Nice to find a local place like this that has friendly people. The prices were very reasonable and they have everything you need.

A woman assured me I would be able to pick out a woman's equivalent out of the pro shop. EJ, the manager, told me they don't carry woman's clothing because it doesn't sell at their shop. He then told me he would get a catalog and I could choose from that. Since we had been members for 5 years and has never had an issue, I trusted him and gave him back the men's extra large jacket. We then stopped at the pro shop from spring time until Labor Day and left message after message for EJ. When he was there, I spoke with him in person reminding him who I was and asked what was the status of the catalog that he was obtaining for me to choose my prize? He was irritable, denied that he ever told me he would get a catalog. Then when I said, why don't you give me 85$ equivalent merchandise, he stated, " There was no monetary value to that prize. So in other words, we paid 40$ in raffle tickets and that meant he could technically give me a pack of Tees and I should be happy. He then said to come back in two days and he would have the catalog. My husband went in person 3 days later and he had nothing! He told my husband he would get the catalog and he would call him. 3 guesses what didn't happen? So I called because my husband was fed up and just didn't want to go back and told me to forget out the prize. Well EJ was so irate at this time that I had the nerve to call and ask what was going I told him I am not going to listen to you raise your voice. And yes....i called him an A..H... I called my lawyer who said it was not enough $$ to warrant a lawsuit but I should call the BBB which is what I did. We also will not be returning to that golf course. The membership was not worth the poor quality pot holed path and the shoddy greens. We now go elsewhere. I hope it was worth it to you EJ.

He also said, " there is no monetary value of that prize" oh really? so I would have spent 40$ on raffle tickets to win a bag of tees? is this a case of the old Bait and Switch? We have been members for at least 5 years. this man has met our attempts with anger and excuses. Well, all of this stress is not worth 85$ EJ keep your money. consider your 85$ paid in full for the opportunity for me to make golfers aware of how you do business.

I golf here regularly as it's the closest course to my home and it's a decent value. The course…read moreitself has a fun layout that is quite short but can be challenging, particularly holes 14-16. Greens are generally slow and flat and the sand is typically firm to very firm. It's nearly the end of June under the first year of new ownership and there is still a lot of room for improvement. This has been an exceptionally wet summer but the management has done little to keep the course from being damaged by the wet conditions. I've seen full golf outings and league with carts off the cart path the day after torrential rain. I don't understand why they don't try to protect the course. The course lacks a ranger to my knowledge and that leads to a lot of bad behavior on the course going unchecked. I appreciate this course as a decent option for beginner's to play casually in reasonable conditions, but many golfers who play here lack some basic etiquette to make golf fun for whoever is enjoying the course that day. You will see many ball marks by the end of the day and many golfers who are three sheets to the wind by the final few holes. The only maintenance the course seems to receive is in the morning which is very disappointing considering one day the entire green on the 14th hole was covered in cottonwood fluff rendering it unplayable. Worse, the practice green was covered as well which means they've seen the problem and chose to ignore it. With all this criticism said, I do still prefer it to nearby options like Spring Valley, Hickory Knolls, and Renwood.

They've remodeled the interior, though there are still a few games I recall playing back in the day! My cousins kid opted for mini golf and had a great time, but this course hasn't changed at all and that's not a good thing. The design makes it easy for kids to knock their balls off the designated path, which our birthday star did several times. The water features weren't running and even the ponds were empty which ruins the view and pictures. After, we went inside for food and games. The kid was offered a red or blue slushie. He asked what flavor they were and was told they are both raspberry... he didn't like it. Raspberry is not typically any kids favorite flavor, they should expand on the options a bit. The pizza looked OK, it's about the quality you'd expect from this kind of place. They brought out a wheel and the kid got to spin for some free tickets, which he loved. They brought out a bowling pin as a keepsake for everyone to sign which is another nice touch. I'll give credit to the staff, the guy interacting with our group did a great job hyping up the kids. I didn't get to check out the other amenities such as bowling and go-carts so I can't speak on them, but I've bowled here before and enjoyed myself. In the fall they do a haunted house. I've never attended it but that's another thing to consider. Honestly if the mini golf course was in better condition I'd give them another star but the empty ponds with visible pipes was ugly and off-putting. That said this seems like a good way to entertain some kids for a day.
