The tea selection is plentiful and the food is so good. I especially always enjoy their scones paired with the whipped butter and jam. Tea Terrace is adorable. The decor is fanciful, whimsical, and fun. The assortment of hats to try on and picture worthy settings is perfect. The food is picture worthy as well. Tastewise, there are better tea shops in Vegas. The scones were overbaked and clotted cream was not offered with the summer afternoon tea menu. The macarons were stale. No tongs were provided to remove the tea bags from their pots. The server was friendly but so busy with another table that she may as well have been not there. However we did opt for the summer afternoon tea menu which was $25 a person and the perfect size. How cuuuuute! I came here at the recommendation of the owner of another tea place in Florida. This did not disappoint! I made reservations for me and 4 friends, our table was in the back area and felt like a lovely space. It is a very intimate space, I think there were something like 4 to 6 tables up front and then 3 tables in the back. It's incredibly cute in there! We each chose our own tea, and we had 2 people with the vegan food. I loved the bites! On the non-vegan side our food was a chicken salad sandwich, egg salad sandwich, something else I wasn't too sure of, scones with clotted cream and jam, and 3 different desserts (a mousse, cannolis, and I think some sort of red velvet cake). It felt like a very good size lunch when it was all done. Once we chose our tea, they brought it out and flipped the timers on the table for our different types. The only thing about this that knocked a star off was the fact that at the Florida tea place, they steeped it for you and brought the finished pot. Here, you have to steep it and we didn't realize you should take the bag out (we don't drink tea in our normal at home lives). So as we sat there and talked, our teas got really bitter from sitting so long. Other than that, we had a wonderful experience! I've been to The Tea Terrace close to ten times now, and it has easily become one of my favorite experiences in Las Vegas. As far as I know, it's the only true Victorian-style high tea in the city, and the atmosphere alone sets it apart. The décor is absolutely immersive. Everything--from the furniture to the china to the floral walls--is thoughtfully curated in full Victorian style. Even pieces of china with minor flaws are repurposed creatively and hung from the ceiling with ribbon, which adds charm instead of hiding imperfections. You can tell an enormous amount of care went into building the space. It feels ornate, original, and intentional rather than staged. I've tried both the Royal Afternoon Tea and the Samovar experience. The Samovar, in particular, is unique and worth trying at least once. It takes extra time to prepare (they even use a converter for the kettle), but it produces a noticeably stronger brew--especially for lighter teas like white tea. It's a different ritual entirely and makes the tea feel more substantial. The afternoon tea menu offers great variety: Royal, King, Queen, Duchess, Duke, Prince and Princess options, as well as a regular high tea and other specialty sets. The Royal option includes caviar and a choice of Prosecco or mimosa, which distinguishes it from the King and accounts for the higher price point. The portions are generous, and pricing feels reasonable for the overall presentation and atmosphere. They also serve alcoholic beverages for those who want to pair their tea with something sparkling. The pastries and savory items are consistently solid and well executed. What truly elevates this place, though, is the service. It is genuinely excellent. If a tea isn't strong enough or you'd like more, they don't simply top off with hot water--they bring a fresh pot. That level of attentiveness says a lot about how they approach hospitality. They also regularly host themed events. My most recent visit was for a Harry Potter tea party, and it was beautifully executed--visually impressive and thoughtfully designed, with flavors that matched the theme. This is our second visit and it has become a tradition for my sister and I when we come to Las Vegas. We opt for the Royal Tea service with an extra pot of tea. Not because it's needed but because we really enjoy the tea variety they offer. It's a perfect place to relax catch up and eat a delicious spread of food. It's decorated with a charming and tea oriented style with little tea cups and kettles hanging from the ceiling. The hats they have available complete the ambiance without having to pack one myself. I believe there's only 6 tables (unless there's another room?). I only saw one staff working. She's welcoming and took care of everyone. We ordered Queen's tea set and we all got an individual tea pot. I asked for apricot green tea and I enjoyed it. I didn't add sugar to my tea. Food and tea came out quickly. I thought the price was worth the quality and service we received. I really liked that they let you borrow hair accessories if you didn't bring one. Had a relaxing afternoon tea with my friend. We had fun picking out our headwear (they have cute hats, headbands and clips) and browsed the selection of teas for sale. I really wanted to love Tea Terrace because the interior is absolutely adorable. Super cute décor and very Instagram-worthy, definitely a great spot for photos. The tea itself was fine and they do have a huge tea menu, which is a plus. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the presentation and felt pretty underwhelming for the price. The atmosphere also wasn't the warmest or most welcoming, which made the experience feel a bit stiff and overpriced overall. I've been to other tea rooms like Queen of Hearts and found them far better in both food and overall experience. When it came time, I happily walked into this whimsical tea room. There are lots of little details to get lost in. I picked out a hat from their collection and started their Royal Afternoon Tea service with my perfectly garbed friend. The teas and teirs that rolled out were lovely. Delicious leafy brews and a gorgeous assortment of goodies filled our table. The Royal Service included caviar, finger sandwiches, desserts, and all the other fancy tea accompaniments. Each aspect wasn't too bad. Overall, it was a pleasant experience that went on without a hitch. There is a 90 minute sitting rule that we weren't very mindful of but extremely thankful they didn't kick us out to the curb as soon as that time arrived. To update the review: We did indeed discuss upcoming events with the staff. I don't feel it's polite to tell someone we disliked the tea, and the food, and the service was poor, while in their establishment. In my experience, it's better to be polite, tell others of our experience, and simply never return, than to cause any sort of an uncomfortable or unpleasant conversation to take place. The pumpkins were not offered to us to take home. I'm glad others had better experiences at this establishment, but my experience stands. Rating 4 stars solely for the availability of scones and clotted cream close to what I had in England. Service was more like 3 stars, and price is 2 stars. They advertise on their menu that scones are available for purchase separately to go, but when we called they were kind of confused and needed to make sure they could do it for us. When we arrived, it was clear that this is more of a kitschy attraction for people who don't mind high prices for an experience. It's cute inside, but $25 for 6 scones is a little extreme. They're just sweetened biscuits with jam. I almost wanted to tell them to keep them, but the taste of the UK was too tempting so I caved. They also tied it in a Target bag, which again, struck me as odd since they advertise to go scones on their menu. Perhaps I saw an older version? We ordered the Queen's Afternoon Tea, which came tantalizingly arraigned in a beautiful display: Homemade scone with clotted cream and preserve: I would describe this is half way between an English scone and an American scone, as it wasn't exactly light, and does not crack horizontally. It was difficult to make it pop apart and it ended up being sideways. It was hard to eat due to this. The preserve was also very viscous and difficult to spread. English cucumber sandwich: This was an open faced sandwich with thin slices of cucumber and thinly spread cream cheese. Tarragon egg sandwich: This was delicious and the tarragon provided a nice flavor Lingonberry and black currant chicken on a cracker: Yum! There were whole black currants in this and I was suprised at how well the sweetness played well with the shredded chicken. Turkey bruschetta: I don't think we got this since instead we got a half of a piece of a deli wrap. The wrap was like play-doh in texture and was very unappealing. Assorted petite desserts and fresh seasonal fruits: A tartlet topped with a blackberry, mango mousse, and mini strawberry cupcake, with cut watermelon, cantalope, and Bing cherries. The strawberry cupcake I liked the least since it tasted like boxed cake mix. Single pot of loose leaf tea: I chose the organic jade oolong. I was kind of confused because they keep the packet of tea in the pot for the entirety of your meal, but tea I've brewed at home has a set steeping period. I thought it was light on flavor. I also tried the organic white peony and liked it much better since it had a strong yet delicate flavor. They definitely nail the tea vibe, wonderful details everywhere you look, and pleasant music (our fav crooners crooning). They brought two of the four pots of tea out and started the table timer, so when the next two pots came out, it was unclear how long they should steep. The tea was ok in terms of quality/flavor. They're supposed to be loose leaf, but they were in large tea bags. They didn't look like the fill-in-yourself tea bags, either. Food. Scones were amazing! Other food was so-so. Savory was decent. First thing: they only take reservations and each reservation is for two hours with 3 pm being the last available. There are four tables with one table being for a bigger party of about 6-8. Upon entering the establishment you are overwhelmed with the interior. There are tons of tea cups hanging from the ceiling with each chair being a mismatch arrangement and the walls are filled with all different types of cups and teas and accessories. There is a rack of various hats that you can try on while enjoying your tea. I came with my four year old daughter and I recommend those with small children to be aware that if they break anything you have to pay for it and it's all fine china so be aware. I got the princess tea for my daughter and the queen tea for me. The layout was pretty to look at but to be honest the food was mediocre. Fruits were kinda wilted, bread wasn't very fresh tasting and the scone was on the harder side. The cost ended up being 69$ and with tip about 80$. Tea was pretty good though and since it was summer I got their iced tea. While it was a fun activity for my daughter if I'm paying that price I would like the food to at least be decent. read more

What a delightful place. Who would have thought that a place like this for high tea would be in Las Vegas, but here it is. From the moment one walks in, it's like walking into an English cottage decorated with flowers and lace. They have an amazing selection of loose tea from all over the world. And everywhere you look , there's something striking and memorable to appreciate. Tea pots and tea cups of all sizes and styles hang from streamers. Every nook has a theme. A special room for private parties is beautifully decorated. They also have several gift items for sale. We had the queen's high tea and were so happy with our choice of delicious bites and our individual tea pots. And wouldn't you know it, my tea pot was an elephant (love elephants!). The proprietor Inga Parunyan is amazing! She made everything in-house including the strawberry jam. While we were there, a milliner named Louisa Voisine came with many incredibly beautiful hats and fascinators she designed and made herself, and she put them up for sale. There was a private party of women who came all dressed up for the occasion, with their beautiful hats, vintage jewelry and one-of-a-kind beaded bags. A young father brought his cute three-year-old daughter for tea, and how he interacted with her, poured her tea and served her tiny sandwiched truly melted our hearts.
