It's the end of October and I decided to go to the golf course. I booked it the day before and got a decent rate. Then the day of golf, this happened....The pro shop was locked at 10am. Found a crabby woman who really did not want to be there. They proceeded to unlock the pro shop with a knife and grab me a dozen crappy balls. Said follow me this way. Upon paying at the bar, rate changed and they forgot to add balls. When asked to pay for balls I gave 100 dollar bill for 37 plus tax for balls. Got a horrible look from crabby woman at the bar who said I couldn't pay with that. I ended up paying with card and saying" you guys are not very organized here " she responded with" boy that's kinda FN harsh and disappeared. AWESOME COURSE!!!!!! Knowledgeable management is nonexistent at this golf course. They allowed six people in one group an eight people out in another group and they were sharing only three sets of clubs, on a Saturday. Went to buy hotdog at the turn, nobody could be found, in the bar area was filthy. read more

Place is a dump. Range balls are old, smooth, broken and not washed. Carts have flat tires and broken body panels, 4+ hours to play 12 holes (we left after this hole). No rangers to enforce pace of play. Greens are riddled with divots, tee boxes are cement, bunkers are mud. Not worth it. read more

Played here yesterday. Overall the course was in good shape, but my group and I witnessed something we never have on a golf course: There was a group of 10 players in front of us and paint dried faster than their pace of play. Instead of breaking up into groups, they insisted on playing together and it ended up causing a huge log jam behind them. They were reluctant to letting any groups pass them (no clue why). 18 holes took 5.5 hours. They also had some of the worst etiquette I've seen on a golf course... I'm all for drinking a couple beers and having a good time, but these guys were loaded. They were seen doing donuts on the tee boxes and driving their carts on the greens. There's absolutely no reason to be doing that. At one point, a member of our foursome accidentally took his tee shot prematurely, and it landed roughly 45 yards to the right of where the group was taking their second shot (they were in the rough, my buddy lined one perfectly down the fairway... honestly one of the best shots I've ever seen him hit). Admittedly, we didn't gauge the distance correctly and we probably should have waited to take the tee shot. We yelled "fore" when we realized it was getting closer than expected. Ultimately, the ball didn't even come close to hitting them. The group ahead of us took the ball on the fairway and chucked it back in our direction. The club was reluctant to do anything about their page or play or their antics. We called multiple times asking for something to be done, it didn't seem like any employees cared. Won't be coming back. Take your business somewhere else. read more

Played 7/21/24. Course was in good shape however the guy behind the counter was rude and not friendly at all. 0 personality and 0 interest in being there. He acted like we were bothering him to pay money. When we got beers on the turn he rolled his eyes and acted put out. This was unacceptable but based on other reviews this has happened to other customers. I would not play this course again. read more

Absolutely poor not cared for. Could not put a tee into ground nothing but dry and dusty. Tiny bit of green Could barely putt the grounds were extreme. 45.00 per player for 18 personally if they took better care of it then 45.00 would be great. Good luck in the future you'll need it. read more

My friends and I drove an hour and a half to be here to be turned away for being a minute late. 8:27 tee time and we were paying right at 8:27. When the "Lady" in the pro shop would not send out a group in front of us. It makes no difference to allow another group to go ahead. Almost as if they didn't want our money. I feel bad for anyone who has to deal with the pro shop lady on a daily basis. The course looked fun but I will not be going back based on the woman in the pro shop. read more

Great value for the money. Nice course, fairly well maintained. Some tough forced carries and a very tough couple of holes on the back nine - one a double dog leg with water at both 90s, another with a very narrow tee shot over a ravine. They need more drinking water and a few more distance markers on the course. Worth playing if you are in the area. read more

played here yesterday in the morning as a 4 some, course was in good condition for the price. pro shop and cart staff were nice, but the lady at the bar was being rude to both our group and the other staff members. overall good course for the price you pay. read more

Course is really nice but the staff their is awful. We played during the twilight hours and some old lady made us come in 30 min before sunrise because she wanted to go home. We were on hope 18 halfway done and she forced us to pick up our balls and was very rude. Don't ever plan on coming to play at this course during the evening unless you want an irate lady to follow you around the whole time wanting you to leave. We played oak grove today and it was in great shape. Played the blues. There was a new challenge at every tee. We play a different course each Sunday and this one will be put in the rotation for next year. Had a great day on a beautiful golf course. read more

Once again a great challenging course. Everything but the traps are in great condition. I decided to play 36. The first 18 was pretty uneventful. Pace was good. After that it all went to hell. Pull up at the first tee and no ranger. Had an 80 year old couple playing the white tees. Now the only reason I bring this up is they removed the black tees because they were encouraging faster play. Problem is the gentleman in this group needed to move up too. Over 5 hours for the second round. Once again cart girl and bar closed before we finished. These courses now days I don't understand. To me it's like ordering your food from your server and they leave before they bring your food. If you are open for golf you should be open everywhere else. Overall if you want a challenging course great prices but lackluster amenities great place. read more

I really do enjoy playing this course, great layout with multiple tee's to play from & reasonably priced even on the weekends. I would definitely recommend. I was a little disappointed with the condition of the greens though, seems like players forget to repair ball marks. read more

This place markets itself as a "Premier" golf facility. It is far from it. The day started with them not having the reservation we made on the phone with them just hours earlier. Then we had to wait 20 minutes for a cart to become available. When we finally was given a cart, it had been hosed down but not dried, so we could not put our personal items in the forward compartment. It was 95 degrees on Fathers day. There was no marshall - it took 4.5 hours to play 13 holes. There was NO drinking water on the course, and we only saw the drink cart when we teed of on #1. We called the clubhouse from 13th tee, and was told that the drink cart was called in for the day at 3pm. Every trap was full of muddy water and unplayable. They didn't even have handi wipes on the ball washers. This course is out in the middle of nowhere, and not worth the drive. read more

Played Oak Grove for the first time last Fall - what a jewel! Course was in great shape. Bent grass tees, fairways and greens. Best fairways I have played. Even better than the high dollar Florida and Arizona courses I have played. Greens were in great shape, fast and true with nice contour. In country setting with no houses. Haven't tried it from the tips yet but know it won't be easy. Instantly became one of my favorite tracks. Give it a try you won't be disappointed. read more
