I read her bio & had specific areas I needed her to focus on so I mentioned it upon meeting her. Check-in was swift & I just had to sign an e-waiver online. Stephany had a good Swedish technique, good pressure, warm hands & focused a lot on my back, hips & neck. I was really pleased & feeling relief. Had one of the best massages EVER yesterday evening. Highly recommend Bert. I told him when kind of pressure I wanted and he was right on point. My back has been killing me and even though this morning I woke up a little sore from the massage (I asked for the most intense pressure) my actual muscles feel loose. I will always request him from now on. The massage actually lasted the full 50 minutes. There was a clock in there so you could verify unlike some places that short you. I did not want to get up after I was done, I was so relaxed. Upon arrival I was checked in and offered hot tea or water then taken back right on time for my appointment. Brittany was AMAZING! I went in for my first ever prenatal massage currently at six months. She explained everything so well and made the experience so calm and comfortable. I was expecting to lay sideways on the table but instead, I got to lay on a very comfortable belly pillow that also had accommodations for the chest area. I did an 80 minute tier 2 massage and every single minute was worth it. She was able to target every single area that I had mentioned was hurting, was able to provide me with enough pressure since I prefer deep tissue massages. the room was calm, clean, soothing, and her communication was perfect. It's been at least a month since I have been. I have this horrible back pain in my upper back on my right side. It felt like I had a twisted rope in my back. The lady paid very particular attention to my upper back in and now I think, the problem is gone or at least the pain is gone. This was my first time getting a massage and quite honestly I don't think it could have gone better, except for maybe if it could have been longer haha. I had it either male or female for my person, which it is nice you can pick, and Kyle was my guy. He made sure I was so comfortable and talked me through the whole process including the form I had filled requesting what areas I wanted to work on. I felt very comfortable and relaxed as Kyle helped talk me through everything and it was so great!! He did a great job working on my trouble sports and continually checked in to make sure nothing he did was too much pressure or pain. I had mostly deep tissue so it hurt a little and I was for sure sore but in such a good way! The woman who works at the front desk is also so kind! Highly recommend this place! read more

I typically go to the Hubner location but their appointments book up quickly and I can see why. There is a huge difference in the way things are ran at the Bulverde Rd location. I booked an online appointment for a 80 minute deep tissue massage at 1:30pm. I showed up at 1pm and tried to confirm that it was for a prenatal massage. They informed me that prenatal massage was not listed in the noted or possibly not selected- which was fine! The issue came when the staff member Sara Silva informed my husband and myself to wait for her to speak with the massage therapist - we waited over 30 minutes with ZERO initiated communication. Like, NOTHING. My husband went back in to check in twice during the wait time and was told she was not yet available etc. At 1:33pm we were then told (again being the ones to initiate this conversation) that she would not be able to do the massage. Again, this is fine as the selection for the prenatal massage was not made on my end. But the COMMUNICATION?! Absolutely terrible! Sara failed to communicate WHY we were waiting, failed to check in and when I addressed that we were waiting 30 minutes for her to let me know that a massage therapist that is not listed on their prenatal massage therapist list was unable to do the massage. Let's not mention I called to speak to the regional manager "Lindsay" who was immediately dismissive and only after LISTENING to my reasoning did she say that it may have been that Sara was "flustered" and lacking "good communication" at the time as she (Sara) did not communicate the reason we needed to wait in the way Lindsay did. All in all, Lindsay was able to clarify what the wait was for but definitely Sara needs some more training in customer service. COMMUNICATION when servicing customers is KEY. And for that reason, I'll book my massages elsewhere. read more
