I got two different quotes from two different sales people two days apart for the exact same…read moreproduct and quantity of -Celebration Bermuda sod. First quote was $1091, then when I called back to place my order and schedule delivery for Saturday. April 19, the second quote was almost $1600, including delivery. Hmmm, ok, should've mentioned a $500 delivery fee with the first quote. I called Saturday, April 19, to ask about a delivery time and was told they can't provide one, should be here sometime between 5:30 am-2:00 pm. Then they said they don't see me on the schedule at all and needed to call me back. 30 min later, Angel left a VM saying there must've been some kind of miscommunication between Manuel and me about the delivery date, that the delivery is scheduled for next Saturday. I called to talk to Angel again and was told I must've ordered delivery for the wrong weekend. Then he tried to blame the sod company for messing up the delivery date. When I found out they go through A G Sod, I called them directly and learned that Kern Turf failed to even place the order and blamed me for the "confusion." They confirmed no order was placed for me by Kern Turf and I was not on the schedule for delivery, this weekend or next weekend. When I realized I could order directly through A G Sod, who also confirmed the first/lower quote I received from Kern Turf was correct and that it included delivery to my house, I ordered directly through them for the same price. Why the second guy jacked the price up another $500 is still a question no one seems to be able to answer. Whole lot of fishiness going on here. So, I do not recommend Kern Turf Supply unless they fire the guys making excuses and blaming others for their mistake. An honest mistake is understandable but not the lying and blaming. If you need sod, skip the middle man. It's the same cost and one less person to mess it up.

The grass grew so much in just a couple months so we hired them back to properly cut it and clean up the front once again and had some stones laid in the back that really made the backyard shine.
