet Potato Fries or Truffle Fries with Parmesan Cheese! Service was polite and the drinks came out in a timely manner. Kumquat Lemon Four Season Tea With Matcha Crystal - Normal Ice/100% Sweet ($6.25): You can taste the four season tea but the kumquat lemon was a bit too sour for my taste, especially when drinking it alongside my fresh fruit sago which made the contrast more noticeable. We tried the spa next to this place and this boba place was calling me. I just had to try it. The place is so cute. There is an ATM looking machine upon entry to place your order and pay. Found this place totally by accident. I was looking for the coffee shop next door when my daughter saw this place and ran in. As soon as we got in, we were greeted by really friendly people and we immediately fell in love. The place had some really cute seating and decor. We were literally going ooooh and aahhh all while taking pictures. There's a cute lighted mirror to the right when you walk in so make sure you do a selfie there. lol My daughter loves mango sago and said this is one of the best she's had. This spot is hard to get to since they share a tiny lot with a couple of other businesses - one of which is Phin Smith coffee. The location is cute with fun decor and a selfie mirror, neon lights, etc. The menu is surprisingly large for a drink shop, and they also have a few snacks to order (ie popcorn chicken). I got a seasonal white peach tea drink and their ube latte, both iced, both half sweet, no boba - the tea was solid, still pretty sweet even at 50% so plan accordingly. The coffee was a let down, mostly tasted like milk, def go next door instead for your coffee fix. On the plus side, they do use real fruit instead of syrup for their fruit-based tea drinks and slushes. Service was attentive and staff were friendly. Their avocado sago sounds solid but the gal in line ahead of me was confused that there was no "sago". This place has potential, nice to have an option in the area but wouldnt go out of my way to go back here specifically. read more

O Tea Bar is a very well-Yelped bubble tea shop on Jones just north of Warm Springs. As of the time of this review, they boast a strong 4.9 on Yelp. I was on this side of town this afternoon, so I had to stop by to check it out. Jasmine Osmanthus Green Milk Tea ($5.50): I'm pretty certain based on context clues (the vegan milk options posted) and comparing this to how milk feels (yes, I'm the rare Asian with some level of lactose tolerance) that they use fresh milk, not some sort of creamer. That's pretty cool! It's hard to find a business that does so.. However, it may also not be popular because milk tends to mute any other flavors happening, which is the case here. Yes, I do get some floral notes, but it's not the ideal level of jasmine or tea for me. I did appreciate that they gave less ice and less sugar as requested at least. Passionfruit Green Tea ($5.25): I've been looking for a replacement for the Meet Fresh version. This is not bad, and it tastes of both passionfruit and green tea. However, the acidity and distinct passion fruit character is just a bit too diluted. Maybe getting this one less sweet was a slight error on my part? That said, I would happily order this again since it seems authentic, assuming that they don't just buy passionfruit seeds in bulk somehow. Drinks are all 700ml, which is roughly 24 fl oz. I didn't opt to try any of the toppings today, but they have a good variety. The seating area is relatively generous and seems to be divided into one side with metal barrels repurposed for chairs or tables, and the other side with more comfy cushioned seats. O Tea Bar is a good option if you live in the area or are looking for something after a meal at a nearby restaurant. They also seem to have some more unique tea options like white grape oolong and some "Drinkable Style Dessert" items with sago, which I may have to check out in the future. It's more of a testament to the strength of their competitors that I can't rate them higher. read more

O Tea Bar is pretty new in the valley and is located at the plaza on Jones and Warm Springs. They are the first business to be opening up in that plaza. Since they're so close to the house, I've been there about three times now -- each time I tried something different. First thing I would like to point out is that their drinks do not run sweet and it looks like they use real fruit vs syrup. So if you like your drinks sweet, I am not sure if you'd like O Tea Bar's drinks. Second thing, O Tea Bar isn't your typical boba joint. The items they have are not the same as everywhere else -- they do have somewhat of a different menu than most boba joints. So far, I've gotten to try: Fresh Taro Slush with Taro Boba - I think I got this at 50% sweet and it was perfect! It was super delicious and full of taro flavor. The color isn't bright purple, which suggests that they did not use powder as most taro powders are bright purple. Definitely recommend this drink if you like taro. Fresh Mango Slush with Crystal Boba - There wasn't an option to get this at 50% sweet but honestly, even at 100%, it wasn't too sweet. It is mango puree with ice topped with coconut milk, which is very refreshing. I think it could use less ice as it seemed a bit watered down throughout. Still pretty good. Super Mix Fruit Green Tea with Crystal Boba - I really liked this as it is very tea forward. I did get it at 100% sweet, which wasn't too sweet but I personally would do 50% next time. I also find that there was a good passion fruit flavor in this, which is great for me. The only downside is ... I couldn't get to all the fruit cause it kept getting stuck in between the ice. If you want to eat all the fruit, you might have to pry the lid open and just spoon it. Mixed Fresh Fruit Sago with Coconut Milk - This is under their drinkable style dessert, and it reminded me of a Chinese dessert. It's very light flavored, and since we got it at 50% off, it wasn't sweet at all. It was very refreshing and would recommend if you like coconut milk! I would recommend 100% sweet for this one though. Avocado Sago - This is also another drink under their drinkable style dessert. I think it's avocado slush with mango and coconut milk? I'm not really sure but my husband got it at 100% sweet and it was really good. Definitely would recommend this if you like avocado and mangos. Service is very good as well. They always checked up on us to make sure we like the drinks before we leave. They have a kiosk you could use to order your drinks too if you don't want to talk to a person. I personally like using the kiosk cause it takes me a while to decide what I want. Also, interior design is super cute! read more

You can walk up to the counter to order or order off of a machine near the entrance. Staff also seemed very attentive and available to help. There was 1 other customer while we were there. The drinks are about average priced to most boba shops now at around $6-7. Drinks were delicious! The fruits in my drink were super fresh and the drink overall was very refreshing and not too sweet. Interior is adorable with cute decor and cheerful atmosphere. They have plenty of seating and play awesome music of K-pop songs by Blackpink. Placing an order is done in three ways, at the store, using the kiosk, or through the app. When ordering via app, there is a charge but the order goes through instantly and they're quick in preparing for pick-up, it's a useful feature and very convenient especially for people on-the go. Sky prepared all the food and everything is very delicious! Takoyaki (6 pieces, $7.95) is so flavorful, tempura shrimp (6 pieces, $7.95) is nice, crispy, and tender, and golden fried surimi scallop (8 pieces, $7.95) is very tasty with the dip. Each item was served atop fresh cabbage, so good! The drinks are amazing! I had Mango Sago ($6.95) with no sugar, the mango has a natural sweetness and remains delicious. The decor in the place is full of pop art and has a lot of comfortable couches. We were told to order at the machine right by the entrance, which was great because we were able to see all the options and customize to our liking. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like they have vegan milk options here as I did not see it listed as an option for their milk teas, so I opted for one of their fruit teas. I am not a fan of sour things or overly sweet things, but it had a good balance. I imagine ordering this at 100% sweetness would satisfy those with sweet tooths but be too much for those who don't like super sweet things. I was a fan of the matcha crystals because the matcha taste could be tasted even through the sourness of the drink. I also liked the somewhat crunchy texture of the crystals. I give this drink a 3 out of 5. Mango Green Tea w/ Milk Foam: My husband ordered this at 50% sweetness with golden boba. I tasted the golden boba and the texture was great but lacked any flavor and sweetness. If that is your type of boba, definitely go for the golden boba. The drink itself was good; not too sweet. My husband gives this drink a 4 out of 5. So far, I'm more impressed by the decor and seating areas than the drinks I saw on their menu. Another upside is that they serve fried finger foods, though we did not get to try it on our first visit. I would be more of a repeat customer if they offered some vegan milk options. New tea spot opened near my area so I had to check it out! Upon first stepping in I was immediately greeted by the staff and noticed the awesome decor. Cool paintings on all of the walls of the interior, bright seats, open space, and super clean. The two drinks I tried were the mixed fruit coconut milk sago and a mango slush with crystal boba. I'm lactose intolerant and I asked if they could make the drinks without milk and the staff assured me that they could make the drinks without any dairy (a huge plus for me). I also noticed that this spot offers a large variety of toppings and many that I've never seen before (like different flavored crystal bobas)! You can also adjust the sweetness (which I did) and the staff followed up with me to make sure that I liked the drink after I had tried it (great customer service)! Drinks came out quickly and were delicious. Packed full of fruits and toppings. I will definitely be back to try some other drinks (all of their teas looked bomb). Amazing boba place, I'm really picky with my milk teas but the one I got was 11/10. The boba was a good consistency and the tea had great flavor (I got 50% sugar which was perfect). My sister also got the truffle fries which was really yummy as well! Great for sharing. The ambiance was super cute great for photos and there was plenty of variety in seating. The workers are also super friendly, you can order from the self serve kiosk or at the counter. After they brought the drinks out to us they checked on us to see if we liked everything and if the sugar levels were okay. 11/10 highly recommend coming here, my only criticism would be that it's a little hot so you probably wouldn't want to sit there too long. read more
