My truck, a 2021 Ram 1500 was vandalized on New Years day morning. Aaron kept me informed, was absolutely polite and i felt like he was working for me like I should expect. They got it done in the time they estimated. The truck looks great. They fought for me and dealt with the insurance company that wanted to give me used or cheap parts. August 30, 2024 - Gerber repaired front end damage to my car (Subaru 2020 Forester) - They…read moreprovided a very rapid response to a request for an appointment for an insurance appraisal, they provided me with a very detailed discussion of repairs, they gave an amazingly reasonable estimate, they provided a very rapid response time for repairs (and met their timeline!) and they did all adjustments of computer mechanics for safety features. Very pleasant employees, very easy to navigate their website to monitor progress. I would have preferred more personal communication - phone calls instead of text messages - as when I called the number provided via text, the call rolled over to the national headquarters with al lengthy wait time and they never returned my calls. As a result, I drove over to the Hickory location twice (while I was on hold with the national office) and I never received a response from them to an insurance question until I picked up the repaired car. My dispute (according to them) is with State Farm, and they are probably correct, but it would have nice to have talked with Gerber personally before I picked up the car and was annoyed. That would have taken now customer service call/message. I was also surprised that when I did up the car, they did not walk me through the repairs visually, they just handed me paperwork and the key; so I took my own photos to document repairs. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend them for response time, quality of repairs, and price.

I was in an accident and contacted Lockman's based on a referral from another repair place and a insurance company. Because Lockman's has a tow truck, I contacted them before I heard from the insurance company. They were understanding and allowed my car to sit there for two days before the insurance company contacted them. Lockman's warned that repairs could take 10 days, they texted me the progress, returned calls and allowed hubby to stop by. When I picked up my car, the tires were clean, shiny and inside was detailed. Being in an accident is a scary thing, and Lockman's made it a bit easier by communicating with the insurance companies.

I took two vehicles to this particular collision center. This was an out of pocket fix with no…read moreinsurance involved. One vehicle was fixed but had to be returned for adjustments due to tail lights and the trunk lid being out of alignment, pretty simple. The second I was talked out of getting a new rear bumper because the current bumper could be fixed. After picking up the second car there was still a crease in the bumper and a spot that was very dull on the paint along with the clips missing allowing the bumper to be pulled away from the car. There was also a divot spot in the paint. I took it back to be fixed. After a couple of clips that the tech "didn't know went on there" or some weird explanation that was fixed. The spot that was dull was buffed out easy enough. The crease and divot in the bumper was due to "previous work being done to the bumper". Apparently what I had was what I was going to get. At no point was I contacted about how shoddy it would look, did look, or even given a choice of buying a new bumper which is what I had asked for in the first place only to be talked out of it because they were so sure it could and would be fixed. After stating how unhappy I was with the work I was told they could put a new bumper on as long as I paid the difference. So two cars fixed. Two cars had to be taken back for fixes. One car is a clear representation of their work. While I was offered a new bumper if I paid the difference, I told them I would be a fool to give them any more money at this point. This business has been the most inconvenient and disappointing repair I've ever had to deal with...and this was out of pocket paying. If you take your vehicle here, you've been warned. They like to respond with "contact us and we will fix your issue". They will fix your issue after you pay for them more money to fix their incompetent, irresponsible, and shoddy work. Im not paying another cent to have this issue fixed.
