Among all that the residence we're not properly taken care of as the girls on third shift would go outside for most of their shift and leave residence unattended not checking on them or taking them to the bathroom. They're Hygiene was incredibly awful. Residents would walk around with unmatched clothes, hair not combed, teeth not brushed and most never even had their dentures taken out and cleaned. I have been working with the elderly for 15 years and never once in my life have I ever experienced anything like this. I would definitely not recommend this place for employment or for the care of your loved ones.

A special acknowledgment to Tracey, his nurse who kept us informed and provided guidance. She developed a likeness to my dad resulting in him referred to as "buddy". Ashlee, Daphne, Phyllis, Melinda, Dennis, Sara, Maiya, all providing such wonderful care. I am sure there are some names I am overlooking, but know that everyone who had a hand in my dad's care was so kind. The social worker Melinda would address any issue and was so accommodating and always kind. To summarize, The Gardens at Camp Hill is under rated for the level of care provided by such a wonderful staff. Do not overlook this facility in your quest for a place for your loved one.

They actually wanted my husband with chronic back issues to either sleep in a recliner, sleep on a couch, or have us buy a bed or move ours downstairs since he was incapable of climbing stairs at that time. I ended up working with the insurance company myself to get a hospital bed arranged. They were useless. Lastly, the medical director there changed many of my husband's meds and his dosages without consulting with his regular specialists. She really made a mess of his meds and left it that way for his primary care doctor to straighten out once he was discharged. Could not get out of there fast enough!

(Not really her business) and when he made a smart comment, she proceeded to call other family members accusing him of doing something illegal?? THEN the business office says they are reporting him for elder abuse?? He is there daily to feed and visit his mother and is her POA. This is completely unacceptable and adds more stress to a family already dealing seeing their mom declining. This is not what long term care should be like. I would recommend Bethany Village. I've have good experiences at that facility.

My mother has lived at the Manor at Oakview for nearly 3 years. She has been VERY happy there…read more Three meals are served every day and, if desired, there are several nearby alternatives. Health care providers are also nearby and food can be prepared in the kitchenette in her apartment. There are movies and games scheduled as well as musicians often in the Common Area. COVID precautons have been excellent and Rich, the general manager, has stayed on top of COVID spreading and adjusted procedures as needed to keep residents and employees safe. He, along with Kim (who plans and organizes the activities), Cheryl (the charming and accomadating Office Manager) and Craig, is the biggest asset in The Manor. Rich and staff make my mother feel like the VIP that she is! The maintainance and dining room/kitchen staff are also on point. We have been, and plan to continue to be, very pleased with the service Rich Dilello and staff have provided!
